Practical IAM Solution with Room for Enhancement
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about JumpCloud is how straightforward it is to use and manage once it’s set up. The interface is clean and intuitive, so it doesn’t take long to find what you need or perform common tasks. Implementation was also smooth.
Their customer support has been great whenever I’ve needed help — quick responses and knowledgeable staff who actually understand technical issues instead of just reading from a script.
I use JumpCloud regularly to manage users, devices, and authentication across multiple systems, and it saves a lot of time compared to juggling separate tools. It also integrates well with other platforms like M365 and Google Workspace, which makes it a strong fit in a mixed environment.
Overall, JumpCloud offers a good balance of features and usability without being overly complex, which makes it an excellent choice for centralized identity and access management.

Overall, JumpCloud offers a good balance of features and usability without being overly complex, which makes it an excellent choice for centralized identity and access management.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about JumpCloud is that some of its advanced features and reporting tools feel limited compared to larger identity platforms. The logs and analytics could be more detailed, and integrations with certain third-party apps sometimes require extra setup or scripts. Device management especially on macOS or older systems, it can be inconsistent, and scaling up can get pricey as more features or support are added. Overall, it’s a solid platform for small to mid-sized organizations, but larger environments may find it lacking in depth and enterprise-level flexibility.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud has helped me simplify and centralize how I manage users, devices, and access across our organization. Before using it, we had accounts and permissions scattered across different systems, which made onboarding, offboarding, and policy enforcement a headache. Now, everything is managed from one platform, so I can easily control user access, enforce MFA, and push device policies regardless of whether the system runs on Windows, macOS, or Linux. It’s also helped cut down on shadow IT by giving better visibility into what apps are being used. Overall, JumpCloud has reduced a lot of manual work, improved our security posture, and made daily IT administration much more efficient.

Ability to see all my company's devices in one place and managing them efficiently.
Time-Saving Solution with Room for Endpoint Enhancements
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using JumpCloud for four and a half years, primarily for setting up users on machines and endpoint management. I find it easy to set up, as initially, we had some issues with clients not updating on machines, but those have been resolved. I appreciate how JumpCloud allows us to limit access to machines without being a part of the Azure directory, which saves us a significant amount of time. Among the most useful features and capabilities is its ability to limit what users can be installed on a machine. This functionality is crucial for us, and it's a primary reason why I would choose JumpCloud again. In terms of recommendation, I believe for an environment like ours, JumpCloud is an excellent fit, and I would rate it a solid nine out of ten.
What do you dislike about the product?
{"The JumpCloud endpoint management is not as robust as I would like it to be.","JumpCloud remote access lacks the ability for unattended access, which is critical for my needs.","Initially, we faced issues with the JumpCloud client on machines not updating."}
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud lets me control who can access machines, saving time by not needing Azure directory integration, and simplifies endpoint management.
Reliable solution with excellent support and usability
What do you like best about the product?
The platform allows me to apply policies to large groups of machines simultaneously, which saves a lot of time. I can also run commands on specific machines when needed. Additionally, the dashboard is intuitive and easy to use, and the support team is very helpful and polite.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing that could be improved is the Commands Results tab — it should allow me to refresh the results without having to exit and reopen it. Additionally, there could be a better way to display the results to make them easier to review and analyze.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This platform has helped us address several key challenges. It has significantly improved our security posture by enforcing password length and complexity requirements, hardening machines, applying consistent policies, and maintaining secure desktop environments. Additionally, it has improved user management and provided an efficient way to maintain a complete and accurate inventory of our systems.

What do you dislike about the product?
on some devices it sometimes errors out and stops reporting requiring a reinstall.

patching and remote support primarily.
