Great customer service
What do you like best about the product?
CSM and sales rep were great. Software is working as needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
We had an issue a couple of months ago where JumpCloud and our MFA was not working together. Has been fixed since.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were able to implement without using AD
Exceptional service
What do you like best about the product?
A cloud-native solutions such as JumpCloud allows to operate efficiently without being forced to configure, maintain, operate and secure a footprint-heavy stack.Truly Fully supported cloud service.
What do you dislike about the product?
MFA is limited compared to other players in the field .Push-MFA or even QR-codes to be used as multiple factors during authentication across devices and protocols.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud is the only solution which can provide an authoritative directory, an IdP for SAML and device management combined in a single unified SaaS-based solution. The neutral approach by serving well established standards such as LDAP, SAML and RADIUS for AuthN/AuthZ and having the capability to managed identities (user and their devices) and credentials including SSH-keys on devices is a true differentiator to competitive solutions.
Better than AD on Mac.
What do you like best about the product?
Getting users assigned to the proper machines and essentially having the machine ready to go for the end-user without them having to do anything.
What do you dislike about the product?
I had troubles when imaging windows devices getting JumpCloud to work. It required reinstalling the app
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were able to remove on-prem AD and instead use JumpCloud to get users set up. This also sped up our onboarding process and remote work possibilities.
Great cloud directory solution
What do you like best about the product?
Jumpcloud is easy to use and provides a strong directory solution alternative to Microsoft Active Directory. Pricing is also very reasonable.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love to see more policies that are easy to implement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a directory for all of our company's computers and users is essential for security, access, and control. With so many of our users working remotely, having a cloud solution like JumpCloud has been ideal.

MDM Security

Great for small business moving to the cloud
What do you like best about the product?
For any small businesses with a domain controller onsite, JUmpcloud is a great way to get rid of that on-premise server and still get a directory.
What do you dislike about the product?
The need to re-certify the connection between O365 and Jumpcloud.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping small businesses avoid having to replace an expensive server that is just being a file server and DC.
JumpCloud DaaS
What do you like best about the product?
I most like the ability to add devices to JumpCloud quickly. This makes onboarding new devices much quicker. A simple PowerShell script can be loaded and executed to link every machine to our JumpCloud directory.
What do you dislike about the product?
JumpCloud does not provide real RADIUS services. It can be used as a RADIUS server, but you will not be able to match against user groups. This has created a few challenges for SSO flexibility.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud has helped us keep user passwords up to date in our new work-from-home environment. We can also use JumpCloud to manage computer policies to make management easier and more streamlined.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
JumpCloud would be an excellent solution for any company wanting to operate in a full cloud environment. If your environment uses physical servers you may want to consider on-premise or hybrid active directory.

Great Cloud Management with One Glitch
What do you like best about the product?
How simple it is for not only the administrators to manage the accounts and devices, but also how simple it is for the users to manage their own accounts.
What do you dislike about the product?
When moving an existing profile from a local domain account to JumpCloud, we hit some issues converting the profile and ended up having to rebuild a few of them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Some of our clients were not on local or cloud domains. JumpCloud allowed us to manage those devices and credentials without the need for a server or settings up Azure AD.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you have any clients or machines that do not currently have a local or cloud domain or identity management, check out JumpCloud. Keep in mind that there may be a glitch or two while moving profiles. Also, the machine name can't be the same as the username when using JumpCloud or you may get additional errors.
Works well across platforms and operating systems
What do you like best about the product?
Integrates well with our applications as well as providing single sign on for our macOS fleet.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of nested groups is sometimes difficult to deal with. Occasionally we have issues with remote users locking themselves out requiring hands on support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SSO and device login.
