Good Option

What do you like best about the product?
I've been using JumpCloud for a while now and what I really like is its versatility across different platforms. The cloud-based management is a plus too, especially for remote work.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface can be a bit clunky at times, and some features, like the reporting tools, could use more polish. Also, it’s not the cheapest option out there, especially for smaller businesses.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud makes managing Mac devices super easy. I can push security policies, manage users, and handle updates all from one place, which saves a lot of time. It also works well with other MDM tools. Only downside is sometimes it’s a bit slow to update changes in real-time, but overall, it’s solid for Mac management.

Jumpcloud was a great replacement for an Aging Active Directory Service

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to control so much through a single interface. Being able to assign policies based on either user group or device groups has made provisioning new machines way easier than before. We'd been on an older Active directory system that needed a major overhaul. Moving to JumpCloud made way more sense both for time and for cost. The system has been a great match for our company.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wish I had access to a phone support line at my current plan, but needed that most during our initial migration. Has been great since getting the business migrated over.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a 1 person IT team it allows me so much control and visibility over my whole system. Its been a great tool that has streamlined a lot of processes for me as well.

JumpCloud has been a game-changer for our MSP in Mexico / Lat

What do you like best about the product?
We love how JumpCloud lets us manage users, devices, and security policies for all our clients from a single platform. The ability to support Windows, macOS, and Linux without relying on on-prem AD has been a huge win, especially for SMB clients with hybrid setups. The Zero Trust approach, MFA, and remote device management have made our operations faster, more secure, and easier to scale.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform is constantly improving, but some advanced features can take a bit of time to fully understand and configure, especially for complex client environments. Also, it would be great to see more localized documentation and resources in Spanish for the Latin American market.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud helps us centralize identity and device management for multiple clients across different environments. Before, we had to deal with separate tools, on-prem Active Directory setups, and manual processes, which slowed us down and increased the risk of errors. Now, we can manage access, enforce security policies, and deploy configurations remotely, all from one platform. This saves us hours of work each week, improves security for our clients with MFA and Zero Trust, and gives us the flexibility to scale our services without adding extra overhead.

Jumpcloud does a lot but is it right for you?

What do you like best about the product?
The tech support has always been top notch, and I required many sessions in setting it up, and fine tuning it over the years. They are ready to help at any time day or night and best of all they drive that last mile to get what you need done.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's complicated, there is a lot to know about the levels of security, drill down screens, plug ins for all the services that it needs to connect to in order to have a secure system, and it needs to be maintained on a daily basis to make sure that everything is working properly, user error can mess up the whole system, especially if they forget their password.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Compliance for SOC2 and/or ISO 27001, as well as NIST Cybersecurity Framework. I also need it for locking down our mobile warriors on the road in case anything happens to their devices.

Endpoint management with Apple Macbook, supporting my compliance and security against data leaks.

    Hospital & Health Care

Pretty good usability and functionality.

What do you like best about the product?
There's a lot of options of what to configure, by that I mean devices, users, groups, options for SSO, commands and so on. The documentation is pretty well maintained too, so configuring and implementing new features for our use case has been great and easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interfaces has a lot of things kind of hidden behind buttons that I consider not necessary. For example, when checking devices inside a device group the need to check "show bound Devices" is redundant an unnecessary, by default should show the added devices and then if I want to select a new one I should uncheck the box and search for that one.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing the increasing amount of users and devices in our company, centralizing users for SSO in out internal apps and security compliance.
