Solid all round MDM and SSO
What do you like best about the product?
Handles Apple, Microsoft and Linux OS devices as well as mobile. Apple's DEP integration for newer devices makes life easy and the comprehensive interrogation of device software and browser extensions is very helpful for diagnosing user issues and generating software registers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the features feel a little alpha from time to time and the reporting could be more fleshed out. The initial setup was a learning curve and the documentation could be a little better in places.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Visibility of all the software on the devices, Setup of new Mac devices is easy (most of our fleet), getting coverage of patch levels for all software and being able to proactively look at and manage the fleet of all devices.
Was looking for an online AD, found a great one.
What do you like best about the product?
Best part is that I dont need any infrastructure to setup an AD for my environment, second its all online and always available.
This is a great idea. I have been looking for an online AD for my use as I have a very small setup. This just came in at the right time. Appreciate all the efforts put under the hood. Will highly recommend small/midsize companies to 'jump' on jumpcloud now.

What do you dislike about the product?
Actually, there is nothing to not like. Once you start using it you need some features which might not be available right now, but it can be made available as per my knowledge. I would say it have room for improvement but there is nothing on it right now which needs to go.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Active directory for a small startup was the main goal. The ask was not to own any infrastructure due to budget constraints and because of the small team size we were able to get on without paying anything (10 free user/system licenses with the account) but once we start growing we will use this for sure.

Logging in could be a little bit smoother.

Using it to keep track of company computers and technology

JumpCloud provides an overall unified solution that allows us to consolidate user management needs using only one login.

Usually, prefer non-cloud base user management tools

I really like being able to use one login to manage JumpCloud to consolidate user management.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
For us and our administrators, JumpCloud has provided a centralized and uniform account management system that helps us to keep all user accounts and access managed from a single system.

I like very much the idea, the concept the tools and the technical support if you pay for it.

Sometimes is very slow if you open a ticket. but if you reach live support is very fast

Handle all my assets in one platform even diferent OS: Windows, Mac OS, Linux.

take your time reading manuales and Forun is very handy.

We use JumpCloud to streamline the user management process, especially as a completely cloud-based company.
Excellent customer service and overall a great tool for device security for our company

We love that it is so easy to deactivate a user and shut down access to their device when they leave the company.

How long it takes to get a new user up and running

We are solving our device security issues by having JumpCloud installed on each device. It really is pretty simple to use once you get started.

What do you like best about the product?
We primarily use Jumpcloud as a cloud LDAP and it works seamlessly integrating with Okta and Gsuite.
What do you dislike about the product?
This may be our issue but we've found using Jumpcloud with Jamf has caused some secure token troubles.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're using Jumpcloud as a cloud LDAP solution, to sync passwords between core services, and to manage access of servers and laptops.

An ever expanding suite of features, multiplatform support and great customer service

Lack of linux specific features and the some of the UI needs tweaking

So many, onbaoring users, access managemt etc
I really like using JumpCloud.
What do you like best about the product?
The GUI is very easy to use and fairly intuitive. The macOS agent seems to be robust and performant.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the console lags and you have to reload in order to manage resources properly. macOS application maintenance is also a weak point.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are managing our fleet of macOS devices as well as a user directory and SSO for our various vendor applications.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
JumpCloud is great but it still has some rough edges. If you have a team that can help with onboarding (writing scripts, configuring SSO, etc.) then JC is great. If you are looking for a click-and-done solution you might do better looking elsewhere.
