AWS Credits
-
1. How can I redeem the AWS Credits?
No action is required from you. AWS Credits will be auto-redeemed in your Designated AWS Account once issued to you. AWS Credits offset fees and charges incurred for the eligible AWS Services, during or following the billing cycle in which you receive the AWS Credits. You can view, track, and monitor your AWS Credits in the AWS Billing and Cost Management Console.
-
2. How should I provide the Designated AWS Account for redeeming of the AWS Credits?
You may provide the relevant Designated AWS Account details to your assigned AWS Sales Representative, who will contact you after your acceptance into this Program.
-
3. What can I use AWS Credits for?
AWS is the world’s most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud platform, offering over 200 fully featured services from data centers globally. You can use your AWS Credits for eligible AWS Services from infrastructure technologies like compute, storage, and databases–to emerging technologies, such as machine learning and artificial intelligence, data lakes and analytics, and Internet of Things.
AWS Credits are subject to the terms and conditions set forth at https://thinkwithwp.com/awscredits/. AWS Credits have no intrinsic or monetary value.
-
4. What’s not covered by AWS promotional credits?
AWS Credits cannot be applied to any fees or charges for Amazon Mechanical Turk, Ineligible AWS Support, AWS Marketplace, Amazon Route 53 domain name registration or transfer, any Services for mining for cryptocurrency, or any upfront fee for any Services such as Savings Plans and Reserved Instances (collectively, “Ineligible Services”). Any other service not listed in the AWS Billing and Cost Management Console is not covered by AWS Credits.
-
5. How are my AWS Credits applied against my bill? Can I use them to cover historical AWS bills?
AWS Credits in your Designated AWS account are applied only to offset fees and charges incurred for eligible AWS Services, during or following the billing cycle, in which you receive the credits. AWS Credits cannot be used to offset or cover historical AWS bills. For example, if your AWS Credits are issued in your Designated AWS account in the month of May, your AWS Credits will not count against your AWS bills from April or previous months.
-
6. How are my AWS Credits applied to Reserved Instances or Saving Plans?
AWS Credits are applied to Reserved Instances and Saving Plans the same way as other AWS Services. Upfront fees for Reserved Instances and Savings Plans are not covered by AWS Credits.
-
7. Where can I find details about my AWS Credits including credit usage?
You can find details about your AWS Credits including the exact credit amount, their expiration date, remaining balance, and the applicable AWS Services on the lowermost section of the credits page on the AWS Billing and Cost Management Console.
-
8. When will I expect to receive my AWS Credits?
To start receiving AWS Credits in your Designated AWS Account, you must bill be at least US$1 within 90 days (from AWS approving your participation in the Program).
You will receive additional AWS Credits if you complete each Tier, as described in the Program Benefits. To complete a Tier:
(a) you must meet the applicable monthly AWS Usage,
(b) all AWS Credits issued under a previous Tier must be fully utilized, and
(c) if applicable, meet the other requirements for that Tier, as described in the Program Benefits. -
9. How long do the AWS Credits last and what if I have not finished using them?
All AWS Credits issued as a part of AWS lift Program will expire 12 calendar months from the date on which you incur US$1 of fees and charges for use of AWS Services in your Designated AWS Account, after AWS approves your participation in the Program. E.g., if your first U$1 billing falls on any day within October, the AWS promotional credits will expire on 31st October the following year.
We will be providing a maximum validity of 2 calendar months for credits that will be issued in month 11 and month 12 of the customer ramp in the program.
-
10. Can I transfer or sell my AWS Credits?
No. AWS Credits cannot be transferred into another AWS account. You may not sell, license, rent, or transfer AWS Credits. If you violate this policy, your AWS Credits will be revoked.
-
11. I have seen AWS Lift advertising up to US$83,500 in AWS Credits, but I am only getting US$750. How do I become eligible for the US$83,500 in AWS Credits?
All customers admitted to the program are eligible for up to US$83,500 in AWS Credits, which are issued over 7 tranches. The US$750 is a starter benefit in the first tier. You will keep receiving further benefits, as you increase your AWS Usage. Please see Program Benefits on details of the tiers.
-
12. Do I have to reach every tier? Are there any restrictions on my issued AWS Promotional Credits, if I do not reach or maintain the same tier?
You can complete a Tier in any calendar month within the Program Period. You do not have to reach every tier sequentially nor reach the tiers consistently every month. Once the AWS Credits have been issued, you can choose to utilize the AWS Credits according to your business needs.

AWS is unable to extend the expiration date of AWS Credits, even if there are remaining AWS Credits left unused.
-
14. Can my AWS Promotional Credits be refunded or re-issued?
AWS Credits cannot be refunded or re-issued into your Designated AWS Account, even if your AWS Credits were incorrectly used or accidentally consumed.
