Frequently asked questions
Interested startups should submit their application during the application window open from November 25 through Jan 12, 2024. Finalists will be invited to participate in a virtual interview. All applicants will be notified of their status by the end of Jan.
Applications are evaluated based on a variety of factors, including founding team experience, target market, product maturity, evidence of traction and team composition. We are specifically interested in early stage startups (Pre-roundA) focusing on Cloud Security, Identity Management, Application Security, Generative AI in Cybersecurity, Data Security, or Security Operations (SecOps). Eligible startups must have a full-time technical lead, a developed Minimum Viable Product (MVP), and demonstrable early traction such as pilot customers, user growth, or initial revenue.

You should only include general and non-confidential descriptions of your technology and business strategy. AWS does not accept any legal obligation (whether of confidentiality, compensation, or otherwise) with respect to the materials submitted unless we agree to such obligations in a separate signed document. The program is hybrid. The kickoff and closing weeks are tentatively scheduled to be in person. The weeks in between will include virtual learning sessions and community events. Companies accepted into the program are expected to attend in-person for the final week, at minimum.
