Not as easy or fast or intuitive to produce and customize and share dat visualizations as Tableau.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating data analysis programs for public health datasets to share with partners who can not afford paid versions like SAS or Tableau. Running epidemiological models.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Good to know because it's free and you never know when you will be working for an organization that won't have a paid software like Tableau or SAS.
Great IDE for programming in R
What do you like best about the product?
Rstudio is one of the few IDEs that exist for programming in R because it is a very recent language and still little known, for this the editor Rstudio although it has little development time I think it is an application that is very well built and that works suitably for the creation of large projects using R as a language.
Technically it is very similar to other IDE created for other languages so if you are a programmer you probably do not find it hard to understand. The application in terms of configuration seemed complete and has all the features that one needs to build an efficient workspace in any IDE.
On the one hand it allows the change of appearance to a darker theme, something that we appreciate those of us who have a sight that gets tired easily when programming in environments with a lot of light. It also has a very useful command console for the execution or compilation of the project.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sincerely, I found it to be a very well-built application that has nothing to send to other IDE, Rstudio provides an environment to program in R that offers everything necessary for the creation and debug of any project. Maybe silly but you call it something negative it could be the default theme that although I like it, it could be a dark one by default since most programmers prefer a dark one.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend using RStudio not only because you really do not have an option since it is the only IDE alternative for R that is worthwhile, if not because it is really a good IDE that offers everything necessary for the creation of any project in this language, In addition the IDE has several versions, free and enterprise, but you can try it before buying it.
Rstudio for statistical analysis
What do you like best about the product?
Rstudio is easiest IDE to learn and implement R programming knowledge for statistics and data analytics.
What do you dislike about the product?
Rstudio has a very steep learning curve and takes time to learn
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data analytics and statistical design models i.e. design of statistical experiments
Great product, makes R as good as SAS
What do you like best about the product?
Anyone with any experience will know what it is like to use SAS and old style packs. this makes its much better with modern interface and great syntax.
What do you dislike about the product?
Didn't like the default plotter. I guess that is an inherent limitation in R, but if you want to do anytthing, you have to use GGplot
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data analytics. Allows me to use enterprise level software without paying for a full SAS or STATA license.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely use this!
Effective for analysis as a graduate student
What do you like best about the product?
RStudio is one of the softwares with the simplest design with ability to perform complex analytical tasks. The best thing I'd say is the easy API access and open-source nature of the software.
What do you dislike about the product?
The simple design is a little less intuitive, so for beginners things could be a little ambiguous.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We at our university have been using RStudio for a project in a venture to generate statistical analysis of customer research data. RStudio has been able to provide us with extensive software reports. Since most of our members were proficient in R, using RStudio was trouble-free.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Switch to RStudio if you love open-source software and like transparent deign and implementation.
A flexible, open statistical language interface
What do you like best about the product?
R Studio brings the flexibility of the R statistical language to a more user-friendly interface, incorporating some graphic interface qualities while maintaining the flexibility of coding.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a free, open source software, it is imperfect and bugs or un-intuitive aspects are common,
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Biological research; it is the most widely adopted statistical language in the biological sciences and therefore has a community benefit as well.
