Very easy and less line of code to write and quickly analize data statistically
Very easy and less line of code to write and quickly analize data statistically
An amazing open source software for exploratory data analysis
What do you like best about the product?
Commands can be run line by line, which makes it convenient find errors and correct them. The program environment is friendly. Ability to save several R scripts in one project. There are many packages with readily available codes which makes programming with it super easy. graphics using packages like ggplot can generate attractive charts plots and help the users in carrying out comprehensive graphical representations. Coding language is relatively easy to learn. Can generate data analysis reports easily with r mark down files. can easily access objects in the interactive environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is relatively slow when running programs and optimizations for large data sets. Being an open source software anyone can develop packages and upload , hence the algorithms in different packages may need to be run differently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I do time series analysis. Especially for econometric data. The package Quandl is heavily used. The best benefit is the ability to download econometric time series data easily and fast. It is free. Also, downloading procedure is very simple hence it saves a lot of time.
I also use simulation studies with RStudio. generating random numbers , density functions of various probability distributions is easy. Can create multi dimensional arrays to store data, and also, can export data, tables to text documents such as LaTeX easily.

Statistical Analysis with Rstudio
What do you like best about the product?
Rstudio has an exceptional interface and a large community around it. It also has great tools for data visualization and software development. Rstudio also provides educational resources for academic and technical development.
What do you dislike about the product?
Switching from an obsolete version to a newer one may be a pain given the fact that you have to re-download packages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Statistical modeling, data visualization, machine learning and software development. The ability to do all these on one platform is really cool.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are newcomer, take lessons free MOOC courses. Attend workshops and other coding classes. Most importantly, learn by using Rstudio to solve problems modeling problems.
My favorite statistical programming software
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy rstudio makes it to code in R.
What do you dislike about the product?
The documentation for all the functions could be better
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Rstudio to do predictive models and it's so much easier and accurate than using excel
Best IDE for R Workflow
What do you like best about the product?
RStudio is an IDE packed with features for the R programmer. From a debugger to integrated documentation and easy package management. I particularly like how R Studio handles R Markdown files; it is pretty easy to create reproducible documents that are documented with Markdown. With RStudio I've become less dependent on google to search for documentation for R functionality. It is as easy as adding a ´?´ before the command name in R Studio console and the documentation for that function will display automatically.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like R Studio to have better collaborative features such as those found in databricks or IPython notebooks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Make sure you kleep it up to date as well as the base R package. Sometimes you m
Most of what you need for your analytical projects
What do you like best about the product?
RStudio provides a simple interface where it is easy to find what you need at the right moment. If you need to install a library package, or if you need to run a simple command on the terminal, look at your current variables, sort your datasets visually, look at your created graphs, everything is at the reach of your hand.
The shortcuts make the experience of programming a lot better as you can skip some nuisances pertaining to the language itself.

What do you dislike about the product?
The Export Image option in the Plots section doesn't always give the best results. Also, it lacks a default option of block code execution that other software, even if they use another programming language, have as core mechanic.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It wraps the R programming language in a well done interface, therefore any analytical project in my current workflow has as a step the data exploration availability provided by RStudio. Also, it has the capability of managing your data in files in a quick manner, making it possible for you to integrate the results of your analysis into other tools that work with flat files.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Get your hands on the R programming language capabilities and you will realize everything is considered in the RStudio interface. Most of the limitations of the software are dictated by the limitations of the programming language and not by RStudio itself. However, if you are looking for good data visualization options, you should consider another tool.
Statistical analysis
What do you like best about the product?
Very efficient for statistical analysis specially doing tests like t test, chi square or probability.
What do you dislike about the product?
Visualization engine is not great. Very basic visualizations as compared to other platforms out there .
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Probability sums which needed lengthy answers on paper and solving complex equations, are now being solved withing seconds with inbuilt R functions.
Awesome IDE for Data analysis and machine learning tasks
What do you like best about the product?
Supports a ton of libraries and so easy to install
What do you dislike about the product?
It could be more good for dashboard designing
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it for statistical data analysis
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great environment for solving data science problems
Outstanding environment for statistical computation
What do you like best about the product?
Rstudio is not only an incredible graphical interface for R language but it represents a complete (the most one) user and development environment. With Rstudio is very easy, for instance, to automatically import datasets and to navigate through source files and workspaces without write any line of code. Plus, it allows for a very efficient management of the generated plots and of the command flow. Eventually, Rstudio is a must-to-have tool for any R user.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's very hard to find some cons about Rstudio. Maybe, some graphical components could be more visually appreciable with an icon restyling
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When I have to proceed with statistical hypothesis, post-hoc analyses and descriptive statistics, including plotting, I heavily use Rstudio for that.
