Easy, intuitive IDE for R programming
What do you like best about the product?
RStudio's interface is clean, minimalist, and makes writing code easy. Being able to view plots/files, variables, workspace, and command line all at once is helpful. Highlighted text (depending on values, variables, functions etc.) makes singling out comments, files, and numbers easy; this feature is expanded when working in R Markdown and is visually simple. The ability to preview and knit R Markdown documents is useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
RStudio tends to slow down considerably when editing an R Markdown or R Notebook file; I find myself having to write in a basic R script document then transfer over to Markdown once finished. Some useful features are somewhat hidden (ie, "Set Working Directory" is a tiny option in a small menu; it would be nice if this were more notable). The export image feature isn't great, and I usually use an outside utility to preserve image fidelity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
RStudio helps our data analysis move quickly. Benefits include increased efficiency and a lower learning curve for writing R code.

I am using R-Studio to work on my projects. It is great software to work on data analysis. It provides lot of packages to all features.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Its a great tool for R.
Steep learning curve but worth it
What do you like best about the product?
R is one of the best tools for getting beautiful graphs; good for twitter scrapping and text analysis. There's a good online community to help learn how to code with R and to solve random problems as they come along.
What do you dislike about the product?
learning curve is steep especially for people who are new to coding.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Statistical analysis, network analysis, text analysis, twitter scrapping, graphing data

The best data analytics tool for bioinformatics
What do you like best about the product?
The thing which makes me use the R more often is it user friendly as well as lot of packages available. If someone s looking for genome analysis. Several pipelines are available Like for ataq seq analysis , RNA seq
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn’t that much to dislike about R studio
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am currently working on the project where all my genomics data analysis is done on Rstudio
RStudio
What do you like best about the product?
Interactive, Easy Debugging, Auto-complete feature, Version control
What do you dislike about the product?
Found bigger computational task to be slower than command line
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Productivity, Security, Centralized Management
A great tool for statistical analysis
What do you like best about the product?
It is open source and hence, free! Its easy to install. The multiple screen view to see the code, output, logs at the same time enhances user experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
The plots cannot be seen for multiple commands at the same time. Once you move to the next plot, the previous once vanishes. This ability of multiple plots is present in Jupyter Python notebook but not in RStudio.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used to analyze manufacturing data set of a semiconductor firm and design a predictive model that indicates fault rates in manufacturing equipment with high accuracy.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use it if you want to work with regression, classification models. If you are considering a data visualization tool, I would recommend using Tableau or visualization packages in Python!
