Easy to integrate and use
What do you like best about the product?
The interface it provides to work with R
Data visualization is easy with R Studio. Other ways to use R have very unintuitive and difficult to use interfaces
Can directly use the graphs and charts in my reports.
Importing the files of other users is easy. So, portability of code is definitely made easy using R studio.
It also supports and integrates multiple languages.

What do you dislike about the product?
It takes some time to load the environment. Takes time to process large data sets. But its still one of the best interfaces to use R.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I try to optimize the portfolios and make investment decisions. The ease of processing is the major benefit.
I generally use predictive analysis using R. Also, it helps in getting visual output for the problem at hand. Can easily use the graphs directly in my reports.

Machine learning
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try python instead
Best IDE to write and run stats
What do you like best about the product?
I used RStudio for Mac and Win, as a developer I had a similar experience of using Eclipse IDE. Studio has extensive help options to write code blocks with ease.
What do you dislike about the product?
For business users it may require little learning curve
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I connected to my sample data sets to write and evaluate my function behavior, its REPL kind of environment helped me to nail down my statistical functions to get desired results. I used to derive Standard Deviations over regions sales data, forecasting and trend analysis.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use of RStudio enables to develop & deliver desired stats by evaluating sample data sets
R Studio is easy to use and has great graphics
What do you like best about the product?
I use RStudio for all of my analytic reports - it is dependable, easy to use, has great graphic tools, and works well with RMarkdown.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is difficult to keep up to date - there are a lot of versions of RStudio and R that need to be updated frequently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use RStudio to do biostatistics for medical research. It makes analyses easy, you can search for help right within the RStudio session, and it produces nice reports.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use RStudio to make working with R easier - I also recommend embedding RMarkdown into your work environment.
Statistical Analysis made easy
What do you like best about the product?
The abundance of modules and inbuilt functions to do a multitude of tasks ranging from statistical analysis to differential calculus.
What do you dislike about the product?
Interface is a little different in RStudio as compared to IDEs for other languages. I don't really dislike it but it was something I had to get used to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Statistical Analysis of datasets for regression and classification.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Easy to use. Good for non CS or Math people while doing analysis.
Fantastic and Powerful Product for Data Processing & Vizualization
What do you like best about the product?
The capabilities with the rStudio packages as well as the Shiny Deployment platform make rStudio a fantastically powerful platform for processing, analyzing and visualizing data.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is definitely a learning curve just like with any programming language. The good news, however is that you can easily make sure that you get up to speed with a good deal of online training that is either low cost or free. That plus the learning curve is far less steep than with Python (however, the power from a systematic perspective is limited as well).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Nimble, effective data analysis and visualization.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would highly recommend that you take a look at RSTudio as it implements a very easy way for you to ensure you are able to get acquainted with true data analysis; however, it is not without competition. There are many other suites but you should check to see if integrations for R are available for your organization's data sources and if you can easily get data out of those systems to even begin analysis. If you can't get the data out it does you no good to use a system like rStudio. Regardless, the power and flexibility definitely helps here, but you also may want to investigate Python and some of the more robust capabilities available there if you are looking to build a more scalable system that can deal with greater data prep and magnitude/velocity requests across the board.

The best tool to do your data analysis with R
What do you like best about the product?
I love its user interface and how it manages the use of different scripts. For example, one of the features that I use the most is the merge function that allows me to join my databases. Another thing that I like the most is being able to upload my databases using the import-dataset button

IDE for any Data Analyst
What do you like best about the product?
There are a couple different reasons. 1) Being able to use have all the many features of the R language in a succinct interface enhances productivity so well. 2). The R community and the packages behind the R language give any user the necessary tools to do anything under the sun. It is just finding the right package and then understanding how it should be utilized within the current application one is using. 3). The aesthetic of the UI feels natural and helps the experience to be easy and straightforward.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is built on a web-based platform, there are times that the connection between the R kernel and the IDE. It can be annoying.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Well, most of our business data problems have been solved using Excel. Being that Excel is a wonderful tool it has helped. However, it has been difficult to reproduce our analysis. Of course, there is the ability to save multiple copies of the data, but at the end of the day, there isn't a way to easily version an excel file which R and Rstudio have been able to give the RMarkdown and R Notebook structure.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There is a learning curve to the scripting language of R and look overwhelming to those who have not had a background in coding. However, RStudio is the best way to start as it aids the user by giving easy visibility to the data and the R package environment which are both essential elements of the R language.
