A reliable CRM alternative
What do you like best about the product?
More than the product itself, which catered to my company's CRMs needs at an affordable price, I liked how responsive the support team was, always ready to jump in a call and help us out with any issues we faced.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times, the product was unstable, bugging out during days when we needed it to work at full strength, but thankfully enough the team at WebEngage was quick to respond and prioritised the fix of our issues, clearly understanding why the bugs we faced were critical for our own product's well being.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've used WebEngage as an app automatization and CRM tool. It turned out to be a great alternative to more prominent names on the market and a much better price. It helped me communicate with the userbase and automate the customer journey with minimal friction.

Communication with customers based on various life cycle events, It has helped us to grow 3X times for the last year

Nothing. Probably it would be great if it is free :)

WebEngage is very easy to use & understand. The analytics & communication both are great. Highly impressed with the cohorts & Rfm segmentation. Creating new segment is easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
They do not have all the feature that competitor has. not able make it an attractive push, onsite notifications by coloring the background & fonts. also don't have many templates
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Help increase the revenues. It helps to increase retention rates & decrease the churn and disengaging rate. We can clearly understand the install rate uninstall rates

The analytical part is helpful to understand the data. there are many tools which we can analyze the data we have different views. It's very friendly to work with it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Taking more time to generate the segments. Also, there are some customizing campaigns tools that are missing compared to MoEngage. In survey part there are no eye-catching templates that we can select
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The best thing is the journey. It simply automates the manual work & its works well. It helps to increase the reinstall rate, cart abandon rate & repeat purchases.

Found difficulty to create dynamic email templates. Very few pre-built email templates available in Library.

Segmentation, Time take to create segment is pretty high
WebEngage to the Resuce
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the instant flexibility and ease of use that WebEngage offers. It is so accessible that even new members also find it easy to pick up. I also like the functionality it offers to conduct more experiments and scale faster.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more instant support, feedback, and guidance on various businesses' campaigns that are executed via WebEngage. This would enhance my customer satisfaction!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Increase user engagement, retention,and onboarding via WebEngage. Two key benefits of WebEngage is that it helps optimize metrics for different cohorts with ease and the time taken to launch is super short!
An instrumental tool for our CRM efforts
What do you like best about the product?
Very intuitive and easy to use interface, accommodates both straightforward and complex marketing automation initiatives with intricate logic and use cases. The team is very open to feedback and willing to continuously optimize the level of support they offer.
What do you dislike about the product?
- Segment creation can take a while, even if the number of eligible users is rather small.
- Reporting and conversion attribution can be improved - we had to rely on custom-built reports or BigQuery in order to be able to access mode sophisticated user insights
- Sometimes it takes a while between in-app user registration and the moment the user becomes visible in WebEngage
- Would be useful to be able to set some triggers/alerts whenever something isn't working as expected
- Adding annotations to the journey builder screen would also help tremendously

Not anything as such. Multi-app support is something which we could benefit from.

- Time taken for integrating the system with the clients', majorly on the tech side is a little long and I'm sure it's improving
