Can't decide if it's for technical or non-technical people
What do you like best about the product?
Workato has a solid and growing collection of connectors that makes it much easier for us to start integrations with systems we have no experience working with. It is really easy to build new connectors when none exist, and it is really easy to spin up new API surfaces based on recipes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Workato's recipe builder UI seems like it is designed with non-technical people in mind. However, it is a chore to use as someone who is technical, and it is sufficiently complicated that I am unsure how non-technical people can get the most out of it. It feels like they tried to make programming more accessible, but instead, they made it more tedious.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We want to integrate with many HRIS, T&A, and Payroll systems. We have spent a lot of time trying to set up just one of these integrations for ourselves. Workato provides a platform that we can use to easily integrate with all these different kinds of systems.
Quick, smart and impactful Automation
What do you like best about the product?
Workato provides a low code, simple interface allowing me to build some really interesting and impactful automation that otherwise would have been outwith my skillset
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some limitations to some of the connections that cause you to build rather complex and non-scalable workarounds. I would love to see more control in recipe response time with customizable adjustments
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mainly used to shuttle data between company data sources and sales-specific tools. We have implemented some pretty neat user bots that can reduce the need to move between tools for information

Easy to use, low code, when taught by others easy to remember steps; like the clickability of everything

Default in-built integrations to lots of systems/applications

Ability to add custom code in languages other than Java or ruby (additional language support like PowerShell, c# )

Automate a lot of solutions around AD, AAD, ServiceNow, Workday, and so on quickly without worrying about integrating those systems

What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity of the UI, and how fast changes can be migrated to environments
What do you dislike about the product?
Connector changes are not backward compatible
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Integration problems with various systems especially with Gsuite, SaaS systems. It's much easier than any other integration tool, and the development time is literally cut down to half.

The ease with which I can automate a large number of processes is quite useful and practical, especially since it allows me to optimize a large number of tasks and processes within my company in a fairly simple and simple way, the fact that It can easily integrate with other applications, it is also quite useful when using this application, its ease of use is very impressive, however complex the task may seem, you can be sure that Workato will simplify things for you in a way pretty straightforward
What do you dislike about the product?
Learning is not easy at all, in fact to learn how to use Workato requires a lot, A LOT of practice, so I think it would not be bad if the customer service team could make this process a bit more didactic and simple It takes too long to respond to any type of question or request, something that in practice can delay us for a long time in the execution of our activities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In my company we decided to use it to automate and simplify a large number of processes that were carried out manually and that consumed a large amount of time and resources within the work and Workato has allowed us to simplify them to their smallest expression, allowing us to carry out a more tasks in less time, thus increasing efficiency and productivity within the office.

Workato is a really good integration tool - you can integrate with slack to automate some of your manual tasks
What do you dislike about the product?
Not very intuitive - still require a minimum knowledge in coding

What do you like best about the product?
Already in-built integrations using APIs for various SAAS application. Developers just need to know what field to use and can built an integration within few hours or a day. Custom integration that takes days or months can now be done in few hours or a day.
What do you dislike about the product?
Developer need to have good knowledge on API fields of the application to be integrated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Service Now and JIRA integration; Deactivating DocuSign accounts.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try it out to decide if it is a good fit or not. for the use case, decide a medium complexity one.
integration to QB - super easy!
What do you like best about the product?
user interface - extremely easy - even for non IT guy like me.
What do you dislike about the product?
very hard to find 3rd party vendors in Israel

integration from SF to QB. super easy and saves a lot of time to our finance department.
Infusionsoft and Quickbooks Online Sync
What do you like best about the product?
Removes double-entry between applications (once recipes are setup and, when they work).
What do you dislike about the product?
Not plug-and-play between two very popular and widely used applications (Infusionsoft and Quickbooks Online). Expensive for limited functionality (in my opinion) for a company of our size (5 employees). Too time consuming for me to learn and create recipes on my own, even with the free webinars.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Has eliminated some double-entry by creating new customers in Infusionsoft automatically when they are first created in Quickbooks Online.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do your homework. Someone with 1) a simpler Quickbooks Online configuration, 2) more time to learn and implement configuration of the Workato recipes, 3) more experience with this type of programming and a bigger budget for overhead could do a lot with this software. We use job #'s as sub-clients of the parent (actual client) and have some clients with multiple businesses and/ or multiple properties and this created a ton of challenges in the setup to avoid duplicates coming over from Quickbooks Online into Infusionsoft. So much so that we shelved the majority of cross-program functionality for now to focus on other things, thus we are only experiencing a small fraction of the integration possible. BTW: We are an Electrical and General Contracting Business.
