Great Customer Success!!

What do you like best about the product?
I liked working with my account manager and his team they were extremely knowledgeable and process oriented. They helped with the issues that we were facing but also gave great insight and solutions.
What do you dislike about the product?
The support that is received through the chatbot is very poor. We had to contact our account manager who takes better care of our inquiries.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have streamlined a process of getting information from JIRA into SFDC and information between NS and SFDC.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Compare to the competition its the easiest product to use with the best price point and best service.

Great IPAAS

What do you like best about the product?
Their team is eager to help with all projects. This makes up for anything currently lacking. Their available connections fit with our current stack.
What do you dislike about the product?
Connections are limited, and not as intuitive as I would like. Often have to contact support to understand, but they are very helpful. Out of the box triggers are not always what I want.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Building secure stable automation and integration. Taking repeated processes and make them code instead of people's time. Also, taking decisions and processes and moving them into another tool like Slack for decisions instead of having to context switch into the app.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Check their exiting connections catalog and see if it fits your stack

Workato has helped us be able to sync our two CRM's with very minimal issues! We love it!

What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that the customer service is very friendly and are willing to help as much as needed!
What do you dislike about the product?
There are still some issues with syncing, not nearly as many as before, which require an additional fee to fix.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have two CRMs that are supposed match when auditing our client's accounts. Workato has helped tremendously when making sure payments are syncing to both CRMs when they are applied! It really helps making our audits easier and quicker!

Simply An iPaaS/Integration Powerhouse!

What do you like best about the product?
Recipes feel structured like code (if blocks, loops, try/catch), but are super accesible from any skill set. POCs for integrations can be built out and tested within minutes, often in the meeting they are being conceptualized.

A huge library of preconfigured connectors for Enterprise apps, but the HTTP connector is robust as well for most APIs.

The ability to actually build logic around errors istead of tossing everything into the same bucket makes intergration management more effective and less tidious.

Every other week or so we find ourselves discovering something else that expands what we can do with Workato (SQL tables on the fly, ability to use customer code in recipes, etc).
What do you dislike about the product?
No major complaints. Would love to have a bit more flexiblity with how to mark an error resolved, a simple 'resolved' flag instead of having to rerun a job to clear out the queue would be great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Integrating Salesforce, Netsuite, Slack, Okta, S3, Jira, Slack, ServiceNow, Custom Endpoints, the list goes on. Pretty much have been able to point what we want to where we want with no major hurdles.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
We were able to knockout, migrate and improve ~100 integration (recipes involving numerous branches of logic) from a prior iPaaS solution to Workato in just 2 months, which I think this is a pretty solid benchmark for how intuative and flexible Workato is. The platform allows you to be super nible and broad with your integrations, with the ability to build them out in hours not months.

Very valuable integration tool

What do you like best about the product?
Workato greatly simplifies the problem of integrating disparate SaaS applications. Without Workato, some of the integrations such as integrating a Slack bot with Jira and Service Now would have taken days. We were able to get it done with Workato within a day.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a bit of a learning curve initially on how to use the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our typical use cases revolve around integrating multiple SaaS apps using Workato. We have greatly benefitted from time savings - sometimes to the extent of 90% as compared to having a developer code the same. Workato has pre-built connectors for most of the commonly used SaaS apps, so that saves us a big headache on some complex connection steps such as giving OAuth access through code.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I don't know of any other integration tool that simplifies the integration of SaaS applications like Workato.

Workato makes it easy to integrate our applications and allow for seamless operational and security automation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Documentation. It would be great to see more detailed examples.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are working to easily integrate multiple vendors and automate our business processes. Workato creates an intuitive way of getting this done.

Powerful platform with consumer app like user experience

  • February 28, 2018
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Workato supports a variety of use cases including bulk data, app integration, automation workflows, API gateways, and chat based enterprise bots. Also, the focus on ease of use means less technical resources can use the platform.

On top of the 200 applications Workato supports, Workato provides two SDKs, a Java based SDK for on-prem connector development, and a Ruby based one for cloud connectors. Workato also supports connectivity to a variety of databases, files, messaging systems and REST endpoints.

Workato has spent a lot of time developing operational capabilities to make it easier to detect and recover from failures. The Workato recipes ops connector facilitates automation of a variety of runtime operations e.g. auto rerun when a job fails with a specific exception.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing specific. It's great to see the product evolve rapidly, especially with regard to on-prem capabilities. Their customer success teams are great to work with
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I would recommend Workato as a essential component for digital transformations. They are typically large enterprises looking to address data integration, workflow automation involving central IT and LOBs. Workato lends itself well to starting small, and growing rapidly from there.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a product that is better experienced. Would recommend to focus on building real world use cases as part of the evaluation process,

Easy, extensible integration

What do you like best about the product?
Worked well for the simple use cases. After trying for few months realized that I can use the service for advanced use cases too.
What do you dislike about the product?
Took a while to figure out how to use HTTP connector. Documentation is sparse.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
DevOps workflow.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Start with A to B sync use cases. I found additional uses after the initial success. Now I am considering the product for approval workflows and on-prem data sync use cases.

Proof of Concept with real life use cases

  • February 26, 2018
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Workato built out our use cases ready for immediate conversion to production (90% ready for PRD deployment - missing 10% for support processes) as part of the Proof of Concept.
What do you dislike about the product?
None so far. They have been very cooperative.
If Workato can improve its portal for external API Developer's self service portal and API usage monitoring clients would not have use Workato in conjunction with an API Gateway product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ease of integration coupled with BPM workflow for exception processing.
Benefits to realize:
1) Integration with Json messages instead of converting Json to XML to perform transformation with existing middleware
2) API orchestration to perform several API calls and trigger workflow when exceptions occurs
3) Pair messages before processing orders.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Integration with exception handling can only be accomplished with BPM workflow. Our Integration hub with Workato is only stronger because of workflow exception processing.
