Regional Director of Business Development
What do you like best about the product?
ZoomInfo offers business development information on companies that other tools and competitors of Zoom just do not have. The information has been very accurate and it has made an immediate impact on our business based on the information we were able to gather from the tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see a license with unlimited access and ability to download unlimited information.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are uncovering key contacts we did not know existed in our current accounts. We have had an immediate return on our investment.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't hesitate, it will add an immediate impact to your business and help you uncover contacts you did not know existed in your best accounts.

All the information you could need in an easily searchable fashion backed by great people!
What do you like best about the product?
ZoomInfo is very intuitive and really lets you dive into the nitty gritty of any info you may need. Most of all, I appreciate that I can trust it. From what I can tell, the data is really up to date and the suppression of my content really works (we've had issues with other data platforms in the past).
What more could you want? Oh, that's right: great support. Ya, they have that too!

What do you dislike about the product?
I had a little trouble getting things rolling, but that was mainly due to my specific use case. After a few meetings with the great folks at ZoomInfo I was having no trouble at all.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are mainly using ZoomInfo for data acquisition. As we migrate towards more of an ABM approach, getting the right people is everything. ZoomInfo helps us to ensure we are reaching all the appropriate targets we are looking for without wasting our time with others.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
They provide a very generous trial period. Dive in and do your research. Make sure that they have what you are looking for.

What do you like best about the product?
I have found that it has the most accurate info - including emails/phone numbers/ addresses etc... I like the chart function for people within a company
What do you dislike about the product?
Dont' give an error message when a company is not part of your subscription. It looks like the tool is broken. Maybe even include a small number of commercial inquiries 50-100 when you are an enterprise subscriber

intel into target companies and potential prospects. THis is primarily used for info only for me.

If you service both mid-level and enterprise, you need separate licenses
A Perfect Resource for Client Base Building
What do you like best about the product?
ZoomInfo is a clear, concise tool that makes connecting with prospective clients easy and accurate.
What do you dislike about the product?
When searching for a client's network, I wish there were a way to know how direct the client's contact is with the people in their network (e.g.. are the people in their network from a mass email or have they contacted this person directly, and therefore have a stronger connection with them?)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My team uses referral-based client building. ZoomInfo helps us to locate these referrals, obtain their contact information and learn more about them so that once we approach those prospects, we are well equipped with the right information.

ZoomInfo is a wonderful tool; I recommend it to all businesses.

What do you like best about the product?
User friendly. Easy to implement. I highly recommend. Anyone who is looking to increase their professional network should use ZoomInfo. The best part about this company is that they do a really good job. They've never let me down in the past, and I doubt they are going to let me down in the future. I will probably continue to use zoominfo for as long as I am physically capable of doing so. Other people in my office love it also.
What do you dislike about the product?
There really isn't anything that I dislike. I'm trying to rack my brain for things that I dislike but I can't think of any. The website is good. It's easy to use. My friends have told me that they really like it. I've made a bunch of new connections thanks to this awesome service. I look forward to using it for the rest of my life.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Networking is so easy. I am able to build my book of business much more organically.

Definitely implement! You'll be glad that you did. I used to not have it, but now I do have it. Having it is better than not having it. If you're thinking about having it, you should. It makes your life so much easier. I promise. Take it from someone who would know. It's great. Ashley Shultz is also really good at her job, which makes things a lot better too.

ZoomInfo is incredibly easy to use and the data mostly reliable. The list building function is very useful, and the Salesforce.com plugin is great. The price point is right on compared to other similar services.
My team and I use Zoom on nearly a daily basis when new leads come in for validating data and adding additional data points to build out the profiles. This is very easy to do and allows us to make higher rates of contact with new prospects due to finding better email addresses and additional phone numbers. Being able to assess the company profile information also helps us to identify the best prospects and use our time most productively.
ZoomInfo is our go to tool for classifying leads by various categories, including size, geography, and industry. Also, being able to build lists using these same criteria has allow us to hone in on our ideal prospects and get in front of the best customers.

Like any database, some of the data gets out of date and the rate at which it is cleaned up is less than ideal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
List building is very easy with ZoomInfo and we are able to filter against our current database and lists we have previously pulled. The data appending feature is very useful as well, and the inline Salesforce.com integration makes it incredibly easy to use. Searching for additional contacts at target organizations is also an invaluable benefit.

You won't find a better service when comparing price and data quality.

What do you like best about the product?
In addition to contacts, you have access to additional information on some profiles that may not be available generally, intent and scoops are new features that can be leveraged
What do you dislike about the product?
Almost 30% of the email addresses were found to be incorrect. this is out of a database of about 5000... also job changes are not tagged while the same is updated on LinkedIn
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a good b2b database for me to cover procurement professionals globally. This helped in the US market not so much for the other regions.

What do you dislike about the product?
Reliability: I have "purchased" a significant amount of contacts from Zoom that, when I spoke with folks within that particular organization, found that they had not been with the company for a considerable amount of time. While those purchases are credited on the back end, there is a LOT of work on my part gathering the information and reporting it back to my marketing manager. There is no reporting mechanism in the tool to mark a contact as "no longer with the organization," our "email bounce," etc. This squeezes valuable time out of my schedule that would be more productive spent on dialing.
Another thing that I find bothersome is that it appears that once Zoom is given information that a contact is either no longer working there or that there is a bad email, they simply remove the contact's email and leave the name in the system connecting it to the company so there is no way to differentiate from a contact that they have identified but do not have a current email address for from those who are no longer with the organization.
Customer Service/Support: Lack of customer support for the end user is another dislike.

Business problem looking to solve is identifying prospective clients that have technology responsibilities in the area of technology that we serve.
While I have found some contacts via Zoom, the business benefit has been minimal in that regard considering that Zoom is a paid service.

While I do realize that Zoom is a lower-tier product and that it is priced accordingly, I believe that it is always wise to consider that you get what you pay for. In a competitive market, quality and reliability of data is everything. Spending more on a superior product will more than make up for the initial investment in both your employee's time and your sales pipeline.
