What do you like best about the product?
The UI is very refreshing and colorful. It portrays a modern look and is very interesting to browse.
The monitoring alerts are helpful to resolve issues on time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some names could be quite confusing unless we have full knowledge of all the instances listed.
A document to read everything with simple yet understandable details could help new users understand better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We deal with store operations, and we often get Instana alerts that ensure that our production services are stable.
We also use the frequency results for our reports in our internal meetings to analyze and take necessary decisions to improve the statistics.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The Instana website is very interesting to browse and if you have time to kill, you can discover and learn many new topics.
It is also a good idea to ask someone who has worked and used Instana to understand the instances to a greater extent.
Instana can definitely be used to learn trends/frequencies and especially to monitor our services. It's very useful to be prepared in advance for any technical failures.

I like best the GUI and the correlation between different measurement endpoints.

If I used Instana for the first time I had initial "onboarding problems"

What do you like best about the product?
Everything we can monitor in one software. Applications, websites, Kubernetes, infrastructure, etc. It's awsome
What do you dislike about the product?
Old data is difficult to load(3-4 months old data)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I will get the exception messages and parameters related to the call. It is helpful for debugging

What do you like best about the product?
How easy is it to find all metrics I need to evaluate across our infrastructure
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it is a little bit complicated to find the correct resource that is causing issues, especially in k8s

The hassle to evaluate the performance of our applications using Instana makes it easier to view performance metrics and take actions if necessary

What do you like best about the product?
Best UI Expirience - Easy to monotor the performance of application in one view. Easy to manage db query, traffic , latency in one view.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, it fails in our system. It doesnt agregate all the call count over API. So makes difficult to calculate latency over all the calls.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To Track all the performance of the application.

Sometimes it's not easy to come back to the flow. If I find an error and I would to see all flow and come back to the first page I have to do all the flow
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Instana log all call of my software and I use it to find errors in call and to see the flow of the calls

What do you like best about the product?
Performance management -- Instana provides great insights on the application performance, helps track each request independently, and helps figure out any service errors that might occur.
What do you dislike about the product?
Instana can do better in terms of providing holistic insights in terms of service improvement (Let's say RDS level info to identify the most expensive queries) or providing better weekly updates on overall application health.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Alerts for service outages/increase in errors.
Deep diving into any errors to figure out what failed.
