A customizable experience through Salesforce
What do you like best about the product?
I find the engagement plans very helpful; I'm not a "sales person" but I work with customers and stakeholders who have many unique needs. Engagement plans and other Sales cloud techniques help me respond to this uniqueness.
What do you dislike about the product?
This may be user error, but I struggle to use the Sales experience with all members of my team. For instance, if a few members of my team need some information while others need to use contact/account/etc records in a different way, the account and contact records get bloated with a lot of fields that only apply to a few specific people. I'm sure there's some sort of permissions set up we could use but I am not an admin so I don't know!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work with people with varying needs, schedules, modes of preferred conversation, etc - and sales cloud allows me to have a customized experience to document all of those needs and keep my to-do list straight. Additionally, using sales cloud and other salesforce features allows me to work with new members of my team to provide feedback and insight in the case record itself, allowing for less of the dreaded "wait, where did you say that again?" conversations. It also leads to transparency on the team, knowing that my feedback could be seen by anyone else on the team.

What do you like best about the product?
it is a highly adaptable and user-friendly platform with good interfaces, SQL queries, easy-to-use reporting, flexible workflows, an Oracle database, and effective customer relationship management features.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smaller businesses may struggle with justifying the cost and effort of using Salesforce due to challenges in component setup, heavy reliance on coding, limited cloud size causing delays, lack of free Google Calendar integration, steep learning curve, and need for improvement in user interface and search function
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
it enables my company to manage leads, sales funnel, customer interactions, opportunities, and orders, while also providing communication tools, dashboard creation, and daily activity tracking.
Good Software But Could Be Better
What do you like best about the product?
This CRM is great for following up on leads in that it is easy to log calls and schedule callback reminders.
What do you dislike about the product?
Every time there is an update, it seems like the work flow gets thrown off just a tad.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is solving the issue of having to remember and calendar a bunch and keep track of leads.
Powerful CRM tool
What do you like best about the product?
Sales cloud provides 360 degree view of business with lot of automation framework readily available with a scope for customization.
What do you dislike about the product?
Couple of functionalities are very rigid, for some small features unnecessary need to spend time which could have been offered as a standard feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Binding all data together for various departments, one platform for CRM.
Durable platform that requires good data governance
What do you like best about the product?
It's an Amazingly customizable platform but it requires good data governance. It's critical that the sales people to use the tool without allowing them to edit the data
What do you dislike about the product?
The high learning curve and the need for a Salesforce architect to set it up. If there could be a simpler solution for smaller business this would help spur adoption.

Helping us house our customer information in one spot. It is the system of record for this data and feeds the erp and reporting platforms

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to organize revenue and possible engagement plans with certain partners and contacts allow for a large range of possibilities. These possibilities can go as far as your own imagination allows you to.
What do you dislike about the product?
My dislikes as a Salesforce Admin Is more around not knowing what tools I can use. This may be from an ever growing experience in my role. But it's sometimes hard to see what options are there for me in the sales cloud to make a process better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Information being kept in one place. Multiple roles and staff read one record but take away different layouts of Information.
Processes are also in place to allow for multiple paths to be automated for any next best action.

Using Sales cloud increase potential sales of the collamy through Leads , Opportunities, Activities reports and dashboards .

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sales cloud takes lot of burden from Sales Rep and so he can focus on purely on his Sales skill

What do you like best about the product?
The scalability and customization of the product allows us to implement the platform in a way that meets all internal needs as well as the external needs of our clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would say that a downside is the difficulty estimating and managing resource usage. Resources being license count, storage limits, apu limits, etc. Most of the time, we notice the lack of resources when they have already been depleted.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our Sales process is all supported vy Salesforce CRM. From initial prospecting of leads, to the close of the deal, all of our processes are tracked in Salesforce and we are able to audit and report on the data with ease.
Solid Platform not for beginners
What do you like best about the product?
The customizability is fantastic and the learning resources that can be found online truely empower the users to make the most out of the platform. The ability to make the platform do what you want is just a few hours of work away.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is very complicated for a first time user. Implementation is difficult without a thorough understanding of the platform so there is a learning period for all users that is essential but may not be easy for businesses to prioritize.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a CRM, it allows us to connect with a national donor base that is highly engaged at the local level. Information tracking and reporting of donations using NPSP has been very helpful.
Recently started using Salesforce Sales Cloud Suite after leaving HubSpot.
What do you like best about the product?
Unfortunately, at the moment, I have not found any significant upsides to using Salesforce Sales Cloud Suite over HubSpot. Salesforce seems to be very convoluted and different to navigate. I understand I am dealing with a learning curve. Hopefully, I will get the hang of it better after a few more weeks.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am disappointed that the complex settings make adjusting something so difficult. I feel a big downside is when viewing lists, you can never see a total number unless you keep scrolling to the bottom. Another big downside is when looking at opportunities in khanban view you can only see X amount of deals.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking all in one central location for convenience and simplicity. The reporting capability should be nice once we figure out how to set them up and manage our data.
