AI agents and workflow flexibility have optimized business processes and saved hours of manual work
What is our primary use case?
What is most valuable?
The best features n8n provides, from my perspective, are the AI agent it offers and the versatility it has regarding workflows.
The AI agents make the job really easy for me; sometimes I have to put logic in place, but with AI I can create those advanced logics and then simply create any AI agent or AI bot that can help optimize my workflows for whatever business I'm doing.
n8n's user-friendly interface has a great effect on my team's workflow efficiency; it's easy to use, easy to understand, everything is pretty straightforward, and it's easy to learn. My team has been able to pick up n8n pretty easily.
n8n connects with almost all of the apps that people use, such as CRMs, project management tools, and accounting tools. Even if it doesn't connect, it provides a great option to copy the curl APIs directly into n8n and use those, so I would say it's pretty versatile in terms of connecting with different platforms.
The connectors in n8n have improved our KPIs and saved us many hours of manual work.
n8n has saved around 20 plus hours a week and has made our internal workflows efficient, removing errors by 100%. In terms of optimizing the business, I would say our internal processes have improved by 40-45%.
What needs improvement?
I would improve the conditions feature in n8n; right now, if I'm using a switch node, I cannot have multiple conditions in there, so I would really like that feature where I can put or conditions in a single condition. That would be a really cool feature to have.
If n8n could provide more details on the errors that come in while I'm running a workflow, that could be a cool feature.
The only concerns would be the conditions feature and if we could see errors or a live execution, that would be really good because Zapier and make.com have those where I can see a live execution going on. If n8n could have that feature, it could really improve troubleshooting errors in workflows.
For how long have I used the solution?
I've been working with n8n for two and a half years now.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
I don't think I've had any crashes or downtimes with n8n.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
n8n is definitely scalable.
How are customer service and support?
In my experience, I haven't found any problem that requires me to forward to tech support; the community of n8n is a really big help, and I can find anything on the community platform.
How would you rate customer service and support?
How was the initial setup?
Setting up n8n is pretty straightforward; there are no complex things, and even a beginner can set it up on the very first try.
What was our ROI?
I have seen the ROI, the return on investment or cost-effectiveness with n8n.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
I'm pretty satisfied with the pricing for n8n; they also have the self-hosting plan, and that really is a good thing.
What other advice do I have?
Data privacy is really important; it's a really great feature in n8n that I can easily store all of my data, even my APIs and data that I do not want to see on the front end, so that's a really good feature.
I have seen a lot of improvements over the years regarding data management with n8n; I would say it has improved over 30% compared to a year or six months ago.
I would say organizations should at least try n8n; even though it directly connects with fewer apps than Zapier, it's a great tool that really improves internal workflows. It's easy to set up, and they should give a try to the AI agent n8n has, along with the MCP features it has introduced, as those are really great features and better than the other tools out there.
I have given this review a rating of 8.5.
