The most powerful automation platform
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to integrate AI is far superior to make.com or Zapier.
What do you dislike about the product?
UI can be a bit more intimidating at first compared to the other platforms that have hidden all code an have cute cuddly UIs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Has taken away a lot of manual work which is a game changer for our companies.
N8N has transformed how I work
What do you like best about the product?
The posibilites really are endless with N8N, if you can do it in a browser then you can probably automate it with N8N. As a marketer the learning curve was quite steep but I've learnt a lot about integrations and APIs which translates to my other work. The UI is nice and clean and the pricing plans are very economical. Tasks that used to take hours to do manually can now be completed with automations.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learing curve is very steep if you're not technical and the support channels are mostly catered towards devs but asking an LLM normally gets the job done.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automating recurring browser based tasks and improving process workflows by integrating existing systems with AI for human in the loop process efficiency gains.

2/ pretty tech-heavy for newbies, not suitable to start in the space for non-tech person
3/ docs aren't thorough enough, need to search the community forum a lot

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I started in no-/low-code automation with Zapier around 18 months ago. Quickly swithed to Make.com. Havent had any previous coding experience - just some JS/python tutorials from youtube. Now with self-hosted n8n I do things, which would cost thousands on Make.com, and tens of thousdands on Zapier (if possible at all). My workflows perform millions of operations every month.
pros/cons balance makes it great product
pros/cons balance makes it great product
My experience is short but intense. It is the best automation platform I have ever used.
What do you like best about the product?
Whenever I need anything done in any way, n8n handles it. It has many features, it's easy to use and if I need something really customized, I have that option. Customer support has been excellent so far. I plan to use n8n more and more often. Most of the time the integration is easy, but sometimes the difficulty comes more in imagining how the data should flow.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's easy to deploy in Docker and not so easy to run queue mode with a Postgres database. I think this is something that a beginner with no devops experience will find hard to master. Some features are not so obvious, such as paging on HTTP requests. Or error messages if something goes wrong, for example with the Code node.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saves time. Proof of concept is quickly created, making it very easy to verify viability and some return on investment. At work we use n8n for data manipulation. For personal use, I use n8n mainly to offload tedious tasks like filling in spreadsheets with data from email. I plan to use n8n to learn more about LM and LLM.
Absolutely the no-1 go-to product for creating automated workflows

- Ability to use Javascript to work with data is HUGE, many platforms fail to provide this crucial developer tool.
- Very active and helpful community .
- Well documented & has templates for starters.
- Easy to use and to debug thanks to total execution history (being able to copy the exact execution data and replay it is another huge benefit).
- Open-source, easy to host and very manageable to build custom nodes.

The great thing about n8n is that it keeps improving over time, and its potential is only limited by your imagination.

Backend automation plays a crucial role in my daily operations. In a nutshell, it saves me hours of tasks that would have been done manually.
