Seamless SSO Integration with Great Support, but Needs Better Cloud Documentation
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy using the SSO applications because they allow us to centralize logins across the various platforms and cloud providers we rely on. Implementation is quite straightforward, and integration with our existing infrastructure is quick and seamless. We use it daily at work, and the wide range of features makes managing our different devices much easier. Additionally, the support provided is very good whenever any issues come up.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a DevOps engineer, I find that the documentation for the various implementations and integrations can sometimes be insufficient, especially regarding certain cloud integrations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were looking for a tool that could address the various challenges we faced, such as device management, SSO, user groups, IAM, and password management.
Great Device Management, But macOS Update Issues Are Frustrating
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to bind users to devices as well as policy
What do you dislike about the product?
macOS update feature is not good, and constantly prompts for updates on fully updated machines. This is a serious deal breaker. Also dislike users not being able to have just one password from their Azure account to manage their mac

mac management
Exactly What We Needed to Simplify Access and Security
What do you like best about the product?
I love how JumpCloud makes everything seamless, from logging in to managing access across different tools. While I’m not on the IT side, I can see how much time it saves our team and how easy it is for new employees or clients to get started securely. It’s a platform that just works quietly in the background, keeping things secure without getting in the way. That’s a huge win for both us and the clients I recommend it to.
What do you dislike about the product?
There’s not much to dislike, but if I had to pick something, it would be that mobile device management still feels a bit limited compared to desktop controls. Our team and clients are increasingly mobile, so having more flexibility and visibility on phones and tablets would make JumpCloud even better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud helps us simplify identity and device management across our team and clients. It makes onboarding and offboarding fast, keeps access consistent, and removes the hassle of juggling passwords. From a sales perspective, it’s great to know the solution we use internally also helps our clients close those same security gaps. It saves time, reduces risk, and keeps everyone connected securely, which is exactly what we preach at Bright Defense.
Unified Endpoint Visibility, But Remote Assist Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
Allows our organization to see all endpoints (regardless of OS) through a single pane of glass.
What do you dislike about the product?
Remote Assist is unreliable in my experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud solved our reliance on traditional Active Directory. Our goal was to get away from that design and JumpCloud allowed us to do that.
Excellent Cross-Platform Support, But Decryption Key Access Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
It works on all types of systems. Whether you have a Mac, Windows, or Linux, it will function on each of them. Its ability to operate across different platforms is a unique feature compared to others.
What do you dislike about the product?
Apart from the many good features, I have one issue. One of my systems is disk encrypted, and I am unable to locate the decryption key for that particular system. I believe this is a glitch, and it is concerning because if I remove the disk from the system and attach it to another, it will prompt for the decryption key. At that point, if the key is not available in the admin console, it becomes a real headache for IT, especially since the disk contains important data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps you manage all your systems on a single cloud platform, allowing you to organize everything according to your specific requirements.
A Powerful All-in-One Platform for Identity and Device Management
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about JumpCloud is how it simplifies and centralizes identity and device management. The platform gives IT teams the ability to manage users, access, and devices across multiple operating systems and applications from one place — without needing to maintain on-prem infrastructure like Active Directory. I also really appreciate the company’s open, cloud-native approach and strong focus on security and usability for both admins and end users.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn’t much to dislike, but one area I think could be improved is the learning curve for new administrators. JumpCloud offers a powerful, feature-rich platform, but because it touches so many areas—identity, access, device management, security—it can take some time to fully master all of its capabilities.
That said, I see this as an opportunity rather than a drawback, because the documentation and community support are strong, and the product continues to evolve quickly.
That said, I see this as an opportunity rather than a drawback, because the documentation and community support are strong, and the product continues to evolve quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
umpCloud is solving the problem of fragmented identity and device management. Instead of relying on multiple tools for authentication, access control, and device policies, JumpCloud unifies everything into a single cloud-based platform. This centralization simplifies administration, reduces security risks, and saves our IT team a lot of time managing users across macOS, Windows, and Linux devices. The ability to enforce Zero Trust security principles without needing on-prem infrastructure like Active Directory has been a huge benefit.
