JumpCloud Review
What do you like best about the product?
Working for a 100% remote company that utilizes Google Workspace but does not manage its devices using Google Workspace, I've fallen in love with JumpCloud's ability to manage devices and software. I can manage my devices and policies using JumpCloud giving me management capabilities that we did not have before.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that the PatchMangement was more than just policies, it would be so much better if we could mange the patches granularly instead of just a policy saying on or off, all or nothing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In a non-Microsoft environment, I am able to manage my users and devices from a single, robust, application.

The complete cloud directory service suite
What do you like best about the product?
Integration with computers via an easy to install client agent that is compatible with all three major Windows/Mac/Linux OSes.
Other integrated features are helpful such as: insight reports on devices and authentications, remote desktop, enterprise password manager.
Other integrated features are helpful such as: insight reports on devices and authentications, remote desktop, enterprise password manager.
What do you dislike about the product?
Their password management app isn't great, yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Main purpose is to use as the primary cloud directory, for both end-user devices and cloud services, syncing passwords among major services like Google Workspace.
Pretty Good, but room for improvement
What do you like best about the product?
ease of user management with computers and account management
What do you dislike about the product?
using the admin console on iOS. It is basically unusable and very often we need to unlock an account or reset a password when we are on the go, but cannot because the console does not translate well on mobile. So we are forced to make the users wait until we gain access to a computer and log in.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Password management, but wish the MDM was a bit more intuitive as it would be game changer if it was usable. We use Jamf for our macs and if Jumpcloud was closer to that level of detail, we could use it for our Windows environment.
Your Authentication mechanism is the best bar none and your password manager is fubared
What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity of the Authentication mechanism both in their use and configuration
What do you dislike about the product?
Your password manager is major failure as far as I can tell we almost lost a client because of it
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A single point of truth for all my identification needs
Jumpcloud's single sign on and MDM solution are a great feature and easy to configure.
What do you like best about the product?
JumpCloud’s Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution is recognized as a smarter, cloud-based directory2. It’s appreciated for its ability to streamline user access across all resources, including cloud infrastructure and Mac and Windows machines2, and JumpCloud’s Single Sign-On (SSO) feature is highly praised for its ability to improve user experience by reducing password-related issues and enhancing productivity
What do you dislike about the product?
what i dislike about jumpcloud is they should provide trainings and documentation should be more simple.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
making secuirty strong and enhancing it with mobile device management and by single sign on reducing the password related issues and enhancing the productivity.
Jumpcloud allows our company to address IT challenges without the overhead
What do you like best about the product?
We started with Jumpcloud about a year and a half ago and our environemnt started with no AD servers or traditional IT infrastructure. Jumpcloud has been able to address our growing needs of SSO and device management without the physical barriers that come with traditional infrastructure in order to be compliant, secure, and efficient. Honestly one of the better products I have used in the identity management space.
What do you dislike about the product?
Scaling with price can be a bit of a challenge if your organization continues to grow. I hope that there can be stronger price breaks when the company scales at a certain range so that IT costs can be more controlled. This is not a problem with just Jumpcloud, but all SaaS so its not much to complain about.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Identity management, Device management, SSO - these are all areas where Jumpcloud allows us to be extremely flexible.
Solid tool that does many things
What do you like best about the product?
It's really nice to have all information on users and devices in one place rather than scattered between several platforms. Specifically, we leverage JumpCloud to manage user access to our org, app access, device access, patch management, and for screensharing. If you're looking to reduce spend or have a team that's less familiar with
What do you dislike about the product?
While JumpCloud can do a myriad of things well, it's not particularly great at any one thing. That's not to say that it's bad at anything so much as there's a few limitations. Many of the most common platforms in the industry don't have supported integrations for managing users with JumpCloud. Also, some functions on the MDM side are a tad inconsistent. Specifically, we've had trouble with the screenshare or device locking working consistently for all devices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud is our one stop shop for managing user and device access. It's benefitting us by allowing us to operate as a remote-first company without physical access to users or devices.
Easy & Understanable
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about jumpcloud is its UI, Its very easy to navigate to what I need done and easy to understand wha teach thing does. I use Jump cloud alot to support others in my company so they have be really easy to support them with this service
What do you dislike about the product?
New Fetures are often buggy and may not work fully.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping Our remote workers, I use jumpclouds remote device the most to help people that may be having computing troubles remotley.
Really good IdP and Device Manager
What do you like best about the product?
The best IdPs are really best, but you probably won't need 50% of their features. JumpCloud is a basic plus IdP, that will give you 80%+ percent of what you really need. Adding the Device Manager on top of it, adds much more to it, starting from log-in to your devices using the same credentials, which helps the end-users choose a really strong password, but remember only this one.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI takes time to learn; the cost of almost the same as the more reobust IdPs (but you also get the Device Manager, as mentioned); some of the features feel less mature but still work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
IdP + Device Manager, focusing on the integration + allows to fine-tune the password policy, which Google Workspace, for instance, lacks!
JumpCloud creates nothing but ease
What do you like best about the product?
JumpCloud's multiple integrations with other vendors are seamless and easy to set up. A perfect 'one-stop shop' for user creation and management. JumpCloud implementation is very guided and easy whether it is a fresh on-boarding or even if you are migrating an exisiting on premise domain. JumpCloud's Customer Support are very responsive and knowledgable. The amount of features within JumpCloud seems endless. I use JumpCloud services frequently and always promote the service as very beneficial.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have yet to find a dislike of the JumpCloud platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The number one problem that JumpCloud is solving for me is the SSO integrations. We constantly have had issues with users keeping track of different passwords as many of our Clients use many different application. JumpCloud solves this with their seamless SSO integrations.
