Reliable SSO and Stellar Support, But Needs Better Global Performance

  • October 29, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
JumpCloud has been a reliable and efficient solution for managing SSO across all our applications. We especially appreciate its wide range of integrations with major apps and its strong device posture enforcement, which helps us maintain a secure environment. The platform’s support for Linux PCs is a big plus — most competitors fall short in that area, but JumpCloud stands out by providing seamless management and user access for Linux systems.

Their customer support is exceptional. We faced issues while integrating JumpCloud LDAP with SonicWall, and the JumpCloud team was extremely responsive and proactive in helping us troubleshoot and configure SonicWall properly — even when SonicWall’s own team was unresponsive. That level of commitment really builds confidence in the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
One area that could be improved is the global performance, especially when using real-time identity checks. In our organization—operating across India and the U.S.—we have onboarded NetBird ZTNA with JumpCloud as the IdP. The ZTNA solution validates each and every request against JumpCloud in real time. While the US-based users see acceptable latency, our users in India experience noticeably higher latency. For a system that performs frequent live authentication checks, this delay impacts the experience and could be improved through additional regional infrastructure or edge-deployment optimizations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud has unified identity and access management across our organization where employees use Linux, macOS, and Windows systems. With seamless integration to Google Workspace (Gsuite), users now have a single password for everything — from email to desktop login and SSO for all applications. Password rotations, onboarding, and offboarding have become significantly easier and more secure. This centralization has greatly reduced manual IT tasks and improved user experience across platforms.

Feature-Rich and Versatile, But Integration Support Needs Improvement

  • October 29, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
How it supports all devices, and has so many features packed into a single platform. Great alternative to Microsoft
What do you dislike about the product?
App support for integrations can be limited compared to something like Microsoft and Okta.

Also features can feel a bit incomplete.

Having to pay for a seperate pam solution
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Central management of devices, rmm, user management, SSO. So many features in a single solution.

Great Guidance Makes Setup Manageable, Even with SSO Challenges

  • October 29, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Jumpcloud has significantly strengthened our security and compliance. It brings together multiple services; including identity and access management, SSO, MFA and device management in one central platform. The SSO and MFA features have been particularly valuable in reducing credential-related risks, while automated provisioning and deprovisioning ensure that user access is promptly updated when people join, move roles, or leave the company. It will help us greatly for our SOC 2 type II compliance as it provides clear audit trails and policy enforcement.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not super easy to set up without a technical team member, the SSO connections have been proving to be a little tricky but that is due to the nature of the work and not necessarily Jumpcloud. I think Jumpcloud offers great guidance to help make this as easy as possible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is enabling us to show how we enforce our security policies which is important for compliance as well as being able to have more control over what employees can access

Revolutionized User Access with Seamless Google Workspace Integration

  • October 29, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
This solution has completely changed how we manage user access on our company devices. Its wide array of features enabled us to eliminate the need for AD and take full advantage of the Google Workspace integration. As a result, we no longer have to duplicate credentials, which made the overall implementation process much faster and easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although you only pay for what you use. It isn't always clear about when something you've enabled will add an additional charge to your account.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to work faster and more efficiently reducing the need for duplicate work. It also allows us to provide remote support very easily to colleges and push any changes or updates remotely.

Efficient User Management, But Needs Better Reporting and Lockout Controls

  • October 29, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about JumpCloud is how it actually makes user and device management feel manageable. Everything’s in one place — users, groups, policies, access — and it just saves time. I’ve used other tools that felt clunky or overcomplicated, but JumpCloud strikes a good balance between control and simplicity. The integrations with Google Workspace and MDM policies work smoothly, which is great for day-to-day IT operations.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike is that some parts of the platform still feel a bit limited once you get into the details. Reporting and visibility could be stronger, especially for tracking user activity or policy compliance. The MDM section is good but still missing a few advanced options. And the lockout policy thing is just annoying — we actually discussed it during our internal JumpCloud rollout project because it locks users out too aggressively, and even after resetting a computer, the lockout counter goes back to the original number instead of clearing properly. Changing or fine-tuning that behavior isn’t as straightforward as it should
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud helps us centralize user and device management across the company. Before that, we were juggling different tools for identity, MDM, and policy enforcement. Now everything — from onboarding new users to managing passwords, access, and patch policies — runs through one platform. It also helps keep compliance simpler because device status, user groups, and security policies are all visible in one place. Overall, it saves a lot of manual work and makes user lifecycle management much cleaner.

What do you dislike about the product?
