Simple Device Management
What do you like best about the product?
JumpCloud is a fairly straight forward tool. Most policy management is intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
The ability to 'easily' managed a large variety of Applications for MacOS is just not up to par with competitors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud is giving me basic control over a fleet of Macbooks.
Easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
I love how simple it can be to use. There are many different, more complex, capabilities available to use but doing the simple tasks couldn't be easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can feel overwhelming to have so many tools at your disposal and can become hard to navigate at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jumpcloud is allowing us to maintain our fleet in an orderly fashion while also proving us with the ability to connect our employees to our network via radius authentication. The ability to quickly assign or unassign users to devices has been a life saver on multiple occasions.

What do you like best about the product?
Jump cloud is a great alternative if you are not a windows shop
What do you dislike about the product?
the down side is the policies. A lot of them do not have the consistency that you would expect from your windows MDM which can be incrediby frustrating, forcing you to curate your own commands.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
currently it seems they are more focused on creating features than they are fixing ones in production
It's a very powerfull tool

Cloud Directory Service and more!
What do you like best about the product?
Jumpcloud is easy to set up, deploy, and maintain! As an MDM, it is a one stop shop for any devices you may have. It ties directly into most identity providers, meaning that you can consolidate accounts for your end users for ease of management. Their technical support team is very responsive, so if you have questions, you will get them answered.
What do you dislike about the product?
The tool tips in the UI aren't helpful for new users or non-technical users, so while it is easy to set up and maintain, users may be reliant on support to implement anything that is beyond the preconfigured policies, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud is helping us manage all of our devices (both Mac and Windows) in a single system, which speeds up support outcomes for our staff as well as improves the speed by which we can onboard new employees and devices.
Overall a great alternative to more expensive MDM solutions
