What do you like best about the product?
The product has a very intuitive and easy to use interface. Support is very quick to respond to any questions. We are able to very quickly add new users and devices which frees up valuable time for other tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can’t think of any of downsides, since we started using this product. It meets all of our needs and works as expected. The system functions as expected and JumpCloud consistently adds new functionality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ensuring security and single-sign-on for all of our laptops in use by our employees, as well as inventory control.

It’s easy to pull reports and install applications using the Power Shell features.

It makes managing remote laptops much easier.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It’s a great product. I highly recommend it.

Great for small and medium Companies.

What do you like best about the product?
They have a extremely fast support team !! Easy implementation, with few steps you can setup the configuration. A lot of features included for a a fair price. Easy SSO integration with several built-in apps. The application support both linux, Mac OS and Windows. For startups like us this is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
No helpfull dashboards and visualiations in the application. It is necessary export the data to generate charts. You will need to connect to they api in order to get those logs and generate reports and charts by yourself. The log format from the output is not much intuitive and does not follow any standard log format, you'll need some programming skills to perform a lookup for users in log events. They dont log events on the host operational system yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our main problem is How we can manage and support 3 different types of operational systems usind a single application. The application support both linux, Mac OS and Windows. It is great for small companies such us and for a fair price. Otherwises would have to use 3 different applications.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're looking for a cheap and very rich feature alternative to Active Directory , or even if you need a directory as a service that supports Linux, Mac Os and Windows Jump cloud is the best option for you.

Jumpcloud. The future of user and system directory management in the cloud

  • July 28, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love how jumpcloud is simple to understand, simple to configure, has the best support in the game, and is a company with big goals that they continue to own.
What do you dislike about the product?
No downsides to using it. Jumpcloud is innovating and doing something others don’t do. But if I had to critique something I would say I wish the mdm could also work with Apple business App Store accounts and push apple App Store apps and manage more things. It’s still new for jumpcloud so I’m sure this will come
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I’m able to quickly create and configure and sync accounts for a user new or existing and also associate them with a single or multiple devices. This helps with onboarding and also flows nicely as it’s all in the same ecosystem
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Looking for directory, user, and device management for 2020 where others are lacking and looking for something cloud based without having to manage a domain? Sign up now for jumpcloud!

An excellent way to consolidate multiple sign-ins

  • July 28, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The Jumpcloud interface makes it simple to grant and revoke credentials across various different services.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface loads strangely in some browsers. The system locks users out with little warning when passwords expire. User adoption can be a bear.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Jumpcloud mainly as a local identity provider, to allow us to manage MacOS users in lieu of using roaming profiles. We can create and delete local accounts across our fleet effortlessly with Jumpcloud.

What do you like best about the product?
I like Jumpcloud because it is easy to use and deploy to my existing environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
I hope in the future Jumpcloud becomes more affordable especially for high volume organizations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My users only have to remember one set of credentials and from an administration perspective, I only need to manage one account per user.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give it a try and you will be happy with what you can benefit from using the service.

Great identity management for small teams

  • July 28, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It’s a joy to be completely free of active directory where I can be. And offering a full featured suite for 10 or few users is a super classy move.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really do wish that they would upped their game with their included policies. But with the Ability to run Scripps on any device, it’s pretty easy to work around. But in no way This is a replacement for group policy. And I just don’t know enough about the Azure AD integration, but it would be wonderful to not have to renew the link every 90 days. That said most of my “problems” are nitpicking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My core usage for jump cloud is 10 to 15 user environments that would otherwise go without centralized identity management for a mixed fleets of Mac, Windows and Linux/NAS. I’ve never used another product that could fill that space with the same ease.

Best directory management system for today's technology

What do you like best about the product?
I love the provisioning of local accounts via the internet and how easy it is.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like more documentation on setting up a way in Jump Cloud (script) to add local network printers to machines automatically via jump cloud
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Working remotely is a breeze since we are not tied down to the user having to be onsite to accomplish tasks.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you would like to move your directory service to the cloud Jump Cloud is the way to go
