All-in-One User & Device Management Made Simple with JumpCloud

  • November 03, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
JumpCloud brings together user management and mobile device management in a single, user-friendly solution. Although the subject matter can be complex, I found the implementation process straightforward, and support was always accessible when required. JumpCloud adheres to all industry standards and offers integrations with major vendors. We rely on JumpCloud every day for logging into our computers.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the feature set is quite robust, occasionally we notice some features are missing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were looking for a way to manage MDM and have a centralized login system for our Macs, and JumpCloud has been able to deliver on both fronts.

Jumpcloud review

  • November 03, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that JumpCloud offers a single cloud-based platform to manage users, devices, and access across Windows, macOS and Linux. It simplifies operations while enhancing security through integrated SSO and MFA. Its cross-platform flexibility and centralised control make it ideal for modern hybrid work setups.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile device management (MDM) and reporting features are seen as less mature than dedicated tools in that space.(eg : knox)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Because our devices are in remote locations, the ability to restart, update apps, apply policies, monitor status from a central platform gives us better operational control, less downtime, fewer manual site-visits, and a standardized remote-device fleet.

Streamlined Mac Deployment, But Missing AD Domain Join

  • October 31, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like about Jumpcloud is how streamlined it is for my Mac users to be deployed, and to ensure MDM.

The password managing is fantastic and deploying of scripts to run in my environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not able to Domain Join to AD or even Hybrid Join. This feature is absolutely critical for us in our environment to have and is much needed.

This would be a tremendous feature to Add!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
MDM for my Mac environment and Password authority

User-Friendly Interface and Flexible Features, But Support and Documentation Need Improvement

  • October 31, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use, the interface and SAML onboarding is straightforward. I have been using the group attributes feature using JSON editor so I enjoy this flexibility too. I also like that this product is not a huge target for hackers (yet) so we feel more protected.
What do you dislike about the product?
Poor documentation; sufficient but lacking detail. Support has not been very helpful. Our team wants information on backup and failover routines and support has not been able to give straight answers. This is a huge issue for us. We ONLY use JC for our IdP source of truth and need high availability with backup or replication and any restore options have not been provided to date. This is so much of an issue we are considering discontinuance of the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JC is our main IdP and used to pass authentication, enforce MFA and cover our authorization routines with user groups.

Excellent Zero Trust Management, But Pricey

  • October 31, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Centralized zero-trust identity management is very user-intuitive and easy to implement.
We have been using it for the last 2 years, and boy, has it been handy. The customer support is also top-notch and very friendly.
There are also plenty of features, and one of my favorites is SSO.
What do you dislike about the product?
The costs for JumpCloud have been increasing day by day.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We initially wanted to use Jumpcloud to solve our identity access management issue for compliance, and it has successfully solved our needs

Centralized Management Made Easy, But Setup and Reporting Could Improve

  • October 31, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like JumpCloud because it provides centralized identity and device management, supports Windows, macOS, and Linux, and integrates smoothly with Google Workspace and Microsoft 365. It offers easy policy control, and has clear reporting and auditing all from one simple cloud-based console.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that JumpCloud can be complex to configure at first, some advanced features need higher plans, and policy deployment can take time to sync. Also, reporting options are limited compared to larger IAM tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud solves the problem of managing users, devices, and access across multiple systems and platforms. It helps by centralizing identity management, enforcing MFA and security policies, and integrating with Google Workspace and Microsoft 365. This saves time, improves security, and reduces the need for multiple admin tools.

Jumpcloud from an Administrator

  • October 30, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to manage users and client devices in a single action pane, the integration with other applications such as Microsoft's o365 was very instrumental in our use. Also being able to apply computer policies across the machines to make a cohesive experience for all users has been fantastic.
What do you dislike about the product?
Jumpcloud is always innovating which is excellent, But sometimes they have new features on the dashboard and the notifications continually pop up and are distracting to the admins. We have trialed a few pieces of the software and once the "trial" period is over there is a constant reminder that we are past due on it, Talk to our account rep and they said we are under the number of users and it was free to use, but the reminders keep popping up.

I think a more cohesive way to trial a product and then fall into the free category so that there isn't a constant pop up about paying for something that is free would be excellent.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Primary one is AD and just handling user creations and removal along with making sure everyone can login across workstations without having custom local logins, Also not having any server hardware on site that needs to be kept up to date or secured is fantastic.
