Effortless Asset Management and SSO, Minor Password Update Hiccups

  • October 27, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Jumpcloud has been a great help in managing our entire asset ecosystem. What stands out most to me is how easy it is to manage and access all our SSO-integrated applications from a single web console. This feature makes it much simpler for both myself and my users to avoid confusion when accessing different web apps, and it also supports us in maintaining a strong security posture.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not a major issue, but I did encounter some problems when trying to update my Jumpcloud user console password through the Jumpcloud user portal. Other than that, I haven't experienced any significant issues with Jumpcloud.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
During the SSO integration, we encountered some issues, but the Jumpsloud support team assisted us in resolving them, and now everything is functioning well. Previously, we struggled to manage our endpoints securely, such as handling passwords and enforcing policies. Now, it is much easier to manage everything from a single console.

JumpCloud Directory and MDM Review

  • October 27, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The simple interface, easy to navigate, tons of kb resources, ease of support and mostly onboarding and binding of policies can be reversed or re-implement quickly with little down time.

Daily review of device and user policies with immediate feedback are quite useful features. Integration and validtion with third party applications are quite universal and easy to understand.

Customer support is great and most questions are being addressed immediately with professionalism.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of granular controls for devices between Standard and Full Administrator users.

Unable to assign specific Win 11 user access rights to managed applications, where more access can be granted to Standard users to overcome UAC controls.

Lack of DLP controls to allow offline management of Mobile Devices (e.g. device to wipe after x number of failed logins)
Lack of feature to bind commands or setup login scripts (maybe not easy to find) during initial login/setup of domain devices .
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
IAM and Directory Services are seamless to access across Multi-Country, where it does not have any legacy limitations like WAN setup, Federated services, Clustering, Synchronisation and Resiliency issues.
Binding of devices to user is must easier managed via groups and individually
Combining JC built in MFA feature save alot of hassle of trying to implement 3rd party MFA which may take more time to integrate.
Enrolled and non-enrolled devices can allow both SSO and Non-SSO binding offers good variety of controls

Users and devices are easier to manage than ever with it.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use JumpCloud to manage user access every day across our mixed environment which are moslty macOS and a few Linux systems. I think the best part is being able to manage logins, device policies and MFA all in one spot without bouncing between multiple tools. I can get someone on-boarded in minutes and provide them with the right groups and I’m confident they’ll be able to access what they need securely.
What do you dislike about the product?
The admin console can sometimes feel a bit slow and clunky especially when I’m in there doing bulk updates or quickly checking logs. The reporting and audit trails could be a bit more intuitive as I have to click around a couple more times than I’d like to get the details that I want. And while the integrations are robust, some of the deeper configuration options are still tweak and try until you get it right.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prior to JumpCloud user access across disparate systems was a disaster and there were local accounts everywhere and far too many password resets. Now I have the ability to implement mfa, single sign on and uniform security policies across all devices and applications from a single dashboard.

Centralized, Secure, and User-Friendly Identity Management

  • October 26, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
This product offers centralized identity and access management, making it easier to control user permissions across the organization. Its device management capabilities are robust, contributing to a streamlined experience for both users and administrators. I find the platform easy to use, which enhances overall admin efficiency. Being cloud-native and vendor-neutral adds flexibility, while the zero trust and security features provide an extra layer of protection.
What do you dislike about the product?
Advanced security features and device management options are typically reserved for the more expensive, higher-tier plans. As your organization grows and you need to manage hundreds of users and devices, the costs can increase rapidly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Traditional directory services (like Active Directory) often require on-prem servers, complex infrastructure, and may not support modern cloud/devices well.
With JumpCloud you can reduce or eliminate much of that infrastructure.

Robust, Reliable, Production Ready IAM

  • October 25, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
JumpCloud is an incredibly straightforward yet powerful identity and access management solution. It's simple yet reliable & robust enough for every integration we have. The RBAC (role-based access control) are well designed, making delegation and access scoping very friendly.
Integration with MDM, MFA, and SSO is smooth and consistent, with minimal configuration overhead. Overall, JumpCloud has become a stable and dependable core of our production environment, offering enterprise-level control without complexity.
What do you dislike about the product?
The testing features to confirm OIDC and the group enforcement can be limited, it would be good to test RBAC before enforcing in a structured way which tells you the implications before committing prod changes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud streamlines identity, device, and access management across all clients, giving our MSP secure, scalable control with strong RBAC and integrations that saves time, reduces risk, and is very scalable.

Intuitive and Insightful Platform with Smooth Experience, Minor Update Lags

  • October 25, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
There are many things to appreciate about Jumpcloud. Ease of Integration, Features such as comprehensive insights into users' systems stand out, and the administration portal is very intuitive. Customer Support are very reactive to my queries. Most of its processes are also seamless, making the overall experience smooth.
What do you dislike about the product?
I believe that during update rollouts, there may be occasional lags, though they are hardly noticeable. I'm confident that the team is continuing to work on improving this aspect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They encountered a few issues with Apple IDs & report creation, but their support team responded quickly. It's rare to find such real-time assistance with other application support these days.

All-in-One Solution with Challenging Troubleshooting

  • October 24, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
This solution brings everything together in one place, including identity management, MDM, and integrations. It is relatively easy to use and implement once you have the hang of it.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are times when things simply stop working, and troubleshooting becomes necessary. In my experience, it's often faster to start over and reconfigure everything from scratch rather than rely on their support team for help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having an MDM platform that can manage all types of endpoints, while also providing SSO support for each of them, is extremely valuable.
