Great Features and Reliability, But Pricing Limits Accessibility
What do you like best about the product?
The features are comprehensive and it's reliable - compared to other social media management platform the interface is smooth, it feels well-built, it doesn't have the jankyness of many of the cheaper solutions. The reporting is comprehensive, and the ability to export stats to excel for further analysis has been excellent. It's simple to use, not much of a learning curve, intuitive and slick.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost. While it's well-built and comprehensive, it isn't suitable for smaller organisations with less money. There are tools that do what Sprout does 80% as well for 20 times less - you will need to ask yourself if that 20% is worth the massive amount of money that they charge.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout allows teams with many social media contributors collaborate well, with full visibility of upcoming posts, ability to monitor all inboxes and ability to do relatively impressive out of the box analytics. Our biggest issue was multiple teams who use different platforms for different purposes. Sprout centralises this thoroughly and easily.
Streamlines Community Management & Extremely User-Friendly
What do you like best about the product?
I find Sprout Social incredibly user-friendly, which is essential for our global social media team as it allows us to manage everything in one centralized location. The platform makes community management tasks efficient, straightforward, and convenient. I especially appreciate the filtering and tagging features, which are invaluable when categorizing inbound messages by product. This functionality ensures we never miss important communication and can quickly access specific messages and posts. The ability to collaborate actively within the platform with my teammates is a significant advantage. Additionally, Sprout's onboarding experience was seamless due to the exceptional support provided by their team, making the initial setup process easy. The decision to switch from a different software was driven by a desire for a more user-friendly solution, and Sprout has delivered on that promise.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that some of the features on the back-end, such as granting permissions for posting, approving content, and replying to inbound messages, are confusing for team members to set up, particularly for a global company with different teams requiring separate group settings. Additionally, the social listening capabilities of Sprout Social were initially less robust than expected, lacking the filtering, longer historical data logs, and diverse dashboard views we desired. Although I'm hopeful for future improvements, these areas currently leave much to be desired.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find that Sprout Social makes community management efficient and convenient, allowing active team collaboration and ensuring no inbound messages are missed. It is user-friendly and centralizes all social media tasks, with great filtering and tagging features for easy access to specific messages.

What I like most about Sprout Social is how much time it saves. The platform is clean, organized, and packed with helpful insights. It has everything I need to manage our social all in one place. Sprout Social makes scheduling, monitoring, and reporting incredibly simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can take some time to learn all the features of Sprout Social. Once you do, it’s great, but the initial setup and learning curve can feel a little overwhelming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social solves the problem of inefficiency. Before Sprout, managing multiple social accounts across multiple platforms felt overwhelming and time-consuming. Now, everything is streamlined in one dashboard.

I love using Sprout Social for my role as a Digital Communications Officer, particularly because it helps me share posts and report on our social media numbers efficiently. One of the standout features for me is the tagging capability, which allows me to categorize posts effectively when reporting. This is particularly beneficial for tracking and analyzing our community posts. Additionally, the ease of initial setup made possible by the comprehensive tutorials provided by Sprout Social is another aspect I appreciate. My positive experience with these features combined with the overall functionality of the software makes me highly recommend it to others.

I think you could improve on the mobile app interface and tagging other organizations on specific social media platforms.

The ability to create posts for multiple social media channels simultaneously not only saves time but also maximizes our online reach. Additionally, the visibility feature is a standout aspect as it provides a comprehensive calendar view, showing both the days we have posted and the open days available for new posts. This calendar view facilitates better planning and content strategy, making it easier to maintain an organized posting schedule. I also found the initial setup of Sprout Social to be really easy, which contributes to a smooth onboarding experience for new users.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the small view of the post on the calendar is problematic. The preview screen is small for people with bad vision.

I can't find anything I dislike about Sprout. The integrations are straightforward and work seamlessly.

Lastly, the platform resolves issues with inaccessible support by providing billing and customer service teams that are readily available and responsive to any questions.

It is super helpful to be able to plan my month ahead using the same post for two different social platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
One issue I have is that we can't organize our uploaded media by themes or assign names to them.

Organizing posts can be chaotic and Sprout Social helps with this.

What do you like best about the product?
I like to be able to post content on multiple platforms for multiple stores at once
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't post stories for Instagram and Facebook. Only Instagram. Also, can't use story features like you can when you post from your phone on IG.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The reporting does a great job for my executive briefs each quarter. It provides the stats I need for my reporting.

What do you like best about the product?
Sprout Social allows us to effectively support our 500+ local stores through posting content to each of their profiles in a seamless way. It also lets us stay on top of industry conversation to stay ahead of trends and issues that allow us to protect the brand. The team has also been a great support through frequent touchpoints and training opportunities.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost may be an inhibitor for some organizations to join the platform, and there could also be more seats for users without having to pay extra out of pocket, especially for larger organizations that require multiple accounts and teams.

Sprout allows us to post to our 500+ local store accounts with ease and manage our corporate accounts and track performance, with ease.

I really appreciate that with Sprout Social, I can manage everything related to social media in one centralized platform, which greatly enhances my workflow efficiency. The feature that stands out the most for me is the capability to view and manage inboxes, schedule posts with the calendar, and utilize Sprout Link, which provides a seamless experience in handling click-through data and insights. The competitor benchmarking within Sprout Social is another aspect I value; it allows me to gauge my social media performance against others in the industry effectively. Additionally, the reporting tools are incredibly useful, offering comprehensive data and insights that help drive strategic decisions for our social media campaigns. Setting up Sprout Social was quite easy for me, especially since I have prior experience with the platform, making the onboarding process smooth. Overall, the features and tools Sprout Social offers empower me to streamline our social media management effortlessly.

I think there could be more of a step-by-step guide on how to set up profiles within Sprout Social.
