What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet has been very easy to use for all of our meetings - easy to share sheets with other departments in our company, works well with collaboration
What do you dislike about the product?
Works like Excel but doesn't offer the exact same features

Before, I was juggling spreadsheets, emails, and notes. Smartsheet centralizes everything.

Workspace as a great asset to collect related info like risk, stakeholders and more.

Complex way to adapt file raise to keep format, wasting time to get flows and the lack of AI to creat draft versions.

Great, complicated product
What do you like best about the product?
We have found Control Center to be a very powerful tool in keeping our resources organized. We are a service provider, we accept multi-sample project submissions through a form and then track progress of each project, each sample through sheets generated with Control Center. We are able to record data as we proceed and have our overview sheets update immediately, allowing us to actively track all projects in our queue at once
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be very hard to follow the flow of information through SmartSheet. Between forms, automations, archiving workflows, and formulas, we have found it hard to track ownership of assets and the sources of certain pieces of information. We have resources that don't appear to be owned by anyone and SS has not been able to track them down, we have lost assets with team members leaving that we did not know would disappear. It can also be difficult to utilize the formulas- I have found there are may limitations to the formulas that are not intuitive to an experienced Excel user

Intuitive UI, Needs More Automation
What do you like best about the product?
I found Smartsheet's intuitive usage from the user interface standpoint as particularly valuable, making it easy to handle. Additionally, the ability to see all company tasks in one place and generate comprehensive reports for over 800 sheets is incredibly useful, enhancing our accountability and execution.
What do you dislike about the product?

What do you like best about the product?
Worked well in helping us track jobs, there progress, and where mistakes were made. It also works well to track excess inventory to get rid of. Since using smartsheets we have been able to determine if the mistake came from purchasing, design, or the warehouse.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside I can think of is that everything is manually entered. I would love to figure out implementing a barcode system to use with smartsheets and our inventory
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has helped us accureatly track jobs, with project managers, sales, and design all being constantly updated on the progress of the warehouse as well as the progress of materials that are on back order.
Smartsheet useful for project management - as long as you are willing to learn
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is hugely adaptable, similar to excel but much better connected for project management. It has been really helpful in managing our project and keeping us on track for our twice weekly project update meetings.
What do you dislike about the product?
- It is not the easiest system to use and requires considerable training for non-project management staff, this has made it difficult to get the organisation to properly use it, for example guest users and those that don't use it regualry
- It has a lot of features but these are complex to master, I dont think I use it to its full capability. This is more difficult because the modular basis seems to put additional features, that would seem to improve ease of use, behind a paywall we cant justify paying for.

It has been really helpful to keep track key dates in our reporting schedule and keep us on track.
Smartsheet is a nice online spreadsheet with some nice additional features

The task automations work easy to set up a automated workflows like notifications and updating status fields

It would be great to work online as we do not always have internet available

Smartsheet is good in a lot of ways but excel is simpler for some features.
What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact you can have automated elements easier than excel and that you can have lots of documents in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
Adding filters, excel is more user friendly for this and is simpler.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can track progress, automate reports and work on many documents in the same space instead of having multiple spreadsheets saved in various folders on sharepoint.
