Great tool with flashes of brilliance
What do you like best about the product?
The proofing workflow they got as part of the Brandfolder acquisition is brilliant. The ability to tag photos and videos, focus and version your comments is fantastic.
What do you dislike about the product?
The product is still getting its feet underneath it and there's many places where it's still struggling to compete with the functionality of its desktop equivalents. While the cloud has many advantages, the entrenched products have decades of integrations and feature additions that SmartSheet is struggling to match.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing flexible project worksheets between us and our clients is always a challenge. You need something that can be 1) accessed by both parties; 2) controlled/guardrail-ed by one party; 3) customizable to present and collect required info and only required info; 4) customizable to validate and transform data that is being entered. Smartsheet solves all of these for us.
I like Smartsheet for many reasons, but struggle with formatting or the copy and paste.
What do you like best about the product?
The instant update to others who share the sheet.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not being able to select and copy to another program (outlook/word)

What do you like best about the product?
Quite a simple tool to use, Good visualization tools. Easy to integrate as Smartsheet can be used to a wide range of appliocations. Used very frequently in the office. Implementation varies across department.
What do you dislike about the product?
Stuggles with complexity, double Y axis graphs would be very helpful, increasing width of dashboards would be very helpful. Customer support isn't that great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows us to use a dynamic cloud based system to controll projects.

What do you like best about the product?
The 3 best things I like about Smartsheet are; i/ Dashboard presentation of data, ii/ cloud based solution, iii/ concurrent use
What do you dislike about the product?
Limit of functionality with a single-license purchase (e.g. severe limit of Dashboard objects, and no sheet summary (formulas) available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Providing a "single source of truth" programme management tool, to capture, track and report programme status across multiple workstreams.

What do you like best about the product?
User-friendly, and easy for new users. Good interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
Loading time is sometimes slow or freezes altogether.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project tracking is a lot easier now with Smartsheets.
It's a great tool but it's not very clear on how to customise it.

it looks clear and is not overloaded with other features.

that you can't customise it enough and that it 's not clear which licences you need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
the alternative is exclesheet which is not enough good as you need it to be more dynamic.

What do you like best about the product?
It is a fairly simple to use tool to help plan and create schedules for simple to complex projects. In particular I find the 'Dependancies' functionality particularly useful, to crearly show how editing one simple deliverable can affect the enntire project.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are perhapssome funtionalities that I have not yet used but I wouldn't be able to comment on those.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It can provide clear details of all project's deliverables, responsibilityes and deadlines empowering each and all stakeholders and this is a huge help keeping everyone involved informed and up to date on the project's progression

What do you like best about the product?
The cloud based nature provides a great foundation for smartsheet. We use smartsheet as a way to organise projects in our team, and the forms function has allowed us to set up strong processes for reciving and vetting new project requests. The filter functionalities in smartsheet are great and speed up finding the relevant data in each scenario.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet is sometimes hard to navigate, particularly in very wide sheets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet has allowed us to become a lot more organized. It has replaced an excel sheet used for project tracking and project management, and has allowed us to introduce a ticketing system using the "forms" functionality. This has streamlined our project submission process and reduced back and forth questions onproject submissions.

I don't have any true dislikes regarding smartsheet, it does what I need

It serves well as a portal to keep and easily keep track of data
A powerful tool with some great templates
What do you like best about the product?
-It's like a more modern version of Excel
-Able to store files and data that is interlinked in the cloud.
-We managed to set up a great drawing checking document that linked to our projects, since we've moved to Monday.com the drawing checking opens in a smaller box which is a bit of a downgrade.
-Different views. We managed our projects through stagegates using the tile view which was great.
-Lots of great help in videos on how to.
-Ability to create forms is great, used it with our procurement requests which fed through to a log.
-Able to store files and data that is interlinked in the cloud.

-It can take a while to get something working the way you want it to
-You get bombarded by joining requests from colleagues even if you're not an admin of the account
-Notifications for everything can be a bit annoying

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
-It was helping with Drawing Checking. Being able to upload a latest revision of drawings and comment on it with arrows was great. Revisions was also a really good tool that we've lost sinse moving to Monday.com
-Managing projects was good with it as we could create multiple stagegates and pass each project through it. It gave a really good visual of where each project was, as well as being able to see the workload of projects at once.
-It provides a great place for us to store all our Revit model files and have links to the real life product online as well as any part codes and other important information.
