Easy to use and to track changes
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use from the first moment, really fast to learn. I like how you can track the value of a specific cell over time.
What do you dislike about the product?
It could become slow if you start linking together several sheets with vlookups so better to use index/match instead. The limitation of the number of cells that you can paste in one go is not technically justified and it is there just for you to pay an extra fee for DataShuttle. Overall, it is an expensive tool but usefull if your company already pay for it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Smartsheet to create workflows that previously required more manual intervections.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is incredibly flexible and user-friendly. I love how easy it is to manage projects, tasks, and timelines all in one place. The ability to create Gantt charts, dashboards, and automated workflows has significantly improved how our team operates. Collaboration is seamless, and I appreciate the version control and activity tracking features that keep everything transparent and accountable.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the platform is powerful, there is a bit of a learning curve for new users—especially for those unfamiliar with spreadsheet-style project tools. Also, the mobile app feels slightly limited compared to the desktop version, which can be a challenge when working on the go.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Smartsheet, project updates and team communication were scattered across emails and spreadsheets. Now, everything is centralized, and we’ve saved a lot of time by automating repetitive tasks. Project visibility has drastically improved, allowing stakeholders to stay updated in real-time. It’s helped us deliver projects on time and with fewer errors.
Used for school, software worked well with a few hiccups here and there.
What do you like best about the product?
It was fairly simple to learn and understand out it worked and how to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
When using the app on my cell phone it often would not display correctly and when trying to work with the schools IT team to be able to see all of the things I needed to it was not possible to get it to happen. Whether it was due to the software itself or the IT department I'm not 100% sure.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organizing patient contacts as well as tracking our clinical contacts and lab days.
Great tool for managing projects and teams
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is easy to use and great for managing tasks and projects. I like how it helps teams collaborate in real time and keeps everything organized in one place. The ability to customize workflows and create simple dashboards is very helpful. It’s also nice that it integrates with other tools like Microsoft Teams and Google Drive.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a little tricky to get started if you’re new to the tool, especially with setting up automations or workflows. The price may be high for small teams, and sometimes it feels a bit slow when dealing with large amounts of data.

Smartsheet helps streamline project management, task tracking, and team collaboration. It eliminates the need for multiple tools by offering everything in one place—task assignments, timelines, and updates. The automation features reduce manual work, saving time and ensuring consistent workflows. Additionally, the ability to share real-time updates keeps everyone on the same page, improving communication and reducing delays in project delivery. This helps my team stay organized, work more efficiently, and complete projects faster.
Smartsheet A Valuable Tool In Our Organization
What do you like best about the product?
It acts as a tool to collect information across departments and used as a dashboard to disseminate information.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not very intuitive. When exporting data from Smartsheet to Excel, the filtered data are not filtered.

What do you like best about the product?
Easily adopted as it is familiar interface like excel.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are many templates but to adopt them for a different use may not be as easy, especially with reports and dashboards. Would be great to have some features like "walk me". University is time consuming.
There is no access to sample sandbox for Control Centre. It is hard to evaluate capabilities without testing them.

Good tool, Poor Customer Service
What do you like best about the product?
Good tool, functional as a standalone software, and very easily integrated via bots or in some cases directly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Their customer service is appalling. Don't miss the 'pre-renewal' notice period for changes. Last year we missed the 30day notice, and they had randomly increased our prices per licence (even thought the website showed significantly less) and there was no way of amending the number of licenses once you were within 30days of the renewal date. Customer Service were far from helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving Less as we have implemented and ERP that absorbs a number of the functions we were previously relying on Smartsheet For. Currently, it is mainly information collation & reporting.
Project Planning staple with simple/intuitive functionality
What do you like best about the product?
Reliable project planning tool with the functionality to create very useful team dashboards, project plans, forms, and other items. I love that it is simple functionality which is intuit and easy to pick up a first time user.
What do you dislike about the product?
When creating project plans, I would love to see a better visual for the gantt chart. I essentially never use the gantt chart as I can't customize it and make it visually appealing enough to place into any decks/executive presentations. Allowing better visual customization and easy drop-in to PowerPoint/Google Slides would be a huge win.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides intuitive and simple functionality that is most commonly used when creating project plans. Some specific examples: 1) Creating child tasks that auto populate the start/end dates of the parent task based on all sub activities 2) auto adjusting dates of tasks that have dependencies on other tasks. 3) Creating a gantt chart based on the tasks/activities

I like the super easy interface and ability to incorporate Smartsheet into my work flow.

Some functions are not clear how it's operated, would prefer if there's some guidance somewhere.

Smart Sheets for Vertical Construction Ops
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is a tool with a lot of functionality.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our end users, despite extensive training have struggle to use it effectively. I would characterize it as not very user friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is our current scheduling solution. To be completely transparent, we have been trying to find an alternate since before I started working here.
