-ability to review calls instantly

-transcription is good but not perfect
-not much to dislike here, it's obviously still early stage but it works perfectly, does what it's supposed to, and can see where it can grow much further

Can't Imagine Coaching Without Gong
What do you like best about the product?
As a leader, I can't be everywhere at once, but with Gong I'm able to listen to sales calls in my spare time and provide feedback to my team.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile interface could use some improvements. It works on mobile but isn't as optimal an experience as the desktop version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've been better equipped to coach our sales team, which was the most crucial need we had, especially with a geographically dispersed workforce.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Evangelize the platform internally. There are other amazing use cases for this beyond sales coaching. I'm looking forward to expanding usage to our customer success team.
Great AE Coaching Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I love that when I am on back to back demos, I can review the call later and jot down any relevant pieces of information that I missed the first go around. We also pick one gong call a week to listen to on our sales team and give feedback on questions we should have asked.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes gong used to pick up snippets of other calls so the call you wanted to review might not have the entire recording. However, I know they are working on this!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong is helping me personally continue to improve my skills as an AE. I love that it shows me the percentage of time I am talking vs my prospect.

What do you like best about the product?
My favorite thing about Gong.io is that everything is done automatically. When I begin a demo call, Gong immediately joins without me having to do anything. As an AE team, we all gather once a week to play one rep's call in front of the entire team for constructive criticism. The first time, no one wanted to go. Now we fight to go next. For me personally, I can also go back to any call and re-listen to any key point to find something that I forgot to write down. Gone are the days of having incomplete and spotty notes with vital information missing.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it had more transcripting. It currently shows you areas where a particular topic is discussed (i.e. pricing) but a complete transcript would be very powerful and make it easier to pinpoint super specific parts of the call.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This is helping our leaders better coach our reps on discovery, demoing, and objection handling. It's also helping leadership ensure our messaging and presentation is consistent across the entire team.
Strong Pilot - immediate value
What do you like best about the product?
This is so much more than a recording technology. It also uses AI technology that helps segment recordings so managers can maximize time by listening to the most value sections of demos/appts/calls. The AI allows me to get a quick cliff's notes version of important parts of the call.
This is very light for reps to adopt because they don't have to remember to hit record so we have way more recordings to choose from for training and coaching. I like that I can comment on a call down to the exact time so we can focus the coaching to specific tactics. I like that we can save recordings into a library for training and scenario-based coaching.

They haven't release much reporting so we only get that in live reviews. I would like to have access to dashboards and trends across the team. I want to

This gives tons more manager visibility into what is happening on calls. It also equips us for more effective training with our team.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I received more helpful recommendations from our sales person than from client success during implementation. Leverage the sales process to get solid recommendations.
Gong is Invaluable as a remote employee!
What do you like best about the product?
As someone who pushes themselves to overachieve, I love the fact that Gong gives me the ability to self-analyze and solicit feedback on my pitches from colleagues. And while I'm a fairly disciplined note taker, the fact that my calls are being recorded frees me up to focus on the conversation at hand - rather than jotting each and every detail from the conversation. Lastly, the ability to learn from others by listening to their discussions is invaluable.
Listening to past calls on Gong has become part of my pre-meeting ritual before any high-stakes meeting.

There's nothing I really dislike per say, but I would love the ability to access the transcript from a conversation as opposed to having to listen to it.

I wasn't involved in the purchasing Gong, so I'm not quite sure what we were trying to solve. From my perspective, Gong is great for:

A must have for Sales teams
What do you like best about the product?
Great product that is easy to use. Much better than the traditional recorded call. The analytics and AI are hugely powerful. It's great for coaching and new hires as well as fine tuning your own skills in an online meeting!

There is nothing to dislike. It is easy intuitive tool that has a ton of value

Making the meetings that we host as valuable as we can to our prospects. Learning how to overcome objections and understand what is working and what is not working. The analytics are key.

I'd like to see more individual and aggregate call statistics which the team is adding in their product releases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We record sales demos (and support screen shares) so that we can listen and improve. Reps listen to their own demos as well as demos by others on the team. We look at keywords in the transcripts. We also look at how much we talk versus how much the customer talks to achieve a healthy ratio. Recording demos also enables us to do better sales, support, and success coaching.

1. Game Film: Gong allows sales reps and managers to study their strengths, weaknesses and tendencies. Hands-down this is the best tool to provide feedback to an account executive on a call.
2. Understanding our Prospects and Customers: After a meeting you can re-listen to the call to see if we understood their challenges correctly and what areas we missed or did not address on that call. It's a great resource to validate your notes and craft an accurate recap email.

Nothing - Gong is a great product that is innovating very quickly. I always look forward to their new releases.

Gong helps us with our sales development and prospect/customer follow-up.
As a director of sales, I can go back and listen to calls to see if we are asking the right questions, how we are over coming objections and how we address the competition. You can easily search a call for key words like competitors, pricing, timeline etc.
Gong helps us be able to go back to previous calls truly understand what the prospect or client said...not what we think they said.

If you have an inside sales team who runs virtual meetings Gong is an absolute must have! I can't imagine my job without it,

What do you like best about the product?
For the first year of my job, I was the sales productivity manager at Greenhouse. Training and continuous development would not be possible without being about to download, review, save, and share calls. I'm able to dissect areas of improvement, as well as celebrate champions.

I'd like to create core competencies and be able to grade calls. I'd also love a social sharing aspect where reps can grade each others' calls.
