    Computer Software

Great for onboarding new employees.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to hear seasoned colleagues' business conversations that I would not have had access to prior to the implementation of this tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
Search items do not display in chronological order.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Learning a new subject matter and new sales process can be a challenge, especially working from home. The ability to listen to my colleagues' business meetings and calls has been an invaluable tool for my onboarding process. The ramp up time has been shortened due to this type of exposure, exposure I wouldn't have normally received when working from my home office.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend this tool to any organization looking to shorten the onboarding process, looking to improve employees' interaction with customers and prospects, and/or looking for a way to lessen misunderstandings when multiple people within the organization are interacting with your customers at different points in the process.

Gong has so many benefits for a growing company

What do you like best about the product?
It's hard to pick what I like best, when I essentially like everything about it. If I had to pick one thing, it would be the ability to have a new SDR listen to 40+ sales calls during his first week. It greatly reduced his time to productivity - he was comfortable setting demos within a few days vs. a few weeks.
What do you dislike about the product?
The one and only thing I can think of is that Gong joins all meetings if you have it set up to record automatically. It would be nice if there was a way to remove gong from a meeting prior to it starting versus the method of kicking gong out of the meeting after it starts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a growing company, we're continuously perfecting our pitch, understanding our customers pain points and identifying potential product features. Prior to using Gong, our sales team was central to providing all feedback to our entire team - product, engineering, marketing, etc. With Gong, we've opened it up to the entire company, so any person in any department can go in and listen to sales calls, getting a more complete picture in the correct context.

I also love the ability listen to our reps calls and provide coaching. Within the first week of reviewing my AE's sales calls, I was able to identify an area of our pitch that we struggled through and able to immediately pull in the right stakeholders to ensure we had a better understanding of the product and how our customers use it.

At the very least, sign up for a trial.

Powerful tool for our company needs

What do you like best about the product?
It starts from the automated recording - Gong is linked to my calendar and records my calls automatically.
Then I receive the link literally a few minutes after the call ends.
When I revisit the recording, adding comments is very helpful to later understand the topics that were discussed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the speaker's part isn't locked down so the accuracy of % per speaker is slightly off
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our team has just begun to adopt more areas of Gong, with Folders, trackers and more exciting things.
We're adding trackers that will help us find keywords in the sales calls and later on in the customer calls that indicate expectations/promised features. And in our shared folder we share calls with the other team members to learn from and share customer use cases.

What do you like best about the product?
The fact that I can easily give feedback to our sales team even if I didn't have the time to join the call when it happened. With Gong I can easily analyse sales calls and find out what works and what doesn't.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can come up with anything that I would dislike about Gong. It delivers what it promises.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have managed to identify common questions our prospects tend to ask during qualification calls and adjust our call structure to answer these question before these are even asked.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the fact that I don't need to spend mental faculties taking notes whilst speaking with a prospect - I usually end up just going back and listen to stuff I don't remember/missed - especially ones which are the more important sections. Plus, I love listening to calls of my colleagues globally when I have the time to be able to understand how they chat with prospects in the American/European markets as opposed to South East Asian markets!
What do you dislike about the product?
I really wish there was a written transcript - relistening to calls is fairly time consuming and if I could quickly glance over the text instead of having to listen to the calls, I'd be a very happy sales person!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wasn't involved in purchasing the subscription, but I'm assuming having a library of all prospecting/sales calls, shared across three continents is pretty darn useful for any company!

What do you like best about the product?
I LOVE being able to focus on my customer and our conversation instead of taking notes or thinking about making sure I don't miss anything. I listen to Gong likes is a radio station at work. I'm either re-listening to a previous client call in preparation for a follow up call, or I'm listening to a demo or another rep's pitch while I'm doing other things. I'm an avid 'commenter' so it's easy to share calls internally - ie, I need the product person to listen to these sound bites. Lastly, I love being able to share calls back with clients. It's amazing how often I've had the client ask if I have a recording after a good discussion, presentation or demo (and I can tell if they looked at it :).
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like more options for filing/organizing calls. I would love an 'auto gong' button physically on my phone so I could just hit record whenever I have a call with a client that isn't a conference call. I do find that now that i rely on gong so much, it's harder for me to recall conversations that aren't recorded :)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Recalling specific to do's, or specific data points that a client has shared with you is huge for me. I also love how efficient it can be to share customer feedback truly verbatim internally. The speed up and comment features can make gong even more efficient than having a meeting to relay how you recall a meeting...

What do you like best about the product?
Gong does two things super well. One, it lets reps continuously learn from each other and themselves by archiving all calls (good ones and ugly ones) and making them easy to surface for reviews. Two, it's super helpful for going back and taking notes. You'd be amazed at the listening skills I've acquired in my time using Gong.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish gong would transcribe the audio of the call....
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sales training is hard enough. There's no better training than your peers. Mirroring the good reps and coaching up the underperformers would be a lot harder without Gong.

What do you like best about the product?
If you can't be listening in on a call in real time every time, a recorded call is the next best thing. The daily report of calls from the day before has created a new routine for me. Early mornings are for reviewing calls from the day before and preparing feedback for the day ahead.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be great to be able to see a functionality for greater reporting across a team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong allows our sales leadership team to identify trends within our teams' calls and gain a better understanding of how to best train and coach our teams as a result.

Game Changer for coaching and ramping

What do you like best about the product?
Gong is great a tool for coaching. Once a week we have a team meeting to review a gong call. We call it our "Point and Laugh at a Closer" Meeting. A rep comes with a call and we review it as a team. The group learning from this has been great as we can collectively learn and provide feedback as a group. I've also found Gong to be great for ramping new reps as we can categorize recordings on how to handle (or not handle) certain objectives, present features, etc.

The Salesforce sync has made it easy to get up to speed on an opportunity when strategically helping a rep.
What do you dislike about the product?
Gong doesn't always push calls to Salesforce.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Coaching and ramping new reps up.

Best Dang Sales Training Tool Ever

What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that new sales reps are able to listen to a ton of good demos and sales calls in a short amount of time. The ability to leave notes in line with the conversation for coaching and the ability to coach reps based on the analytics Gong provides. Love having the calls appended to the opportunities in Salesforce.
What do you dislike about the product?
What is there to not like, it does everything I need it to.

Getting reps up to speed much much quicker.
