An interactive Sales Bible
What do you like best about the product?
Gong has allowed me to identify what works, what doesn't work and how I can close more deals. It also allows me to go back onto my calls and catch subtle clues that I may not have caught during the meeting.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do several international calls in foreign languages, which Gong does not translate yet...but this is a minor part of my business.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong allows me to continuously improve my pitch and move deals forward by focusing on what is resonating with my prospects.

Gong.io, a Sales Rep must have
What do you like best about the product?
During a call I can listen and engage. I can focus on what is being said. The recording allows me to go in later to ensure my notes match up to what my prospects are saying. It allows for the perfect call recap email because I can pair my language to that of my prospect. Additionally, prospects ask me to share the recording with them, so thay can use the info to help sell internally once the call is over. Gong.io empowers the sales rep and their prospects.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could edit which parts of the call to share with a prospect. The platform would be more powerful if I could nail down a few minute time block that I could share so my prospect doesnt have to do as much work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Forecasting accuracy, confirmation of business issues, accurate notes in SFDC.
Helpful Call Recording and Call Review
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to review calls, decreasing the need for note-taking. Really easy to share calls for coaching or review externally.
What do you dislike about the product?
Transcripts are often of little use due to mixed accuracy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automated call recording has reduced the need for note-taking, allowing me to focus on the call. Sharing calls internally for coaching and externally for presentation recordings.
Focus on the call, takes notes later
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to actively listen without worrying about writing everything down. Then I can go back later and analyze the key parts of each call.
What do you dislike about the product?
When calls don't record - I am not sure why this is
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Love being able to listen to colleges calls to improve my own technique.
Gong is insightful, and not sure if I'm using it to its' full capabilities.
What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to see the ratio of talk time of myself versus the client, this is a real reminder to listen more on my calls.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't "dislike' anything, I just don't think I am using all of the features and would love more training.

Finding an objective way to evaluate my calls.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to dissect a call for game-film, follow-up, feedback, and note-taking by using the search function to find actual words used throughout the call.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally calls will not be recorded, but this tends to only happen when things are re-scheduled, or the organizer is switched. What we always do to prevent that is copy Gong on the calendar invites, and that always works.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Following up after meetings is critically important to our customers' success, and Gong allows to go back and check action items, deliverables, and time-sensitive work that is needed to be done so that nothing slips through the cracks, and we maintain customer satisfaction, ultimately leading to more renewals.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Another great way to use gong is to monitor your consistent use of filler words like "um" "okay" "absolutely" and my least favorite question of all time: "does that make sense?"

What do you like best about the product?
I like that the system automatically records my calls, the UI is clean and easy. The features are great.
What do you dislike about the product?
The number of emails received -- there are too many.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reviewing progress, mistakes, positives, etc -- more polished calls.

What do you like best about the product?
Gong helps me review calls to gather all the details. The AI used to index the call helps me find important moments in the call. The ability to review my calls allows me to do self coaching in a way i haven't been able to in the past
What do you dislike about the product?
Impromptu meetings are cumbersome to record with Gong and I tend to loose the first 10 minutes - when I remember to invite Gong

Improve sales call quality. Review process and make improvements. retain more information from good sales calls.

What do you like best about the product?
Gong helps me be the best sales person by highlighting areas of strength and weakness in my calls. They curate a list of words that I use too often, highlight buying signs and make it easy to pinpoint details in each call.
What do you dislike about the product?
i wish it didn't show up on my gotomeeting screen but I understand why it has to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My sales have increased as a result - I can review my calls and identify buying signs or issues that I missed in my original call. It helps me construct informative emails and really help my customers achieve what they need.
Very helpful tool for sales mentorship, training and weekly reviews.
What do you like best about the product?
You can search for specific keywords, pick up on common objections and evaluate sales calls easily. You can add custom libraries for keywords and search those terms.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally, the application cannot differentiate whom is speaking on the call and the percentage of sales rep vs prospect is mixed, though this is rare.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are reducing the sales cycle by picking up on common objections on a larger scale.
