Highly Recommend
What do you like best about the product?
Gong is easy to use and provides our team with insights we've never had access to before. As a CSM, I was hesitant about having each of my calls recorded. I've found that having Gong allows me to focus. Although I still take notes, I am able to take fewer notes and focus more on the conversation because I can always refer back to Gong. It's also helped me continue to improve on basic call skills such as agenda setting, cadence and minimizing filler words.
What do you dislike about the product?
Like any technology, there's a wishlist for enhancements. That being said, it's already a great product and the team is quickly building more value-add features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our team primarily purchased Gong for our ADRs + AEs, however it's also provided our Customer Success team with value in several ways. Here are a few that are top of mind: simplifying the manager feedback loop; recordings of customer conversations allow us to provide direct feedback to our product team; we're building a library of customer calls that assist in team training and peer feedback; our team is constantly improving our call quality based on the metrics Gong provides; and we're able to track important words across all of our calls to understand challenges and trends across our customer base.

As BDR at a new company, it's a great way to learn and watch demos.
What do you like best about the product?
I can watch live or recorded demos at my own convenience.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the sound can cut in and out but overall, great product!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's a great tool to learn from especially in sales. I can learn from rejection and understand the business model of Heap
Gong is spot on!
What do you like best about the product?
I have gotten to experience Gong primarily in tandem with our Customer Success Manager's while digging into a technical support issue. It's been so helpful in so many instances to be able to go back, review the audio and have a video to be able to most effectively ticket any issues that may be uncovered.
What do you dislike about the product?
I personally do not have any dislikes. In the instances that I have used the platform it has been great!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong is a priceless technical support tool and I hope that we start utilizing something for this team as well as our Customer Success team who has already implemented it.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how the word trackers instantly direct me to a certain tag word in the demo/call. I can go back to my call if I have forgotten what a prospect said. My sales cycles are very long, so remembering every little details is impossible. I like the instant feedback I can receive from my manager after a call. It directs her to certain areas of my call and saves us time in getting to the juicy parts of the call.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a busy rep, I don't use GONG as much as I maybe should. I feel like I need to get more peer to peer feedback, so making it more of a gamification tool for me...I might be more apt to go in and do something. I am sure our management team is using it more than I am.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
so far, none that I am aware of. Just started using it a few months ago.

Management reading everything. They can comb through calls and pick up on arbitray things and nit pick

What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy this is to dissect certain aspects of calls by category. It's really easy to go find where you're talking pricing, competitors, etc
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the NLP is a little wonky. It doesn't always get the conversation exactly right, which can be a little frustrating when you try to search for particular words.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Self-improvement. Making it easy to get self-feedback and managerial feedback on certain components of the sales cycle

If feedback is important and you have time for it, this is a great product.

doesn't always recognize our calls when they are recorded because of gotomeeting issue

What do you like best about the product?
The customer service from Gong has been amazing - they've readily integrated requests and offered ways we can optimize our usage of the tool. It's great to be using a tool that's outputted from a lean team like Gong.
What do you dislike about the product?
Once in awhile my videos won't upload synch properaly - in addition, it would be great if Gong could synch with Amity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smarter talks with my customers - in addition, it's fuelled transparency across our organization. As I'm able to better to see the discussions my clients had with the sales team before the hand-off to Success occured.
Really helpful... with some Google calendar integration challenges
What do you like best about the product?
Gong is AWESOME for helping you to go over calls with your manager, and being able to make sure you catch all of the details in your calls with prospects.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Google calendar integration seemed to be particularly difficult. I only use Go-To-Meeting via the Google Calendar application and for whatever reason, it took my manager a couple of conversations with the CSM to make sure it worked. Occasionally it still will not record my calls.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong helps to ensure that our team can standardize our conversations with prospects as much as possible. This helps to drive value for folks evaluating our software and allows us to best scale our approach as a team.
Great asset for sales orgonizations
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to return to past calls and review them.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having to disclose up front that the call is being recorded. Can be hard to get in the habit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to identify areas of improvement for me. It helps me refine my talk track.
