Great Product + Great Team
What do you like best about the product?
Gong makes it easy to streamline our coaching process, and get ahead of problems before we lose a deal. It also allows our teams to quickly and easily share information, and revisit call recordings for more information (instead of taking notes while running a call, for example). The information sharing benefit wasn't something I was expecting initially, but it's been invaluable - all handoffs internally between teams have become way smoother as a result. Their team has also been incredibly helpful, going above and beyond to resolve any issues we've encountered. Above all, the product is extremely user-friendly. It required almost no work from us to implement and roll out to the team, and everyone adopted it immediately because it was so user friendly, which is a first for a sales enablement tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
This is hard to answer - I really wish they had a mobile app, so I could listen to call recordings remotely (and download them to my phone so I don't have to stream them), but I also know that's something they're working on rolling out, so I can't really criticize it too much.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us onboard reps faster and up-skill existing reps more efficiently. This means shorter ramp times, and less time from management spent per rep, to get the same results from a training/development perspective. We can be more efficient with our time. Also, the ability to hand off calls between teams (and then search the call transcript for the relevant part of the conversation - for example, a pricing discussion) is so helpful.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Think about whether your team is large enough to make it worthwhile - if we had a smaller team and we were more focused on refining our go-to-market, I probably wouldn't have bought the product or found it useful. But we have a mid-sized fast-growing sales team, and we've got a clear sales process and go to market strategy, so it works perfectly.

Great for personal growth
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to review your calls and just the parts of the call that are important to you. You can listen to a call at 1.5x or 2x to get through it more quickly, you can listen to just you or the prospect, etc. I also love the dashboards where you can see yourself compared to other reps to understand your strengths and areas of opportunity. It's also SO easy to implement - as a rep I don't even need to think about it and the call records, transcribes, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes calls just don't record for whatever reason and that can be really frustrating. I feel like I still need to backup record the call in another way just in case it's one of the weird times it doesn't work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Continuously improving our sales process and more easily training new reps. Both of those benefits were easily realized and will continue to be realized as the team continues to utilize all of the features included (like adding different folders in the library for trainings).
Awesome tool to know your pipeline health
What do you like best about the product?
It enables me, as a marketing person, to hear first-hand the objections salesmen need to handle.
What do you dislike about the product?
It somewhat gives a big-brother feeling to sales, needs to showcase a value that goes beyond the recording feature - some education for the sales team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It a great way to fine-tune our presentation, enable sales with better objection-handling soundbites, learn on new use cases and trends.

The fact that the G2M calls are being saved automatically on the cloud and I can easily listen to them after, and move promptly between my customers talking sections

Everything. Access to your whole team recordings and very intuitive filters that connect to Salesforce. Very easy to follow the best call strategies

Haven't found anything negative yet, so far only great experience

Listening in on calls doesn't have to take hours. If there's an issue, I get to the root instantly...

What do you like best about the product?
Cool UI (especially after the last upgrade a few months ago), cloud-based, great value.
Fun, simple and easy to use.

The search page is awesome as well.

I wish I would have better search features cross meetings/recordings (cross-company).

In my case, I use Gong as an online library. Just to listen to my previous calls in order to send summaries after the calls.
In addition, in case we have handovers between accounts - I use to listen to the most important sales meeting.

What do you like best about the product?
It is very easy to find the calls you are looking for and the keyword search is fantastic.
What do you dislike about the product?
That their recording service requires you have VOIP enabled in GoToMeeting, I usually have this turned off because clients have poor microphones/speakers on their computers. The other option is to call the conference line via ISDC which is very laggy. Would be great if they had their own conference # or could use the GoToMeeting conference number to record audio.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's great to review rep calls and for coaching. Also to recall what was discussed on a particular deal if you took poor notes.

As a new user, it's not obvious to me when are meetings recorded, and when are they not.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
If missed out on taking minutes of the meeting, Gong is a great way to keep track.

What do you like best about the product?
I can provide my reps with feedback on calls without having to join them in the moment. I listen to their calls on my commute and during off-peak hours. It's also been a huge help for on boarding new reps!
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like them to have an app. It's also not the best for picking up multiple voices on the same call
