Improving My Phone Skills by Listening to Myself
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can focus more on having a conversation with my client instead of taking rigorous notes because I know Gong is recording and I can easily find details as I go back and re-listen. This is helping me have a natural tone and I'm more effective as a salesperson.
What do you dislike about the product?
The way our company has Gong set up to automatically record is by linking a Join.Me URL in a calendar event. I rarely use that Join.Me link so my clients will often click on it thinking it is how they will connect. I have to explain that we actually won't be using that link and they still need to call in manually...
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem of not having a good way to train and improve my phone skills is being solved by Gong. I'm able to review calls, find out filler words or phrases that I can reduce, find out how I can better communicate with a client, and I can listen to my co-workers' calls to see how they operate and how I can change what I do to better myself.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's definitely worth considering if the price is right for you.

Accountability, Training, Learning, Gong Does It All.
What do you like best about the product?
It gives the entire organization the ability to hear both sides of the conversation. Gone are cryptic or incomplete notes in our CRM. It allows us to coach the individual and use it for individual recognition, team training, and to provide insights to people or groups that may otherwise never have the opportunity to hear the full dynamic of what happens on calls
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like the ability to create folders to group like calls.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Much like what I stated in the 'like best' section, we are wanting to hear not only our customer but our employees. From ensuring that tonality is right to the quality of the content and information being discussed, Gong provides the best tool to do so. Our teams appreciate it because the days of having to recap a call multiple times with multiple groups, leaders, executives are gone. We now have a unfiltered and true account of everything that was, or wasn't discussed.

Innovative Sales Software You Should Give a Try
What do you like best about the product?
I am able to really find anything I need from one of my sales persons calls, if a price is mis- quoted I am able to quickly and easily find it and know for sure instead of he said/ she said. Also emotions of the employee are able to be picked up which is also a great tool when we get customer complaint, this will pin point exactly if and where this would have occured during the call.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing I can think of honestly. The software does exactly what we want from it and so far havent had much of any issues, knock on wood. It does exactly what it says it does.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This software brings a whole new meaning to sales analytics. Everything works so smoothly that its almost ineffective not at least giving it a try. I am able to quickly and simply listen to sales reps calls and improve them on the go. Also amazing tool used for employee reviews and also in times of customer complaints.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is an amazing tool for those that have their hand in sales. It brings a whole new perspective to sales field and sales analytics. Simple sales conversions that I haven't seen like it in any of its competitors.

Easily and seemlessly records and transcribes all conversations/demos. Great for coaching feedback in 1:1's and in group demo listening sessions.

Every once in awhile the calls don't record

Coaching. Realizing certain bad phrases or questions... Learning to pause for effect.
Great insights, easy to use and highly collaborative vendor
What do you like best about the product?
The insights gained from this tool are very accurate. In addition to this the team that supports this product is well informed and is able to coach us on how to use the insights. Additionally, the team is very driven to mature the product in a way that supports each area of communication media that I have.
What do you dislike about the product?
The site aims to be simple and highly intuitive. However, it is a little overly simplistic, meaning that there are limitations in how I can use the site. Limited filters and search criteria. This is evolving with each iterative release, so I don't think this is a long term limitation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Onboarding and coaching. We are much quicker to get sales people to a high level of performance.

Take time to understand what problem you are trying to solve by implementing this tool. This will better enable the Gong team to ensure you are successful and see the gains you were hoping to find.
Good sales tool for reviewing game tape.

The fact I can review any demo I've done and hone in on certain points.

The quality of the video recorded isn't always that great.

Being able to go back and understand wrong paths taken during demos.

Pretty good tool for new hires and to review past recordings to sharpen your skills.

There's nothing I dislike! Easy to use and is part of my daily work flow. It's great :)

- Been able to understand where there is room for improvement in my sales calls..for example: the % of the call where I'm talking vs. prospect talking
Fast, Effortless Call Recording
What do you like best about the product?
Gong has been a game-changer for audio recording. In the past, the process of reviewing call recordings was a huge hassle. Being able to search multiple calls by keyword and see a breakdown of who is speaking when have made this process much faster and smoother.
What do you dislike about the product?
The search function isn't perfect, and sometimes it doesn't catch words perfectly. But overall it's a great feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a solid database of recorded calls that have great information, but surfacing that information to the team for research and review can be challenging. Gong makes it easy for us to extract insights from our sales calls and customer interviews.

Don't just use it for sales calls -- it can be a great tool for other teams who need to record internal meetings for future review (especially distributed teams).

Sometimes the sound quality is a bit shaky. Maybe it's just the line I use though.

Not only great for sales, but is fantastic for Customer Success
What do you like best about the product?
The fact that gong will record my webinar/ meetings and then link it to the correct salesforce account is amazing. You don't know how time saving this is. It also breaks down the call and shows how long I spoke and my most common used phrases. In customer success the goal is to teach my end users how to use the platform and I really want to key into how long my client is speaking and engaging in convo. The more they speak the better. Gong gives me the tools to analysis this and then log it into salesforce for reference from not only myself but my whole organization. They also have a fast responding support team. I initially had some hiccups with linking to the correct salesforce account but this was resolved quickly and efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much i dislike. I will say at first I had an issue with the recording linking to the correct salesforce account but this was resolved quickly and efficiently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I know a lot os users use this as a sales tool, but I can't describe to you enough how great this is as a customer success tool. I can quickly look at my call metrics and i'm able to gage account health or predict account health from these metics. If i have a client that doesn't speak often then it cues me into they are either not paying attention or they are not interested in my topic. I can then write correct health notes and tailor my meetings or prepare for a save attempt or even preemptive strike.

Not only a great sales tool it can be used very effectively as a customer success tool.
