What do you like best about the product?
Link of the call to share with prospects.
What do you dislike about the product?
There hasn't been anything I don't like about the platform yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Every call is automatically recorded. I never have to worry about forgetting an important piece of the call. Followup afterward for internal champions by sending them the link to the call. Benefits are providing more detailed followup to prospects.

Taking notes is a thing of the past (and that's a good thing)

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use. gong automatically starts recording all of my calls when scheduled through zoom. I like that I don't have to think about it. It's easy to search for any prior call. Playback sounds good. I especially LOVE how when you are reviewing a call, it shows the points in the call where each person is talking. It makes it so I can see whether I'm talking too much on any given call. Great reflection on calls in general.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike having to log in everyday. I wish gong would keep me logged in.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I love knowing that all of my calls are recorded and stored in gong. It allows me to be more present with customers because I know I can reference any part of our conversation later. I now take lighter notes and can listen better on my calls. That's a win.

A Product Marketer's Secret Weapon

What do you like best about the product?
While most people recognize the obvious value of Gong for sales, Product Marketers need to be getting in on the game. Gone are the days of PMMs sitting quietly on a webex with 6 other ramping new reps. Calls are easy to share and give you direct, on-demand access to the customer voice. There's no better way for a PMM to become a subject matter expert and learn the market than hearing a live call, objection handling, demoing, eureka moments, FUD, and more.
What do you dislike about the product?
Need more analytics. For a product marketer I want to be able to analyze messaging from the field and slice and dice the data to better understand which messaging points the reps are comfortable with, which they are shying away from, and where things are resonating with a prospect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cutting months off of ramp time, learning VOC, objection handling, new hire training, collaboration and alignment with our field team.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure to ask questions on setup and integration. Gong connects right to your calendar and webex platform and just works. Reps don't have to remember to toggle anything, it just runs in the background which means it's "always-on." This is huge for generating massive adoption across lines of business. It's so hard to get reps to adopt anything. Gong proves it's value right out of the box, because it requires no additional effort or expertise from the rep.

What do you like best about the product?
Gong seamlessly records, transcribes, and analyzes scheduled calls with prospects and customers. It's completely intuitive to use and requires almost zero implementation. Every department in the company - from sales to marketing, product, engineering, even the exec team will quickly get tremendous value from being able to surface key insights from calls that may have otherwise slipped into the void.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only honest downside I've experienced is the platform will occasionally misidentify and wrongly label speakers which impacts reporting for reps (talk time, etc.).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong helped us with call coaching, ensuring consistency in our go-to-market messaging, and sharing valuable information and knowledge across departments that would have otherwise been siloed.

Great for easy web conferencing!

What do you like best about the product?
I like how you can track who is talking and what the topic of discussion is. It makes it easy to move to specific parts of the conversation without having to spend excessive time backtracking.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a split screen option so that I may screen share and talk face-to-face with the other person. If there is this feature, I'm just not aware of it!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hosting online demonstrations of our software. Easy to review calls, great to share with incoming employees who are acclimating to the role and need to see what is expected of them.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's great for online demonstrations because both parties can talk, and you can record the conversation and backtrack to specific parts easily.

Always being able to review my calls to recall specific details without missing a beat.

Only gripe is that the articles from marketing often espouse a direct link between correlation and causation. The product is great.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to solicit feedback internally and therefore improve skill set.
Easy to distribute recordings.
Referencing calls retroactively.

What do you dislike about the product?
The video is often a bit grainy. Typically this isn't an issue if you understand the context of what's taking place on the call, but if you're attempting to read anything that's not size 28 font on a PowerPoint slide, then good luck.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Listen to the calls that matter the MOST vs finding the needle in the haystack. Converts the call into a transcript to better search for keywords. Represents the call visually so you don't have to listen to the entire call.

You will not find a better tool to enable your team.

What do you like best about the product?
Really useful when training in a sales role. Helpful to look back at call for note taking. Support is responsive.
What do you dislike about the product?
There seem to be bugs that are still getting worked out. Sometimes the speaker and topics sections don't work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Training and development. Ability to refer back to call for note taking.

Game changer for accountability, notes, and training

What do you like best about the product?
I love being able to go to Gong for calls where I need to remember specific details of a previous call. I also love the coaching capabilities and language analytics. It has made me exponentially more effective as a communicator in both my work and home life.
What do you dislike about the product?
In the past, I wished there were more ways to edit a call before sharing it with a prospect. This is something that has recently been fixed, but I have not tried it out yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Coaching, call replay, and analytics have all impacted me positively. It has saved time in writing pages of notes after a call - maybe this isn't a great thing... but I review previous calls before entering a new call already so it doesn't matter a whole bunch.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I have already recommended Gong to 3 other sales leaders in other organizations. It is a gamechanger and will significantly impact close rates. There are only so many swings... Gong helps to make them really count.
