Great integration partner

What do you like best about the product?
Merge has been a great help to our product integration, making it easy and smooth to ntegrate into a range of complex third party systems (specifically ATS in our case). The APIs are well designed and performant and uptime is great. On top of that support is great and quick to respond with helpful answers and easy access to technical contacts when needed. Definitely recommend Merge for all integration needs to help any company move faster.
What do you dislike about the product?
Keep adding more systems! Always good to have even more integration end points and I know this is a top priority of the Merge team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Merge helps us integrate with a wide range of ATSs.

Merge.Dev is solid for accessing 3rd-Party applications and makes it easier to use!

What do you like best about the product?
The API calling features similate Postman with a Clean UI/UX for most to understand. Simple and Easy Solutions
What do you dislike about the product?
Make it easier to set up Web Hooks! For people like me who are still learning we need to assist people who are still learning with straight forward instructions to be a little more universal but still tailors on how to set up using even your own API documentation. I used this quite a lot before I had to unfortunately shift to Make.com.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It unfortunately was not tailored enough for me to set up a webhook enough that was clear through the documentation. I do love the concept and see the potential! It just couldnt work with my API documentation regarding Paycom.

Loving the Expanding Features and Awesome Support!

What do you like best about the product?
Always Something New: The platform constantly is adding new HR apps and partnerships, while also expanding their capabilities with things like SFTP server support.

Solid Data: From a data quality perspective, Merge has worked as expected which is really important to us as we rollout to customers.

Developer Thumbs Up: Our devs are really happy with the tools they get here— comprehensive guides and easy testing/tooling. Generally a really easy implementation.

Clear Docs for Everyone: We get super detailed docs for each integration that we hand straight to our customers. It clears up a lot of questions upfront and helps everyone stay on the same page.

Support That Gets It: Whenever we hit a bump or have a suggestion, the support team is on it. They really listen and make sure we have what we need.

Overall with all the features, great integration quality, and responsive support, this platform has been a game-changer for us. Definitely happy we chose it.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Merge offers a wide array of integrations, sometimes the depth required for specific / more niche use cases isn’t fully met.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Access to a large number of HR integrations to get employee attribute data.

Best Unified API Provider

  • October 30, 2024
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
We tried using several other providers, but they all fell short with respect to support and product quality. Merge’s team is extremely responsive, and it’s obvious through the product and customer support interactions that they care a lot about making Merge a great experience. We’re glad we made the switch. Not looking back.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few additional categories we would love them to integrate with, but overall no complaints!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Merge is helping us add multiple integrations to our product through one unified API. Without Merge, we would need to hire a team of engineers.

So far we haven't had issues with the service!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Merge's Unified API to integrate once and get access to tens of ATSs.

Massive development speed boost

  • October 28, 2024
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Merge took us from 2 integrations to 50 integrations overnight. It saved us time on authentication, permissioning, fetching, caching, and normalizing in all of our integrations and gave us much better logging and alerting on integration issues in the meantime. They continue to add new integrations and features every week and we're looking forward to continue working with them in the future.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't really think of anything that I dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Merge to integrate with ATS systems more quickly and efficiently.

Stable experience, plethora of integrations

  • October 28, 2024

What do you like best about the product?
For the provided unified integration categories like HRIS and ATS, there are a ton. Like a-ton-a-ton of integrations with many being extremely thoroughly implemented across their models and capabilities (like user management related endpoints or category specific items like ticketing related actions). We're always impressed whenever we browse Merge's capability tables to see how many integrations fit our requirements.

We're pleased with the stability of fetching data from Merge; it is consistent, quality data unlike other vendors who may miss a thing or two (we've noticed sometimes from other vendors data is not refetched at consistent times or return data consistent to an integration). They also release plenty of meta features that we love like force resyncing and passthrough requests, and we were provided flexibility in how often we can perform several background actions on the Merge end. We rarely hit any technical barriers, and our developers have enjoyed their thorough documentation and (in our case, Python and React Merge Link) SDK. In Python, it's rare finding nicely typed libraries, so it has been great using their SDK thus far.

In terms of service, the turnaround speed for many technical related issues is quick. They are quick to letting us know when certain features we want will come out in the future or land in the roadmap.

Overall, Merge provides a consistently solid product and great turnaround service time.
What do you dislike about the product?
They are a unified API product which means some integrations that don't fit their provided categories will probably not be implemented since they go in depth with each integration per category rather than focusing on breadth of categories. I believe they have most of the key categories, and plenty of integrations in each category too. There is no other stable and performant vendor out there that provides the same number of integrations at such quality, thoroughness/deepness of fetching data, and speed of delivery. Out of our vendor choices, even though we'd like to have some integrations that don't fit their categories, the sheer number of integrations that they do provide far outweighs any cons during our vendor consideration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were in need of implementing several integrations, and getting sandboxes is difficult. Merge having done that job already speeds up our sales pipeline where integrations are a must for certain customers and their necessities

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Merge is a great product that solves a real pain point. It saves us time and money, accelerates our ability to monetize, and the support is outstanding.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of anything that I dislike about Merge to be honest.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Merge helped us integrate with a substantial long-tail of systems without spending our own development time building and maintaining them ourselves.

Merge has made our integration process seamless, allowing us to connect multiple tools effortlessly without the need for custom solutions. Its real-time monitoring and error-tracking features have significantly reduced downtime, and their support team is always responsive and helpful. Thanks to Merge, we can now focus more on growing our business and less on technical headaches!
What do you dislike about the product?
There were a couple integrations we couldnt use it for but i know they will get there over time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Simplifying ATS integrations

Worth at least 5 engineers

  • October 10, 2024
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Truly made building integrations SO easy. Merge has erased what would be weeks of project work and given us so much engineering time back.
What do you dislike about the product?
You're reliant on a single service instead of multiple, but hey -- that's the whole point!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Abstracting away building API integrations with multiple services
