Great platform for quickly developing scalable security automations
What do you like best about the product?
Tines has a very easy UI to navigate from a first time user. Having recently worked with new joiners who haven't used a SOAR platform before, they were all able to quickly grasp Tines concepts with relative ease and were able to build and maintain existing workflows we had developed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Change management in Tines is very tough. Ideally, having a "git" like concept in Tines would be amazing because in a large IR team, many people are making many changes and it becomes very difficult to keep track of changes that were made.
Reviewing changes in Tines isn't easy either because there is only one view which is quite small and only shows changes in a JSON format which isn't easy to read and get an understanding of when reviewing changes.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Can rapidly build automations and workflows that would take 2 or 3 times as longer if we had to write actual code instead.

Simplify and accelerate your automation workflow with Tines!
What do you like best about the product?
Tines allows our security team to automate workflows with minimal code, reducing our need to compete with other departments for developer resources and reducing the employee footprint with access to security secrets.
Tines' interface is straightforward, given the extensive feature set of the tool. Once built, engineers allergic to code can reverse engineer rather complex workflows with relative ease - it self-documents. The way the UI is set up invites users to collaborate and learn together.
Their staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable when going through support calls, allowing us to cover a lot of ground per session.

What do you dislike about the product?
One of the downsides of tools as flexible as Tines is that there are a lot of features. The complexity of the workflows makes it a bit harder to gain traction without dedicating IC's time to master the product.
I also want to be a bit careful with the idea of Tines being "No-code." This is true for users attempting to understand or extend upon complex workflows, but the foundation of workflows built with Tines would still benefit from an engineer with some computer engineering background.

New to Tines, wish would've found it sooner.
What do you like best about the product?
Tines is super easy to learn and use, making it a great addition to our environment. The ease of use has enabled us to build out numerous stories in short order and maintain velocity in our fast-paced environment. The amount of time we've saved through Tines has been a huge force multiplier.
What do you dislike about the product?
There have been several features or bugs that we've encountered that have slowed down development but our account team has always been very response in our joint slack channel. We've also had a few issues with lack of advance notice of maintenance windows but again, once we notified our account time of needing more notice they were able to rectify the issue for us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The flexibility and extensibility of what services Tines integrates with has allowed us to scale up and out our automation portfolio quickly and efficiently. We get more consistent results; the stories have low ongoing maintenance requirements; and there's a significant reduction in development time for new stories.
Useful to automate repetitive tasks
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to understand the workflow for building stories. Great for repetitive tasks. Easy integration with other applications and services. Customer onboarding very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Events sometimes need resubmitted to complete the story properly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps automate review of phishing emails integrating with OSINT tools.
The best SOAR product period
What do you like best about the product?
Really powerful and simple automation for any service with an API
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing comes to mind. It's a great product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is saving an immense amount of time by automating routine and mundane tasks. Also, it's allowing us to connect disparate APIs with ease.
Tines Newbie, but so far I'm loving it!
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use. Going through the partner training was especially useful, learning how to pull in actions, define datapaths, and run events to test - all very simple! I enjoyed seeing the help text when determining datapaths, too; extremely helpful. The training videos Yani made are fantastic!
What do you dislike about the product?
In surveys, sometimes it is acceptable to write "not applicable," which, in this case, is true. Since I am brand new training on Tines, and automation platforms as a whole, I do not have a critique at this time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am training for the partner cert to expand my automation platform skillsets. I understand there will be future automation requirements in projects in which Tines will benefit my organization greatly.
Review of TINES
What do you like best about the product?
Its amazing how the solution works to remove manual tasks and make them automated.
What do you dislike about the product?
Haven't come across much to dislike at this point in time
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using TINES to automatically query applications to pull back user data and have it analysed for continued use.
Tines saves our security team so much time!
What do you like best about the product?
It saves our team so much time by not closing alerts manually. It removes noise from our daily job. By automating some processes, it allows our users to verify security alerts on their own, instead of us having to reach out to them.
What do you dislike about the product?
It does take a little time to get familiar with how tines work. You need to learn how to use it before you can utilize all its benefits to your security team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to automate the process of closing excessive alerts, especially duplicate alerts and alerts that are not that serious. By using Tines to automate this process, our team is able to spend our time focusing on more serious alerts.
Great platform, easy to use and saves a lot of time and effort.
What do you like best about the product?
The easy no-code automation Tines offers is excellent.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, I haven't found anything that I dislike about Tines
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tines increase our work rate and eliminate chances of human error.
The ease and flexibility of Tines
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to be able to create many levels of complexity in automation workflows without the need for coding expertise is invaluable to our org.
What do you dislike about the product?
Working with hyper specific APIs can sometimes lead to headache within Tines.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Within a security operations team we have many different alerts/events we need to triage all within different levels of response time. With using Tines, we are able to time box are most important tasks with automation which alleviates some of the stress that comes with responding to these events.
