A flexible and simple automation solution.
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it has a large variety of prebuilt templates for integration with other tools or systems. Additionallyy, if the template doesn't already exist, it is easy to add new ones.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have missed the possibility of adding logic to the connections between actions. Since the logic is contained inside the actions, sometimes the same conditional needs to be repeated in several action nodes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Like with many automation solutions, Tines is helping us reduce the time that our analysts need to dedicate to tasks with no added value. A benefit particular to Tines is that the web-oriented structure of the stories makes it simple for partial solutions to be added as buttons in other portals or dashboards.

A great no-code automation platform!
What do you like best about the product?
Tines gives users the ability to automate their security operations in an easy (no code or low-code) way, without having to spend hours going through API docs. It's easy to get started and test the platform without having to talk to a salesperson or enter credit card details.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't think I ever run into any questions that would not be answered in the community Slack or via Intercom quickly. Nothing comes to mind in this section - while no product is perfect all the time, Tines team is very receptive to feedback and very supportive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tines gives the ability to automate security workflows and eliminate manual, redundant tasks - thereby saving time, and allowing people to focus on high-value work.
Love automation with Tines
What do you like best about the product?
ability to very easily interact with APIs and webhooks and JSON responses.
What do you dislike about the product?
The documentation is not as detailed as I would like. There should be more liquid samples of different scenarios.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automation between systems and bandwidth for small team.
Nice Platform
What do you like best about the product?
The easiness of creating different actions. The HTTP request action is something that I liked the most.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the downside is that for one group we can create only one story (maybe we can create more, but I am not aware of the process).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For a developer, the HTTP Action is very useful as the edge cases and other stuff regarding API calls are handled by default.
Love the interface
What do you like best about the product?
still in the learning stage, but impressed with the cool features and how easy integration is.
What do you dislike about the product?
Errors could be more informative. It would also help if Tines could point out where exactly the mistake's happening in the story.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps to manage security monitoring and take action on it. if deployed fully, it could help in integrating all the steps and reduce effort for our security engineers.
Using Tines for automation
What do you like best about the product?
Tines doesn't require you to know coding extensively. The seven actions are very useful and helps us build out almost anything we want. Support is very helpful!
What do you dislike about the product?
There are not too many things we dislike about it. Possibly the user interface right now, but I think that is more of getting used to the new platform. We are just getting started but so far, I'm sure once we get more in the weeds, we can do a better assessment if anything needs improvement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tines is providing our team with a quicker time to value. Testing, checking or troubleshooting where the error might be is much easier than the previous SOAR we had. That has improved our teams productivity for building stories or playbooks quite a bit.
A SOAR tool that isn't vendor specific
What do you like best about the product?
A logical user interface that works the way a human thinks through a decision tree will work.
Versioning on the stories to help prevent the unintentional change problem.
Helpful slack support for direct communication with the team.
Not a giant vendor so they care about their customer's success and making their tool work for them.

What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside that I found was being assigned a name for the instance, instead of being able to provide a unique one to utilize.
That and that there is no versioning on the resources and credentials
That and that there is no versioning on the resources and credentials
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tines help to reduce the amount of time a resource has to commit to solving a problem by automating several tasks that are repeative turning what used to be a 30min job into a 3 min job.
Great SOAR platform!
What do you like best about the product?
Tines makes automating the simple things, simple! I love how easy the tool is to build complex workflows and keep all of the components in front of you.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that Tines did expose a larger code viewscreen, so that we could write complex functions easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tines is solving the security automation problem. Whether we are talking about compliance audits or investigations they are great!
Finally, a vendor agnostic SOAR platform that's flexible and minimal in the best way.
What do you like best about the product?
Tines isn't locked in to any particular vendor. It has support for dozens of different apps and platforms. The new formulas have made writing automations extremely quick and easy. I've found native support for every automation I've built so far.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times, the interface can be a little clunky, specifically when trying to edit strings or create new pills. There's a fair learning curve involved when you first get started, but eventually it all just clicks and building automations becomes quick and painless.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For us, Tines helps us automate some of our operational work, especially as it relates to alerting and detection. We leverage it to automatically enrich our detections with additional context from third-party sources.
Automation and Logging Combined!
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate the automation that's built into the events system.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be frustrating to learn the event system initially. Documentation around what is / isn't an object in liquid can be confusing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tines is solving a no-infra logging and incident response system.
