Easy and Fast integrations with Webhook and Email Sources

  • February 28, 2023
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Tines allow for fast and easy configuration of workflows with options for delayed events and verbose logic control. Tines also provides templates and easy Import/Export of workflows.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unfortunately, Tines does not allow you to upload sample events or set additional parameters for use cases like Prod and Sandbox environments. Additionally, you can't run custom code like Javascript, all operations have to be in the workflow blocks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tines provides automated workflows for permission authorization and account generation in several systems. Additionally, Tines receives alerts and communicates with employees through our corporate communication program.

Great Cloud Automation Product.

  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that while it's geared mostly towards security tools, you can also enhance it's value by adding non-security tools to the workflows. The pre-and-post sales support is also very accessible and agile.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI makes it a bit difficult to find some features and functions. For instance, some places you're expected to scroll to access things, or right click, but those hints aren't strongly conveyed in the UI.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're using Tines for three main processes: onboarding, offboarding, and security data feed enrichment. It's helping us by reducing the manual, error-prone process by consuming and using data sources that are already validated and verified.

Some of the best security software I have ever used

  • February 12, 2023
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Working in Tines is extremely satisfying. Tines as a package is really polished and enables you to quickly create, test, and maintain security automation workflows. I have learned a lot about software and programming from this platform, despite it being "low code".
What do you dislike about the product?
The documentation could use some improving, but it is still helpful in many areas.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Building security automation within a SaaS product solves the problem of maintaining overengineered, complex, scattered code over a number of repositories. It also enables people that are not traditionally developers to become a part of the process.

Awesome experience with tons of extensibility

  • February 09, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love the community-driven story library. Having pre-built stories using different technologies enables newcomers and existing customers to see what other problems the community is automating and evaluate if it adds value to their own deployment. Seeing how others, like me, have automated processes and workflows with the same technologies is great for ROI.
What do you dislike about the product?
In my experience, most security solutions have a ramp-up period that's required to get value out of the solution. While Tines has their story library, it can be challenging to configure complex stories to function fully. Though Tines has documentation and a basic set of training videos, I would have liked to have seen more content to help train non-developers. Like many companies, Sales Engineers can be used to bridge the gap in customer training.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping me save time and drive consistency with my team by automating manual processes or taking technical workflows and bringing them to other non-technical stakeholders to take action

What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity, ease, and speed at which I can prototype solutions/ automations.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some subtle nuances when using their formulas/functions that aren't clearly documented/
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tines allowed me to develop a workflow that automatically remediate MDM compliance issues with our asset fleet.

Great product and a game changer solution in the security automation

  • January 24, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The first and most important thing is it's easy to use and has only 7 action points. We can automate anything that has an API with these action points.

Cool and very promising solution for automating various security events.
What do you dislike about the product?
None as of now. The tool is easy to use and complete documentation is available on the website. Almost all significant use cases have been given in their resources.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
TInes is a great Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) solution. The other Security Orchestration, Automation and Response tools I have used needs months of work to customize and automate the first incident response. With tines, you can do it in less than an hour.

Its easy to use :

What do you like best about the product?
I am leading the SOAR team and using the SOAR from different vendors, which was entirely based on languages and scripts, this is the first and easiest tools from SOAR prespective, you just need to know the logic and use it with available boxes and your work is done.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I should recommend, your course content is very clear without a doubt however, before heading to expert assessemtn increase more lab exercises.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is automating multiple things for us, like yesterday we have integrated with our teams channel and if we click on link available on teams from backend Tines will help us to get the result from Virus total and other reputations sources to get the IP or domain details.

It is reducing lot of manual efforts just with the simple logics.

Tines provide easy automation with pain free coding

  • January 20, 2023
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Tines is an easy tool with built-in templates that helps us create stories with little coding. It provides easy and simplified automation. It also enables SOC team to utilize SOAR capabilities without any depth knowledge on APIs. Ability to reuse parts of playbooks and share with other teams. The best part of Tines is that it integrates into any service that has an API.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing much to dislike for now. But for the complex automation part, we need to add some variables within the code part.In case if you have no idea for coding, it will create little confusion, but there are action templates that will help out to figure things.3 labs are available for free, I hope more labs will be added to get some more clarity on the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tines is an easy-to-use platform for creating SOAR workflows.es automation very fast without any coding. It helps to build any logic or stories in a shorter period using action templates. It's suitable for SOC and also reduces the time for response.

Awesome Product, Awesome People!

  • January 19, 2023
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Excellent product UI/UX allows me to create automative capabilities easily and efficiently. Tines has become a staple in my workflow for personal projects, enabling me to create custom content for learning and for training!
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much, if anything that I dont like. Everything that I need is explained very well in the Documentation, new releases are dropped every couple of weeks, and the development team really take your throughts and ideas on board when it comes to improving the platform!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Speed and efficiency are the reasons that I leverage Tines in my personal workflows. The ability to correlate multiple custom data streams that I create using cloud functions, coupled with the sheer speed of the platform and the efficacy of the team behind Tines makes this an excellent platform of choice for me!

Automate repetitive tasks with Tines

  • January 18, 2023
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Adding additional functionality to stories is very simple and the drag and drop interface makes it very easy to follow the existing flow or to add extra steps to another persons story
What do you dislike about the product?
Times when you need to get under the hood and and write code within Tines can be a bit clunky but thankfully this is a fairly rare occurrence. The credential refreshing workflow can be a bit awkward to get used to on the free account but is automated on the paid plans.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automation of repetitive tasks as well as gluing external services together and presenting the consolidated data to the end user. As long as you have API access to external services for Tines to integrate with it can save a lot of time.
