Great Service

What do you like best about the product?
It is very easy to get up and running with the SendGrid API and it performs very well. The service has been stable with no major issues for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features are a little limited like batch sending with subusers. The service is a little on the expensive side.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed an email sending partner to process millions of emails each month and SendGrid's service and infrastructure has been up to the task.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a very good product that is stable, performs well, and has good customer support. It is a little expensive when compared to other options, but you get what you pay for and SendGrid delivers. I would recommend SendGrid to anyone.

Powerful but easy

What do you like best about the product?
It's rare that a company has a product that can be learned quick and used immediately, but is also insanely powerful and capable of enterprise-level usage.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some UI's could be slightly clearer and more obvious.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We need to send lots of reminders and notifications. Having quick access to statistics on these mails is essential, especially any rejected or blocked emails.

What do you like best about the product?
Excellent documentation. Their feature set has expanded recently (dynamic templates available in the API), so I appreciate that the service keeps getting better.
What do you dislike about the product?
On my dream list, I wish email logs included a view / rendering of the email.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All of our triggered emails for the Join It SaaS platform goes through SendGrid.

SendGrid: Long Overdue Solution for Us

What do you like best about the product?
There are a number of strong features in SendGrid. The top two we probably benefit from the most are the API and the reporting. The API makes it simple for our SaaS platform to send e-mails - both from our system to clients, and from our system on behalf of clients (e.g. marketing e-mails). And the API is simple to use and can be integrated in a matter of hours.
What do you dislike about the product?
The last I reviewed their features, the tools they provide to manage sub-users could be more well developed. We create sub-users to represent each of our clients so that we can track their activity separately. Note: the sub-user feature may be more developed now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There are a number of ways to send e-mail messages programatically. But SendGrid gives our messaging efforts and sound structure. But probably the greatest benefit is the reporting. Tracking things like e-mail opens and bounces takes a lot of development time. SendGrid takes care of these issues for you - allowing you to focus on your core business objectives.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
To be honest, I am not familiar with all of competing products on the market - I know there are at least a couple that would probably give SendGrid strong competition. But we have felt that SendGrid provides good value for money, has helped us reduce development time in regard to messaging, and intend to continue working with their platform.

SendGrid Makes Creating Email Marketing Campaigns Easy

What do you like best about the product?
Sendgrid has so many functions available and is quite easy to use, even for beginners. Whether you're sending a monthly newsletter or weekly email campaigns, SendGrid has what you need to create and replicate your templates, upload your email lists, and check stats after sending your campaigns.
What do you dislike about the product?
For someone who isn't at all familiar with html, creating or modifying some aspects of the email campaigns can be a bit challenging. I've also experienced troubles when it comes to emails getting clipped even when test-emails don't.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SendGrid has allowed us to condense our email efforts into less programs because of the different options in SendGrid. Since the platform is easy to use, just about anyone on the team can go in and use it.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take your time exploring the platform first before starting to send out email campaigns. You may discover functions that are useful along the way, so don't be scared to click on anything.

What do you like best about the product?
Integrates easily with a variety of tools. I like the support prompt reply with detailed solution for the problem so far best support received. Its easy to use with great amount of flexibility
What do you dislike about the product?
similar pricing to MailChimp, reporting has been changed to 3days and unsubscribed is only given to preferred unsubscribed option, it was misprinted in the documented.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Used for our monthly and weekly newsletters and also for self promotion of the products with transnational mails are amazing

What do you like best about the product?
Simple and Effective. Our services are dependant on SendGrid email and it has worked flawlessly. Great work.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I don't like is not being able to see the history for more than 1 month. I understand there are limitations and also we could keep our own history.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We heavily rely on sending alarms via email to our customers. We need something that works all the time and SendGRID is great.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great product, would not consider anything else at the moment.
