Phenomenal deliverability
What do you like best about the product?
Sendgrid has exceptional deliverability - around 99% in my experience. No other email provider even comes close.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a dislike so much as a "wishlist." I wish it were easier to use it as a full-on autoresponder, rather than having to also have a "front end" through my shopping cart or other more user friendly interface.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest issue for me was that new customers weren't receiving their welcome email/login details. We had a ton of customer service issues because of it, but once we integrated Sendgrid with our cart, those issues have pretty much vanished. Now it's rare that we hear from a customer who didn't get their login credentials.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's well worth the cost, but if you're not technically inclined, definitely get someone else to set it up for you.

What do you like best about the product?
Sendgrid is the only user friendly and flexible marketing software at affordable rates!!!

there are fewer bands, if only they can use more bands or categories for different users

i am able to send bulk mail with ease and very fast

try Sendgrid and you get value for your money. i havent been disappointed for the past 3 years i have been using sendgrid

everything is straight forward and intuitive
Ther r was easy to find guidance online and sendgrid resources were easy to follow for someone who knows nothing about the platform.
The website was always well presented and there was no issue finding help in the website.

What do you dislike about the product?
Not many suggestions on application of your many tools
Not knowing anything about the platform there was nothing that caught me or suggested I use other features.
I was able to get done specificially what I went in to do but I didint find any other interesting tools along the way

we had a text platform set up through twilio and another platform we use for scheduling. send grid bridged the gap between apis for us\
with the send grid integrations we were able to connect two of our most used platforms

Recommendations to others considering the product:
It would be useful if Send Grid provided more information or promotional suggestions on how else the platform can be applied. For the less educated user I had to jump back to youtube for alot of basic explanations on the use of send grid. We did have a sort of unconventional use of the platform but we do use other vendors for email newsletters and blasts, we didnt give any thought to turning to you for other support in the area.
Sendgrid for a Mobile Commerce Company
What do you like best about the product?
SendGrid has reliably been an email partner with our company for over 3 years. Their service is reliable and reasonably priced.
What do you dislike about the product?
We see broader uses for SendGrid in omni-channel marketing but we are just not beginning to take advantage of this capability.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We require that transaction receipts and registration emails dependably arrive (not sent to junk / spam) to our customers. SendGrid provides this capability.
Best Bang for Buck!
What do you like best about the product?
Sendgrid allows me to send my emails direct through its servers from my preferred email client using the address I've associated with it, rather than forcing use of its own web interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
Other than being a cheapskate who wishes everything was free, nothing!
An update:
Since I wrote my initial review of Sendgrid, it has been acquired by Twilio. The fallout from that is not terrible, but I wouldn't describe it as especially positive either. Prices have increased, and sending from my preferred email client was made more difficult (from a standpoint of having to set up everything again) by ending the ability to use an SMTP username/password and requiring generation and use of API keys instead.
On the whole, I still appreciate Sendgrid. I haven't found a better deal for the money for my personal use case (sending op-ed columns to a large list of newspapers three times a week). My impression is that Twilio has added several new features to the service. While they're not applicable to my use case, they may be to yours.

Sendgrid seamlessly handles bounces/bad addresses so that I can keep my list clean. It also proactively addresses spurious additions of its servers to spam lists like Spamcop so that my emails actually get delivered.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Everyone's needs vary, but at its price point Sendgrid was clearly the best option for my product and niche.

We chose SendGrid for transactional email knowing that there is more to take advantage of there. Setup was simple and it's been solid.

Haven't used it enough to find things to dislike - so far nothing.

Excellent Cloud Email Service
What do you like best about the product?
I like the easy of use of sendgrid email API. I am using sendgrid email service more than 5 years and we are so happy with it. The analytics, event webhook are great features.
What do you dislike about the product?
I believe the portal can be improved a bit. The activity page in the portal should have feature to group the records by email address and subject.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
we are using sendgrid to send transaction email from all of our applications. the sendgrid service is very reliable and we never had any problems so far. Sendgrid support team also provides you the email dump on request.
It's a solid mail service
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to implement api easily - with no real overhead.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much to dislike - really. We still get the product free! We only use it for a portion of our service : client email delivery within their admin panel.

Email reliability. Transactional and site based.

More marketing tie in , more like infusionsoft in terms of process building.

Eventual consistency is good in many systems, but can lead to confusing behavior.
