In over 5 years of using the SendGrid application we have never experienced one issue.
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use. SendGrid is transparent to our process.

I do not have any dislikes with the system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Simple, economical deployment.

What do you like best about the product?
I primarily use the SendGrid API equipping websites with reliable email delivery. SendGrid's WordPress plugin takes minutes to set up and is completely reliable. The cativity activity installed by the plugin in the WordPress dashboard makes it easy to see that delivery is happening as expected. The plugin makes it easy to verify correct setup and see that my clients are, indeed, receiving a flow of email (even when I am not the recipient).
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not much I don't like about SendGrid. If there were any room for improvement, it would be simplifying the user interface in the web dashboard. I do sometimes need to dig around to find things. One possible improvement might be to add a way to star or favorite frequently used sections. For instance, I'm typically interested in reviewing existing APIs or generating new ones. Being able to favorite these functions would be faster than digging through several levels of menus.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
MOst people don't realize how poor mail delivery can be using the default services provided by website hosts. Most of my clients are online to generate leads, and there simply no room for a dropped transactional email or missing contact form enquiries. Using the SendGrid WordPress plugin and SendGrid API simply makes these problems go away. Since adopting the SendGrid mail API, I've had literally zero client complaints about lost transactional emails or undelivered contact form enquiries.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There's never a downside to improved email deliverability.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of setup and the user interface is simple to use. The reports are great too.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't really say I dislike anything, the service is solid and priced right.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using the API lets me integrate with Clickfunnels easily so I can use my funnels without worry

The ease of finding guides for implementing the api and the company's reputation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Finding how to verify a domain required some searching (and a guide).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sending transactional email and log notifications from the server. Everything mentioned was easy to implement and test.

What do you like best about the product?
Send Grid does a great job sending all of the emails for my site. I have tens of thousands of visitors each month who receive emails and send grid helps me. It saves my site from being marked as spam and helps ensure that emails get delivered favorably. It also sped up my site because when I was processing all those emails through my own server, my site was failing constantly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have had no issues with Send Grid - someone set it up for me and my site has run well with SendGrid ever since!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By sending emails it has helped my site stay up and running. When my own server was sending the transactional emails, my server would fail. Send Grid keeps me in business by sending the emails and also by making sure they are delivered favorably and my server is not marked as a spam server.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I had someone set mine SendGrid up. I don't believe it is difficult but I delegated to someone I know could do it quickly and easily.

What do you like best about the product?
It's so easy to see what has been sent through my websites. If there are problems with a mail delivery, I can see what the error is.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. Everything works fine. The only issue would be my password program sometimes causes issues with the API. That's not a Send Grid problem though.

All email is delivered.
I can monitor delivery errors such as Gmail blocking Yahoo. (it happens a lot)

If you are having issues with your website's email forms going through or going to SPAM, this is the solution.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that i can use sendgrid from any wordpress instance i use and it works to send emails.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dont have too many dislikes from sendgrid, i also dont use all it has to offer. I guess I can always complain about price, It would be nice if it was free. But nothing in the world is free haha.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Some hosting accounts have issues with deliverability coming from Wordpress. SendGrid solves that as an SMTP.

It is a great SMTP service i hope to use more of what it has to offer in the future.
Used to be a supporter - Now, they have lost their way

I used to be a strong supporter - even after changes to their offerings required me to upgrade from a $14.95/ month account to $89.95.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have previously written positive reviews about SendGrid, but recently, credentials for SendGrid users has been posted to the Internet (their fault?) and in my opinion, their reaction to it has been lacking common sense and have caused damage to my business by deleting my access without notification in response.
1. They have not fully disclosed to all of their users that there was an information breach - I know this because I have multiple accounts
2. It seems like they haven't even disclosed it to all of their agents (I spent hours working through fixing a compromised account and the agent did not share with me that there was a breach, knowing that I am launching an internal investigation into how the account could have been compromised. This was early on.
3. They simply deleted my access one day without notice - If you are using this for real-time email sending to customers, that is a big problem
4. Their agents have been sending threatening messages demanding is make changes to my opt-in lists. I don't have opt-in lists - I only send emails on requested internal app activities...
5. I have requested multiple times to speak with a supervisor and those requests have been ignored.
I have many more things I could say, but at this point, I don't think they are trustworthy

Sending on demand emails is easy now and delivery has only been a problem when people have marked the email as SPAM themselves
Easy to use: gives us insights we couldn't get before
What do you like best about the product?
We love using Sendgrid as our email service because it gives us such good insight into deliverability. Before we used Sendgrid, when we had customer say "We didn't get your email, " we had no idea what could have gone wrong. But the detail available from Sendgrid allows us to see what is happening and fix things that are going wrong. We also love the suppression features that help protect our email reputation.

We currently get 30 days of history. Sometimes it would be nice to be able to access more. Mostly, though, 30 days is enough.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Insight into email delivery to our customers. The benefits are better customer service. Often we can nip problems in the bud by the early warning that our emails aren't making it through.

Stats not always 100% accurate when comparing to the actual sending account.
