Extremely happy with SendGrid
What do you like best about the product?
The API/Software Integration is a breeze and very easy to use. The reports are easy to generate and to understand. As well as the documentation and training information.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing! SendGrid meet all of our needs and then some. We have had no issues and do not expect to have any problems.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Marketing e-mails, Sending bulk e-mail from our applications. Allowing end user to send e-mails from our applications.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
No need to evaluate any other system.

Powerful but easy
What do you like best about the product?
It's rare that a company has a product that can be learned quick and used immediately, but is also insanely powerful and capable of enterprise-level usage.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some UI's could be slightly clearer and more obvious.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We need to send lots of reminders and notifications. Having quick access to statistics on these mails is essential, especially any rejected or blocked emails.
Excellent Choice
What do you like best about the product?
Easy setup was the primary factor for me. But once connected the deliverability was immediate. No more lost billing emails. This reduced phone support time due to customers not recieving invoicing and subsequent late fee notices. Sendgrid solved a big headache for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the private IP option were a bit cheaper, but realize most may not need this feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Email reliability. Our billing platform now has 100% high open rates due to not being caught in spam filters.
Great resources, simple-to-use tool, amazing activity feed

My team relies on the activity feed. It is a powerful tool that allows us to monitor our domain health and general audience engagement.

It would be great if you could create triggered email flows.

Email acquisition, and email marketing

The user interface that is very easy to use. Even without coding experience you can use it.

It doesnt have many ready made templates that can be used straight away but you need to upload yours.

Perfect solution for my small web design/dev business
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of setting up API integrations with my client's WordPress sites. I do not have email services setup on my server for security reasons. SendGrid makes it easy to send mail from the sites on my servers and easily track deliver-ability when my clients say they haven't received something (which is 100% of the time user error).
What do you dislike about the product?
I have found the SendGrid service incredibly reliable. I have not yet had any issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sending emails from contact forms on my client's websites has always been unreliable. SendGrid has 100% fixed this issue and it's incredibly easy to setup.
Great e-mail marketing tool
What do you like best about the product?
It gets us a higher completion (inbox) rate than other options

not much to be honest, I have been consistently surprised with how well it works.

We use it for targeted marketing campaigns and it ensures our customers are always up to date with the latest benefits we offer, something that customers wouldn't have voluntarily gone to the site for

try it out and see for yourself. Very worth taking a few days to make sure whatever you decide, that sendgrid has been part of the decision process.

Easy to integrate, love the reporting

So easy to use and integrate, we were sending emails from Drupal 8 in under a half hour time.

We really haven't had a bad experience so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were worried about email deliverability coming from our web server, and also needed a log of all emails that were being sent in case we needed to troubleshoot. The reporting was an added bonus that now we really think we couldn't live without.
Good docs. Always improving.

Excellent documentation. Their feature set has expanded recently (dynamic templates available in the API), so I appreciate that the service keeps getting better.
What do you dislike about the product?
On my dream list, I wish email logs included a view / rendering of the email.
