Great user experience
What do you like best about the product?
Delegating is a core competency these days, and Asana makes that easy. When working with offsite teams or larger groups on key projects with can't-be-missed deadlines, Asana is perfect. Their mobile app is also quite useful for participating in projects on the go. It's a very text-based tool, so go with Asana (vs. more visual tools) if you like making lists.
What do you dislike about the product?
More features = more clutter, and the interface definitely got clunkier as tools got more sophisticated. Some things (like adding subheads to tasks within a project) aren't intuitive, but another good thing about Asana is you can always undo your mistakes!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaborating is easier with Asana, especially with offsite folks. Task management and assignment
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you like a text-based tool for your project management, go with Asana. It's not as visual as other tools, but that's something that I really liked about it.

Asana makes the ride worthwhile
What do you like best about the product?
The app function of Asana is awesome! It's very useful for task management and updating projects, even when you're not on your desk. Ideal for team setups that are spread out in different locations.

None - I've had a very positive experience with the tool thus far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Best software for solving task management. It works in small teams and I think with good governance it can work with larger ones.
Excellent application
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best is the ease of use and easy communication with my collaborators to manage the activities, constantly allows me to be active in my activities and assign my colleagues activities so that we can be synchronized almost instantly. The ease of creating profiles in the system is very good, although I would prefer to centralize the activation of users and not have to separate the pending activities by company views.
What do you dislike about the product?
The limited customization of notifications, I think it's something that can be improved, as well as the views to determine the most urgent activities, it would be good to include a way to prioritize activities so that we can give attention to the most important ones. Another point to improve is the possibility of marking progress on tasks; there are times when I can't finish an activity but it's at 75% and I have no way to indicate that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Improvement in the assignment of activities, it is very good for keeping a record of what we have already completed, as well as keeping activities organized to know which one is due first.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is necessary to finish polishing the app's aesthetics and perhaps create a desktop version.
Great collaboration tool with robust options
What do you like best about the product?
I love the depth of detail I can add to Asana. I can create projects, tasks, subtasks, etc. and keep tabs on everything as the project leader. I can assign my colleagues to each line item, add a due date, and keep track of the workflow across multiple projects at the same time with relative ease. I like the mobile app, as well!
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the level of detail is confusing for my colleagues, but I would venture to guess this is a people problem, not a software problem.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've eliminated too many cooks in the kitchen, and I can delegate quickly and efficiently without writing 10 emails.
Asana has saved my business 10x over
What do you like best about the product?
No matter which projects I am running, I never let things fall through the cracks thanks to Asana. Before it, I couldn't expand my business, my mind was crammed to the brim and I was scrambling to stay on top of all my clients. Now it's smooth sailing and, best of all, FREE of charge.
What do you dislike about the product?
My clients easily become overwhelmed with tasks if I delegate, so I use Asana solo only.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I love Asana for MY business, but not in others' businesses. It does not integrate with email and causes overwhelm to others who are new to the program.

Clear UI, easy to collaborate. We can use Asana for a variety of tasks and then template those tasks to save time in the future.

It can be hard to organize projects in the sidebar when there are many of them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We publish a large number of open access journals and need to coordinate this work across a growing team. Asana lets us both track and assign work much more flexibly with less hierarchy.
Great Organization Tool
What do you like best about the product?
It's great to be able to track many different lists and be able to comment with fellow team members.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you do have a lot of lists, it can be difficult to keep track of all your tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana has helped better organize what needs to be done on all of our various projects. Instead of relying on email, Asana allows us to keep everything that needs done in front of the entire team.
Easy-to-use project management tool for beginners
What do you like best about the product?
It's very intuitive and easy on the eyes, as well as easy to understand.
What do you dislike about the product?
The PMI options (dependencies, deviations, recalculations) are all paid features, which is why you should use it as a communications tool for projects, unless you're paying.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Handling multichannel projects with several users, and having all the solutions on a cloud-based solution.

Asana is effective for collaboration and follow up
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the ability to create action items and keep track of what tasks have yet to be address. I also like that you can copy boards so that you don't have to create everything from scratch! I also like the simple and clean design.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much I dislike! I think it's easy to use! Maybe offer different colors for profiles with no pictures so we can easily distinguish instead of relying on initials.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use this to keep track of our biweekly retros and track things that worked and things that didnt as well as to hold ourselves accountable when we don't follow up on action items. It's also beneficial because we can assign tasks to team members and it clearly points out who is who.
Simple setup and simple to use
What do you like best about the product?
It offers a wide range of features for those who want to keep it simple and for those who want to get a little more into the weeds.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are sometimes I feel like the features can be a little overwhelming when training someone new to the software.

It is helping me and my team become more organized and efficient with our projects.
