super easy to use!
What do you like best about the product?
asana is super easy to use and really seamless. it's fantastic to use for teams and helps create accountability for both direct line staff and leaders.
What do you dislike about the product?
nothing! easy to use and folks really stay accountable!

creating team accountability as well as more efficient and effective time management.

Excellent project management tool and personal to-do-list
What do you like best about the product?
• Excellent to do list
• Excellent tagging and cross-project to do lists.
• New kanban board functionality makes my other board productivity apps redundant (I can do everything virtually from asana)
• Always developing new things
• Free version has vast usability
• The app makes it highly usable across multiple devices
• Integrates with other things like Google Calendar

What do you dislike about the product?
Not much to dislike to be honest. Could have more background design features. It would be nice to have a button to switch lists into board mode at will. VERY minor dislikes. This online app is one of the best I have found. There could be better options in reports. I also wish that when you make projects, that the headings in your projects would stay static so that if you sort the tasks in a project then the tasks would sort underneath their headings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project management. What an amazing tool. Helps me in planning, strategy, managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Most productivity apps have free versions like this so feel free to try all at once. After a few days you will find that the apps you can't ignore (like asana for me) will be your long term app. Asana offers a really no risk investment being free and you will find that it is tremendously useful. I was also you using Trello in conjunction with Asana, but with Asana's new 'board' functionality I have suddenly had no need for Trello anymore.
Great project management tool

The calendar tool lets you see all planned marketing activities. The assigned due dates also keep you organized and help you prioritize things.
What do you dislike about the product?
Haven't found any dislikes in the software yet.

Project management, prioritization, organization. It's a very good organization tool and helps keep priority projects top of mind.
Asana- Useful for Optimizing Workflow and Organizing Teams
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is incredible for being able to break down tasks into small and easy to finish pieces. You can have projects with many members, or solo assignments.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be confusing to find all of the information needed depending on how the organizer has set up the task.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Multi-step conference planning and long term deadlines are particularly well suited to Asana's style.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Asana is worth giving a try if you have a detailed oriented leader who wants to make sure that all team members stay on track.
Poor management software - too busy in the interface. too long to set up.

I did like the interface. I enjoyed it for my own personal management and project tracking.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found that other staff were difficult to buy into it because of it's technical nature. It did not have enough tutorial for new users.

I had been trying to manage a team that worked at odd hours. They were young, so they know the technical side, but they were unimpressed.

Take your time to set it u- I was moving too fast when I was trying to set it up for my team.
Easy to use, excellent UI, plenty of features
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite thing about Asana is how much it enables you to continue using it. With the ability to sync with any of your calendars, you are able to completely stay on top of all of your tasks at hand. Because of this, using Asana is a breeze.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that I wish Asana had was a dedicated application for MacOS and Windows. Sometimes it's just another browser tab/window that is taking up space. I would love to be able to have it as a desktop application which can handle alerts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Asana to handle our due dates and make sure that our developers are on top of when their current projects are due. With the developers knowing when their projects are due, we are able to deliver our projects and products to customers in a timely manner.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely take on Asana. It is a great product and when implemented with programs such as Slack it can become so powerful. With Slack you can have your deadlines appear from Asana directly in the chat, or private message your employees reminding them that things are due on a specific date. With Asana it has never been easier to keep on top of all of your current tasks.

No dislikes. It's super easy to use and navigate.

I work full time and have a thriving small business so it helps me balance my work load and keep track of it all.
Great for tasks and collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
This is a really great program! I use this as my to-do list in the office and my co-workers and I use this to collaborate on projects and map them out in a timeline of due dates. You can assign different tasks to people and see their progress. This has helped us a great deal!
What do you dislike about the product?
I love that I can see all of my tasks as well as what my team is working on. It's a great way to keep all of our projects organized!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were having issues with communication and see projects from beginning to end and now we can track it and see progress of others. It helps us stay organized and hitting timelines and goals!

I would highly recommend this as it has really helped productivity in our office!

cross platform syncing and unified experience, easy tagging of colleagues, and 3rd part app integrations.

premium pricing model is not very flexible. reliance on 3rd party apps for core functionality

Company-wide tool with limited personal usefulness
What do you like best about the product?
I like that my colleagues can assign tasks to me for projects they are managing. It provides visibility into dependencies they need from me.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't love the interface and that the I can't set tasks to show in due date order by default. If I don't notice it has changed order, then I miss tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're trying to solve project management, especially from a cross-departmental collaboration perspective.
