Great task manager
What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is to manage tasks, you can organize work comfortably and assign tasks to colleagues without complications, it is very simple and clear to use, plus, you can use external services to add the functions you need.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its simplicity, its greatest strength is its greatest weakness, the fact that it is so simple makes it difficult to mark the times and know when a colleague is free or not, or if a task is completed on time.
Having to look for those external services that I think should already be implemented is a problem, since these services can disappear or cause some problem at any time, although at the moment I am very happy with Instagantt+ which is used to apply the Gantt chart to the tasks created in Asana.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The organization within the work group was initially very difficult to manage, both the work and the timing. We didn't have any tools, and it was very challenging. We needed a free and simple tool to get started. When we started using Asana, we thought it was the best work management application we could use as a small, non-profit development group.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Asana is a good platform for small companies, you can create tasks in a simple and organized way, you don't need much knowledge about task management to be able to use it. Additionally, if in the future you want more with the external applications they offer, you can make more use of it.
Recommended for small teams that have just started and want simplicity, for later on I think other services are better.

Great for publishing calendarA
What do you like best about the product?
Our publishing company has set up their calendar and uses it in an awesome fluid manner to manage content we produce. We have several calendars going at once and we love how we can cross-pollinate them and how easy it is to use
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the recent changes they have made made it difficult to find things
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A publication calendar was our primary need and this has been a game changer for us. We can also Dragon drop tiles across projects and edit in real time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do it.
Very simple and practical
What do you like best about the product?
One of the best things it has is the design and the speed it has to create tasks and assign them.

The best features are paid. We only have access to the most basic ones for free.

Task organizer of infinite benefits
What do you like best about the product?
A quick way to summarize it is: An agenda with infinite possibilities. At first, it may seem a bit complicated, especially because being a scalable and configurable application, it comes completely empty, but this is where its power lies, as it can be adjusted to any scenario. In our case, we use it as a board with schedules, quadrants, a database, and everything digitally, hosted in the cloud and in our case free because we don't reach the limit of 15 employees, so... what more could you ask for. Each user has access from a PC or mobile (Android and iOS) and it works really well. The truth is that even if you need more than 5 users, it is still an application very much worth considering, the learning time and money it requires is very small for all it can offer.
What do you dislike about the product?
That an application is so configurable can make it difficult for us to start because it comes empty. You have to create the users and all the projects we want with their respective permissions. Once the application is configured, it is about understanding how it works and getting used to it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is a consultation board and on it we have all the data we need. It's like an agenda but much more powerful. You assign tasks to each person and everything is recorded, making it very difficult to make mistakes and saving a lot of time since everything is recorded and serves as a reference and historical record.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The version is free for up to 15 users, it's worth trying it out and seeing all its potential.
Asana -
What do you like best about the product?
I like that you can assign a task to multiple people and it alerts them. It makes group projects a lot easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
the search capacity wasn't super great. You had to be super detailed and remember exactly what you were looking for, which can be hard when you dont remember.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were using Asana to manage projects and assign tasks. It was helpful to be able to assign a task to multiple people and Asana made it easy to duplicate tasks for more than one person.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you have someone managing the Asana account for your team.
Great tool to keep x-functional work organized
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to tag people & keep communication related to a given project all in one place. No tracking down emails or making sure as people get added that they get full email chains - tag them into the project or the conversation and they get visibility to it all.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Inbox feature can result in endless scrolling to try to find content.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cross-functional collaboration and project management. Much easier making sure everyone's on the same page with next steps and who's responsible for what.
Asana makes project and task management simple
What do you like best about the product?
Dependencies make it a lot easier to communicate when one task is finished and the next person can begin working.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like how messy the timeline view can be without a lot of effort.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're using Asana for project management, task management, project communication, internal roadmapping and communication, and team collaboration.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure all users are trained and that there is alignment on what Asana should be used for and how it should be used. Asana's flexibility is a strength and a weakness- too many options can cause confusion.
Great for small team projects
What do you like best about the product?
To be honest what I like best about Asana is the crazy amount of functionality that you get in the free version. The most helpful feature is being able to assign tasks to other team members.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the mobile app offered by Asana. While it is great that they do have a mobile app I found it very hard to navigate and get things done on the go in the app.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Asana to manage team projects like agent on-boarding, designing and ordering new marketing materials, or creating video projects.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely hop on the free version if you have a small team that needs help improving their workflow efficiencies.
Great product for task management and team collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
Asana has a really nice user flow and its easy to get started with. It's great for team collaboration, management and prioritization of tasks, as well as sprints planning. Onboarding new team members and getting them up to speed with a project requirements has never been easier. I like the custom themes, as well as months planning calendars. I also use it for my personal projects, it makes it easier for me to track my work and to have all the information that I need in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
There really isn't much. The tagging system is a bit simple for me, I would like it to be a bit more customizable, but overall I am satisfied with the service. There has been in the latest months some of a downtime, which needs to be tackled.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using it for our daily work for estimating, planning and managing team tasks. The main benefits are ease of use, availability and reliability. You don't have to waste time changing between email, spreadsheets, even desktop sticky notes, to manage a company's projects. The tool organizes all your team's work (like tasks, calendar, goals, files, notes, and more) in one place, so it's the only tool you need to coordinate tasks and keep projects on track. Moreover, with the teams feature, it is really easy for me to swap between my work, university and personal projects.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Best tool to keep all of your projects and team information and collaboration in one platform.
