Great flexibility and ease of use
What do you like best about the product?
Asana offers great flexibility so you can design the structure to fit your organization's needs. The features are customizable and built for multiple purposes. It's easy to use and intuitive so not much training is required for new users. The search feature is excellent and used routinely by our team.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can become expensive for a small organization who needs advanced features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to track projects, associated tasks, owners and status. We are also able to search all project history to find relevant information as needed. It helps us stay organized and keep a full history of each project, including comments by team members.

Resourcing powerhouse
What do you like best about the product?
It helped our small agency become way more efficient with resourcing and tracking milestones.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are features that I can't access without upgrading or maybe it's an educational aspect. I try to read all the update emails and attend webinars so I can stay on top of it all. Another issue (not with Asana exactly) is getting my colleagues to use it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My team is able to be much more efficient with our time using Asana to resource. The company is able to see visually when we have time opening up in order to bring on more clients. We can stay organized and use it as a way to track tasks so nothing gets lost. It also helps me plan and organize our conferences.

What do you like best about the product?
Checking off things I've done. I love to be able to visualize my projects. Since I work in fundraising, Asana helps me keep track of deadlines, communications, and opportunities.
What do you dislike about the product?
It just takes a bit of time getting used to it. But once you have the hang of it, it's super helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana lets me organize proposal deadlines. By seeing them in a list and being able to have all the funder information there, I can write proposals faster and organize my priorities.
Asana has been a game changer!
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Asana integrates with my gmail and clockify so I can pull tasks straight from my email and when it's time to complete the task I can easily set my time tracker.
What do you dislike about the product?
There was a little bit of a learning curve getting started. It took me a while to find the process I like best. But once I found it it has been amazing keeping my whole life organized!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I keep all of my client tasks in one place, organized by project. Every workflow, every deadline gets it's one place in Asana so I never miss anything. I also have my own business organization in Asana. Marketing campaigns, filing deadlines, random admin work for my business, everything is there easy to see!
Great organization & collaboration capabilities
What do you like best about the product?
I LOVE using Asana. It's perfect for managing all the projects my and my marketing team work on. It's easy to be able to categorize projects...Emails, Content, Website, Events but then see everything at once in the General All Marketing combined project. It makes it easy to filter by each person when we have stand-up meetings. Deadlines, subtasks, dependencies, and adding contributors makes the process seamless.
I love that I can custom organize my specific tasks in My Tasks. I rarely forget about things I need to do or let things fall through the tasks because of how amazing Anasa's software is.

What do you dislike about the product?
I do find it difficult sometimes to set up the "rules" in My Tasks so that I can stay better on top of duedates and organizing the tasks I need to complete each day/each week.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana makes communication between members of a team seamless and all in one place. It's easy to set tasks, dependencies, due dates, and collaborators for different projects/tasks and communicate with each team member easily.

What do you like best about the product?
Asana allows me to organize and sort through my personal, business and shared endeavors with ease. I have different projects for different segments of my life, and I like that Asana does not pre-determine how or when things get completed. I prefer to have autonomy, unlike some other systems, and like that I can keep track of my own tasks in the way I prefer. I use recurring reminders and set up family projects when things need to be completed on a personal level. I have used Asana for years and can not see myself using another project based, task-management system.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to be able to sort through my lists with more ease. I have ideas I keep for the future but I'd like them to stay minimized in my lists. They seem to re-appear even after I close the expansion. This can sometimes make me feel a bit overwhelmed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am a woman of many interests and projects! Asana helps me keep track with different boards and color coding. It allows me to place everything in my brain into one, seamless system.
One of the best ways to stay organized at work
What do you like best about the product?
i like the visual layout of my tasks, easy to organize which ones should be done first, which are due when, etc. i use this software daily, and it definitely helps keep me focused and on pace to deliver all my projects to the right department on time.
What do you dislike about the product?
at times you can lose communication through subtasks/in-drect comments if not tagged.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
allows users to be tasked with projects/flows so that we arent overstepping or duplicating time/work
Best Workflow Management Application - Asana
What do you like best about the product?
For my feedback, what I find most useful in Asana are its dashboards, reporting features, portfolio management, and project overviews. These tools provide clear visibility into project progress, help track key metrics, and offer an organized view of all ongoing work, which greatly enhances project management and decision-making.
What do you dislike about the product?
A key dislike I have about Asana is the limitation on portfolio rules. While the platform offers some automation, the rules for managing portfolios are quite limited, which can restrict workflow customization and efficiency when handling complex or dynamic project portfolios.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping build powerful reports and projects which serves in a great way to see the trackers and projects at a very higher level thats helpful for management. I look forward to benefit these functions in our daily operations to focus on the TASK, instead of managing the tasks.
Asana is essential to our operations!
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is one of the most easy to use collaborative project management tools I've ever worked with. It keeps all of our projects and tasks organized and streamlined which helps keep our teams on track while juggling multiple projects!

There's so much in Asana I feel like I'm just scraping the tip of the iceburg. Wish I had more time to learn more features and automations!
