What do you like best about the product?

What do you dislike about the product?
Many user friendly metrics are missing that can be shown on the basis of data collected, for eg:
1. how each individual is performing on the basis of deadline and actual day of completion of task (this needs extra care as we generally don't check mark a task until next standup but it is already completed a fews day ago)
2. how many tasks a user if juggling at the same time

What do you dislike about the product?
There's nothing I can think of at this time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana solves the problem of juggling many different tasks, and understanding where tasks may be blocked.
This benefits me because it gives me a sense of focus on what needs to be done today, and what I can be working on in order to move ahead with projects.

Simple to use, powerful when tailored to your team’s workflow
What do you like best about the product?
Asana offers a visually intuitive and flexible way to manage cross-functional projects, especially when you’re juggling multiple priorities across distributed teams. I appreciate how easy it is to customize project templates, tag collaborators, and build out workflows that reflect our internal processes. The ability to assign subtasks, set dependencies, and create form-based intake requests has streamlined how we track work and helped surface key priorities. I also like that it’s lightweight enough for new users but still robust enough to scale as projects grow in complexity.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Asana works well for managing discrete projects, it’s less equipped for long-term portfolio tracking without additional layers or tools. Reporting and resourcing features feel a bit limited if you’re trying to forecast or look across many initiatives at once. We’ve had to develop workarounds to manage capacity planning and big-picture project governance. Some features, like Goals or Portfolios, are behind a paywall, which can limit visibility unless everyone is on the same plan.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is helping us bring greater consistency and transparency to how projects are managed across the organization. Before, we lacked a shared system of record to track tasks, deadlines, and handoffs especially for multi-stakeholder initiatives. With Asana, we’re able to streamline intake, improve accountability through task ownership, and document our workflows more clearly. It’s also helped us create structure around recurring initiatives like onboarding, internal trainings, and vendor evaluations. The biggest benefit is having a centralized, easy-to-navigate space where cross-functional teams can actually see the work and move it forward together.
Great project management tool
What do you like best about the product?
I like the customizability of the tool as well as the usability.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can get messy in the tool quite quickly when you do not have structures in place how to deal with old tasks, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaboration with the team across projects. Task Management, OKR setting.
A great program to help streamline complex processes!
What do you like best about the product?
Asana has helped our team keep track of many different projects and tasks. I am a fan of the form feature - which helps us provide support to outside organizations. Additionally, we have a yearly audit to complete. Asana helps us lay out all of the tasks in a clear way as well as provide us with a timeline of events and who is responsible for each task. The rules made it easy for us to focus on our tasks, rather than having to do manual work.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are not many features that I dislike. I will say, it does take some time to set up our projects because of the automation tools that need to be configured beforehand. This is a downside in the beginning, but it streamlines the process afterwards!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Support inboxes and internal audits.
Asana really helps me see everything and stop feeling so overwhelmed
What do you like best about the product?
What I really like about Asana is how clearly it lays out tasks and projects. You can instantly see who owns what, when it's due, and all the relevant details like attachments and conversations in one place. The project views, especially the Board and Timeline views, are super helpful for visualizing progress and potential roadblocks – it's way easier to see the big picture than digging through emails. For example, seeing a project laid out on a timeline helps us spot dependencies and potential delays early on, which is invaluable. It just brings a lot of clarity and organization to complex workflows.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I sometimes struggle with is how much there is to learn when you first start using it. It has so many features and ways to set things up that it can feel a bit overwhelming initially. It definitely takes some time and effort to figure out the best structure for your team's specific needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem Asana solves for us is getting rid of the chaos of tracking work across different platforms. Before Asana, it felt like tasks and updates were scattered everywhere – buried in email threads, lost in chat messages, scribbled on sticky notes. Now, everything is centralized in one place, giving us a single source of truth for every project and task. This means we spend way less time trying to figure out what needs doing or hunting down information. It brings much-needed transparency and accountability, making sure nothing falls through the cracks and everyone knows exactly what's expected.
Great project management tool overall
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use for project management, the UI layout is good too and also the automation features are awesome.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's hard to cancel, change users or team count and I had past clients complain about this a lot.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us keep all of our tasks together in one place for bigger projects. It helps me keep my personal to-do list tidy and my assistant can check in and see exactly what's being done or not.
Personal Productivity Mega-Boost

Provides a centralized system for managing project implementation in several areas
