Asana has been an excellent tool for managing multiple projects.
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Asana is that it helps keep me organized while managing multiple projects at the same time. It’s very user-friendly, allowing me to easily track many tasks within each project, organize projects into folders, and seamlessly share them with my manager and colleagues. user-friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside I’ve noticed is receiving too many notifications at times, but it’s a small issue compared to the overall benefits.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps me manage the complexity of working on multiple projects at once, such as training programs, building new training, and onboarding several employees at the same time. It keeps me on track with every project and task I’m responsible for, and makes it easy to update progress by layering tasks into weeks, highlighting milestones, and using dependencies. I also benefit from being able to assign tasks to others and share projects, which keeps everyone accountable and aligned.
A Standard for Connecting High-Level Strategy to Daily Execution
What do you like best about the product?
I like its flexibility and its focus on strategic alignment. The ability to switch between Board, List, and Timeline views allows everyone on the team to work how they prefer, which is great for adoption. For management, Portfolios provide an instant, high-level overview of project health, and the automation rules are a huge time-saver for repetitive tasks. It's one of the best tool I've used for keeping high-level goals and daily work in a single place.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main drawbacks are the steep learning curve for its more advanced features and the fact that the most powerful tools, like Portfolios and advanced reporting, are locked behind the more expensive paid plans. New users can also find the volume of notifications overwhelming until they learn to customize their settings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana solved our biggest problems with fragmented work and a lack of clear accountability. It consolidated our scattered project information from emails and spreadsheets into a single source of truth, saving our team significant time. By assigning a clear owner and due date to every task, it ensures nothing falls through the cracks. For leadership, it provides real-time visibility into project progress, allowing for faster, more informed decisions.

Asana is very easy to use and makes tracking progress and deadlines straightforward. It’s great for cross-functional work—everyone can see what’s happening and stay aligned without endless status meetings.
What do you dislike about the product?
The volume of notifications can be overwhelming, and it’s hard to quickly sort through which ones are truly important. A more refined notification filter would make it even better.

Asana keeps projects organized and ensures deadlines don’t slip through the cracks. Our teams collaborate more smoothly and have a clear view of responsibilities and next steps.
Tasks and workflow made simple
What do you like best about the product?
I liked that it was friendly and intuitive. It was easy to see the tasks I had been assigned and who assigned them. Projects were broken down clearly, and I could check progress and metrics quickly. The layout made it simple to understand what was next, which kept me organized without much effort.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes there were too many ways to organize tasks, which could feel a bit overwhelming at first. Big projects with lots of subtasks were also a bit tedious to scroll through.

Asana helped me stay on top of my assigned tasks and deadlines without constantly checking in with teammates. I could see what everyone was working on, track metrics, and update my tasks easily. It made collaboration smoother, avoided miscommunication, and improved overall workflow, which was especially helpful when working from home.

Enhances Accountability, Needs AI Clarity
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how Asana allows us to manage multiple projects across departments seamlessly. The ability to have portfolios and automate workflows significantly boosts our efficiency. These features turn traditional spreadsheet processes into dynamic, interactive workflows, enhancing visibility and accountability within our projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm frustrated by the lack of clarity in the AI feature's pricing structure in Asana. The AI feature requires an additional tier and credits, but the way these credits work is confusing. It's easy to exceed the allowed credits in my tier, resulting in the AI feature turning off if you go over. This non-intuitive system isn't a one-for-one exchange, so the credit scale is confusing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana alleviates interdepartmental communication issues by providing clear parameters and accountability for requests, transforming guesswork into documented workflows, and enabling teams to focus on their work. It offers project visibility and multi-task management. By building a project, you are almost automatically creating RACI charts without trying, streamlining collaboration across departments.
